I had a bad accident when I was young which caused me to spend a lot of time at the dentist. I dreaded those visits because I was always in pain afterward and had no idea what was being done. Thanks to Dr. Vitarelli, I no longer dread dental visits. She explains what she is going to do before she starts and talks you through the procedure while it is being done. Best of all there is limited or no pain afterwards. Dr. Vitarelli is also very personable. My husband and two children (6 and 4) see Dr. Vitarelli as well. She is great with the kids. One required a few cavities and there was no crying (besides me!) and my daughter received a special surprise gift for being brave. The office is very clean and well attended. Appointments are kept to schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Vitarelli.

I highly recommend Dr. Vitarelli! She is very friendly and makes sure you are comfortable by explaining your situation/procedure. I never had a dentist take non x-ray images to show exactly what is wrong, so she integrates technology with her practice very well! I was also on a tight schedule so Dr. Vitarelli was accommodating!

Dr. Vitarelli is incredibly compassionate and gentle. She will walk you through the entire procedure and explain as she goes. In my most recent experience, I had broken a molar and in drilling the hole down in order to fill, Dr. Vitarelli stopped the drill when she felt like she was reaching a nerve to grab a hand file and continue gently as to not cause me any pain. It’s that kind of care and attention to detail that makes this a five-star dentistry and separates her from the rest. Not only did Dr. Vitarelli take great care to keep me comfortable, but she caught a problem that could have caused me tons of extra pain- not to mention a large bill in the future- all because she truly cares about her patients.

Literally the best dental practice I’ve ever visited! If you’re looking for a dentist yourself or for your family, no questions or hesitations on scheduling a visit. The office is always extremely clean, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The most warm hearted and caring doctor I’ve seen that is timely, organized, and accommodating to everyone’s needs. She was recommended to me by my sister and I can see why because she is an expert in the field, always able to answer any of my questions and will refer me to other practices if necessary.

Like another reviewer, we started seeing Dr. Vitarelli up in Secaucus. After experiencing issues with other dentists in the office, we always requested her. When we learned she was opening up her own office, there was little choice but to follow! She is wonderful, informative and accommodating to all sorts of patients. I have sensitive teeth and my husband has dreaded dentists since he was a child and lost a tooth in a playground fall (complications went into adulthood). I can’t recommend her enough to anyone looking for a friendly and highly qualified dentist.

My family and I used to see Dr. To-Vitarelli when she was working at American Dental in Secaucus, NJ (or the Apprehensive Patient? Not sure what name they go by now). We weren’t very pleased with the other dentists there, so when she left, we continued to see her in her Madison office. Though it’s about a 35 minute ride for us, it’s only a few times out of the year and we are happy to make the trip because we always have a pleasant experience. The office is bright, clean, and decorated nicely. She and the staff are friendly. There is hardly ever a wait when I go (on Saturday morning) and if there is, it’s short. In my experience, cleanings in general don’t take very long, but Dr. To-Vitarelli is quick yet thorough. I recently inquired about Invisalign for a family member who does not (yet) see her. Some dentists will recommend it for the money, but Dr. To-Vitarelli is honest and explained that not everyone is a candidate for Invisalign and recommended a consult first. She really cares about her patients. In all, my family and I highly recommend her!

Our family LOVES Dr. Vitarelli! This dentist is sweet and gentle with the children- carefully explaining each and every step and each dental tool before getting the ok from the child to continue. She diagnoses the issues quickly and offers the alternatives clearly and with compassion. Nobody LOVES going to the dentist, but this office makes the time pleasant. She schedules time for you and there aren’t a million people talking in the waiting room… no anxiety for me. Amazing experience! I had come from another dentist that I wasn’t satisfied with and was pleased to meet Dr. Vitarelli!! She was wonderful. So kind and considerate. Explained everything to me and talked through things with me when I had questions. I went in because my gums are receding and she told me why, adjusted my mouth guard to fit more comfortably, and gave me samples of all natural toothpaste (which I absolutely loved!) The office was clean and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend this dentist.

How many times have you said you love being at the dentist? Probably not many. This is different at Madison Dental Designs. When you first walk into Dr. Vitarelli’s office you’re instantly greeted with upbeat music in the background and a friendly smile behind the counter. You may have to wait a couple minutes if there’s a patient before you but the wait isn’t normally that long. In the mean time you’ll more than likely be offered some tea or even a friendly chat with the receptionist. The atmosphere of the office is welcoming and comfortable. This is more apparent when you meet Dr. Vitarelli. She is caring, careful and attentive. A dentist that walks you through the procedures and takes your concerns into consideration. I would highly recommend Dr. Vitarelli to anyone in need of dental care.

Dr. Vitarelli is the kindest, most gentle and compassionate dentist I have ever been to in my life. She really goes above and beyond to be responsive and concerned for the well-being of her patients. She actually listens to you and remembers particulars about previous conversations even though they are often six months apart. When I am in her chair, she makes it clear that I am her sole focus and she never makes me feel like she is in a rush to get to her next patient.
