Can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Rashti! So I have a condition that caused my upper right incisor to never grow in and I’ve basically had a huge hole in my smile since childhood. I really wanted to get it fixed but I’m like deathly afraid of the dentist so I never wanted to deal with it. Then a friend recommended Dr. Rashti was amazing for implants and I decided to give it a shot. She made me feel so comfortable and explained the process in such detail–she really took the time to educate me about the procedure and make sure I knew why she was going to do everything the way she did it. Dr. Rashti and her colleagues are the best.   They’ve created a very comfortable yet professional environment.  I’ll admit to having been neglectful of my dental health.  It was embarrassing to go into the office but as soon as I was there they made me feel at ease.  Beyond that it is obvious that she seeks to advance her skills and practice by staying up to date on current techniques.  I’ve had some tough procedures but recovery was fairly easy and I think that is due to her expertise and the care she provides.   She is consultative rather than preachy.  She’s been a guide in my making decisions on other procedures and I’m very happy with any referrals that she’s made.

I had a great experience with Dr. Rashti. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while, so I asked a co-worker for a good recommendation for a local dentist. I wanted to get a checkup and teeth cleaning. I phoned Dr. Rashti’s office, and they made arrangements for me to come in the same afternoon. I parked in the Public Parking lot which was much cheaper than using the medical building’s valet parking. The cost was $3. The medical building is modern and impressive as it sits on Little Santa Monica near Roxbury. Everything I saw was first class…from the elevator lobby, to the quaint waiting room inside her office. I waited less than 5 minutes and was greeted by Dr Rashti. Because I was a referral, I got complimentary x-rays before my teeth cleaning. The entire experience was pleasant and I look forward to my next visit. I have recommended several others to try this office, and they’ve all had a good experience.

It doesn’t get any better than Dr Rashti.  I was on vacation with some friends, had an unexpected need for dental services, I won’t get into details, it was a bachelor party and I somehow managed to need dental help as a designated driver.  Anyway, long story short, there I was, over three thousand miles from home and in dire need of help.  Dr Rashti gave me the care I needed in a very timely manner and was very easy on my wallet, considering the circumstances.  I would highly recommend her to anyone I know who may or may not be in a sticky situation that required serious dental work.  I am so very grateful for her, her staff and her skill.  I hope to return to her on far better terms. I lived in San Fransisco for years . I had headache since I  was 19 years old . I have been in so many different doctor offices and different specialists.  I have been seen by neurologist, pain management , acupuncturist,  chiropractor, psychologist, ….. Name them and I have seen them. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars every year and did not get any result,  More than anything else the frustration that nobody believed that I had such a horrible pain.  Going from dental office to another and ending up with multiple root canals, and eventually extraction of the same teeth made me totally disappointed and helpless.  My son was born about eight years ago. Unfortunately, I was so busy dealing with my pain, I lost  six years of my son s most precious life time.  Frustrated and on the verge of getting divorce, I decided to do some more research on line.  I shared my story and shortly after I received an email from another person with the same story.  She suffered many years of headache and multiple root canals, etc.  She recommended me to contact Dr. Rashti right away. I shared this idea with my wife.  She agreed to give it one last chance.  The next day we contacted Dr. Rashti.  I asked to talk to her personally prior to traveling to Los Angeles.  She talked to me patiently over the phone for more that half an hour. We arranged for my family to take care of our son and flew to Los Angeles.  As we walked to her office in Beverly Hills, we were so impressed by her  welcoming staff and making us feeling home. She welcomed us personally in the waiting room. Her calm manner made both of us so comfortable from the very first moment we met her.  After going through my huge pile of medical record, she recommended a CT Scan.  She arranged everything based on our tight schedule. I told her about my son and the fact that we needed to leave the next day.  After she reviewed my CT Scan, she recommended a procedure.  Oh my God!!!!!  It was a miracle. The pain was gone after the procedure.  The anesthetic wore off and I had no pain. We flew back home the next day. We went back home to our son.  For the first time I held my son in my arm and cried so hard from happiness. She is awesome. I recommend her to everyone with pleasure.

Gather round all of you people who are scared to go to the dentist…. Fear no more, as I have found the most wonderful Dental Care Team in Los Angeles! Dr. Rashti, and every single person working at her Dental Office are the type of caregivers that you only dream about. On my first visit, I was greeted with a big hug from Dr. Rashti, herself.  I have to admit that I was nervous because I have had to hold off on any dental work for quite a few years, and my teeth were in less than great condition. Shortly after arriving, and even though I was on Wilshire Blvd., and not Sunset Boulevard, I was “ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille.”  Out comes a super sweet woman to video tape my first impressions and get my “before” video. Dr. Rashti came in and started the working on bringing my smile back.  That made my day!  I wanted to cry…. I needed a lot of Novocaine shots for my initial surgery.   I have never had a dentist administer it so gently, rubbing the gums with each shot in such a soothing way,  while spreading the Novocaine out evenly over the gums after each shot. It didn’t take very long at all, and I was ready to go home, armed with instructions for my after-care, and with my “pre-surgery-filled” prescriptions. Dr. Rashti is a genius in that she gives you your prescriptions at your first consultation, and then instructs you to take them 1 hour before your surgery, so your medications have a running start, keeping you infection and pain free!!!  So smart! Well, I am a work in progress still, but I know that I’m in good hands and will never feel scared to go to the dentist again. Full Disclosure:  I am embarrassed that while I am writing this review, I have blanked out on the names of the other lovely and efficient crew, that make the whole dental experience seamless and pain-free. I’m going to get their names when I go in tomorrow.  These are good people and I want them to know how much I appreciate the stress-free care that can only come when all of the people are working in harmony with each other. And of course….my friend at the front desk, the first point of contact, is a joy! See you guys in the morning!

I first went to Dr. Rashti because my mouth was in need of a ton of help. I had 4 missing teeth, 2 cavities, and severe bone loss. For years, I knew my situation was bad but I was so terrified of the dentist that I did not do anything about it. One morning I woke up with the worst pain possible and went online to seek a dentist. I found Dr. Rashti and called for an emergency appointment. I entered the office with terror but I was reassured by Dr. Rashti’s staff that Dr. Rashti is very gentle. Dr. Rashti came into the room and introduced herself. She even cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood. Once she examined my mouth, she explained everything in detail and even drew a diagram of my mouth to help me understand what was going on and what the treatment would do. This really helped. The treatment was completely pain-free. Dr. Rashti explained everything I needed to know for after the treatment (what to eat and how and when to take medications, etc…) Dr. Rashti and her staff truly made me feel comfortable and now I am no longer afraid of the dentist!

Thank GOD! for Dr. Rashti! She said she would deliver great end results and boy did she do a great job. I finally have a smile that I am proud of. I am writing this on behalf on my mother: I’m sharing my experience with the outstanding, talented dentist and dental surgeon Dr. Mahnaz Rashti. Our family history with Dr. Rashti goes back a ways.  Sixteen years ago, on a Thursday, my husband Ray was diagnosed with Stage 3 tongue cancer.  Because this cancer is so aggressive, radiation and chemotherapy were scheduled to begin on the following Monday.  Ray’s mouth issues, which were numerous, had to be addressed before the grueling treatments could begin. Dr. Rashti performed the necessary surgeries and extractions to prepare Ray’s mouth for the fight ahead.  Her goal was to save as many teeth as possible and to protect tissue and bone.  Six weeks of daily chemotherapy and radiation ensued. Ray is a survivor however the cure takes a terrible toll on a patient’s mouth and neck. Salivary glands are destroyed, as are taste buds.  Radiation shrinks muscles in the cheek making it difficult to open wide.  Bones in the jaw are brittle as blood flow to the jaws is minimal because circulation is impaired.  Dr. Rashti is part of a team that monitors Ray’s mouth health as lack of saliva creates a critical environment and the health of the remaining teeth in his jaw are vital to stabilizing the already brittle jaws. Dr. Rashti is an outstanding doctor who is also a most compassionate and tender healer.  You can’t get any better care than that offered by our dentist Dr. Mahnaz Rashti. Also, due to years of neglect and poor quality dental care my mouth had issues too.  Dr. Rashti lazered and surgically corrected the soft tissue so that the pockets around my teeth are radically improved.  She has counseled and instructed me in the proper care of my mouth and gums.  She placed the post for my molar implant and I have yet to feel any pain or lack of confidence when she works on my mouth.  My gums are healthy and my teeth are strong and attractive at age 73.  I love and respect my dear friend Dr. Mahnaz Rashti.

Are you a chicken for the dentist just the same way i am! I came to Dr. Rashti’s office due to having periodontal/gum disease. I was so happy to know that’s Dr. Rashti was a periodontist and to know that she was going to get my gums back to being healthy. I had my gum surgery done June 9th of this year and felt no pain at all. The coolest thing was that it was done with laser. After my treatment Dr. Rashti had me make an appointment for post op just to make sure I was healing properly. Ever since the summer I’ve had no problems with my gums. Now I have cleanings scheduled every 3 months so I can keep my mouthhealthy. Dr Rashti also took a CT scan and very soon I’ll be starting my implant placement on two teeth, and I’m totally looking forward to it !! If anyone is afraid of going to the dentist I’d recommend going to Dr. Rashti. I’ve been going there for 5 years now. I remember being there the first time filled with so much anxiety, but I knew I had to go get my dental work done since I had already neglected my teeth for so long. I don’t write many reviews, but when I do, it’s because I have had a profound experience in that establishment.  Dr. Rashti became my dentist/ periodontist in September of 2015.  In the past I have not had favorable experiences with dentists.  Admittedly, some due to my nervousness when it came to my personal dentistry. However, much of that fear came from my previous experiences with dentists, and I am always at the dentist.  I have a family history with periodontal disease (on both sides), so I see my dentist/periodontist every three months.  For that reason alone, I needed to find a dentist who I felt comfortable with and one who I felt was great at what they do.  Dr. Rashti makes me feel very comfortable.  On my consultation visit she talked to me about the issues with my gums and teeth (much of which I already knew) and thoroughly explained what needed to be done to remedy my issues.  She takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and is genuinely interested in how you are doing.  On my last visit I was a little nervous about the procedure because I knew it would be invasive.  Dr. Rashti noticed my tension right away when I came in and talked to me to reassure me that I would not have any pain during the procedure.  Because of the history I have with dentists, I have to say I really didn’t believe there would be no pain during the surgery.  Well, I stand corrected.  Dr. Rashti’s promise of my procedure being pain free was true.  I have to say I love my dentist.  Dr. Rashti is an amazing dentist, but more than being an amazing dentist she is a phenomenal person with an amazing heart.  I am blessed to be her patient.

My boyfriend and I came here recently and they do a great job. He needed a small dental implant on a tooth he had problems with for a while & it came out looking good as new. We called a few days prior to coming and it was as easy as a breeze. Insurance wasn’t an issue, they explained what was needed and scheduling worked out perfectly. After discussing what we needed with Dr Rashti, we chose a 1 time implant that would save us quite a bit of money. Great to know they’re some people out there that truly cares for other people and not just the money. My first impressions when i walked into the build was that it was small, but in a clean in comfortable way of small if that makes sense. There was no line at the time, and we were assisted by the front desk lady almost immediately. Everyone was smile and so friendly, way different then places i go to when i’m home in Boston. Everything couldn’t have gone any better then that. Thank for a AWESOME experience.

Just left the office a moment ago. I’m not a huge fan of the dentist. At all. And I skipped a few years of cleanings like any responsible adult does. Whoops. I got up the nerve and I got a cleaning/X-rays from a different dentist (who wasn’t gentle or warm) a few months ago who told me I needed to have a huge list of work done. And that It would cost me thousands. I assumed she was right since I skipped cleanings but I wasn’t keen on letting her do the work. I wanted someone gentler. I decided to try Dr. Rashti based on the good yelp reviews and hoped for the best. She was amazing. So gentle, explained everything she was doing, consistently checked on me to make sure I was alright. She explained my X-rays in detail and we outlined a plan that wasn’t even half as drastic as the other dentist said it would be. I suddenly hate the dentist a lot less. Dr. Rahsti is the periodontist to go for implant and special dental procedures. Aside from her expertise, she also made me feel very comfortable , knowledgeable, eased my worries by explaining the details on what to expect before, during and after my procedure. Its very basic but its a great deal of customer service that you normally don’t get. She allowed me to have flexible payment plan so I could afford the implant and oral surgery. They  are very consistent in carrying out the same compassion and cheerful disposition at Dr. Rashti’s clinic. Dr rashti is so wonderful!!! I had bad gum problems one weekend and came in her office first thing on monday morning.. Since I couldn’t afford all the treatment she worked out a payment deal / plan with me right away because she saw how much pain I was in.. Her and the whole team are sooo amazing, funny, and kind! throughout the surgery they kept on making me laugh to try to make me forget about the insane amount of pain I was in and it worked! The surgery went very well… they called me that afternoon, that night, next day and so on to check up on me and make sure I was healing properly… Its rare in LA to meet such humble, kind, and normal people that really care about how you are doing! I highly highly recommend this doctor if you ever have problems.. Gum and dental surgery is very painful and has to be done right and you wont be disappointed there…thank you again for everything you guys did!!

Very enjoyable experience with Dr Rashti. Clean office, nice staff, and helpful receptionist. Also, the equipment she uses is all digital and seems state-of-the-art. Best of all, I never felt like I was being pushed into unnecessary treatments. She gave me all my options upfront and let me decide how to proceed. I have had many experiences in the past where I felt pushed into treatments that I didn’t feel were completely warranted. It’s nice to have a dentist that I trust and one that I know has my best interest at heart. After another visit to Dr Rashti, I was left again completely impressed. I had tremendous pain from a previous filling.  I assumed that I just needed a new filling.  She quickly diagnosed that the tooth was cracked itself.  I had shown this tooth to another dentist for an opinion; they told me root canal.  Dr Rashti said that it’s possible to save the tooth. She quickly numbed the area.  I’m a bit of a scaredy cat so I squinted and squirmed.  I had come in last minute so she had to put me in between appointments, but that did not detract from her attention to detail.  I was under so much pain that she decided to take immediate action. It seemed like a pretty intensive session lasting about an hour, but in the end, she was able to save the tooth.  Needless to say, it saved me thousands of dollars on a root canal and I get to keep my tooth. It’s hard to find a dentist who will take the time and care to honestly serve its customers.  I’m glad I found one here.

I heard about Dr. Rashti on KKLA radio in September. My mouth was in desperate need of a dentist, but money (actually, the lack there of) was my biggest issue.  I had recently come into some funds and decided to get help. Fred, who answers the phone, made an appointment for me (on Halloween of all days). He explained the parking situation (it’s not great in Beverly Hills), and there is a map on the website with the lots that offer a few hours of free parking. I received a few “reminder calls/texts” about my appointment, which I appreciated. The day of the appointment, I found the parking and got to the office a bit early to fill out paperwork.  The staff is extremely welcoming!  Fred made me feel I was part of the family in just a few minutes. I was escorted into the exam room (yes, I was a bit apprehensive, but not scared at all). Dr. Rashti came in and introduced herself.  She is very calm and understands how to connect with folks.  She went over my paperwork, and had to chuckle at a couple of my answers.  She has a sense of humour! We got down to business with x-rays, scans and the like. She came up with a plan of action for me.  We worked out the financials, and made an appointment for a few weeks later.  She gave me the “rules” for surgery day (I knew my teeth were bad, but they were bad enough they all had to come out.) On surgery day (21 Nov), my friend took me and hung out in the waiting room. She also got to see the office dynamics, and was very impressed.  She also felt like family when we left. So the surgery was a bit uncomfortable, but not bad.  The drugs Dr. Rashti prescribed did what they needed to do.  I was given post op instructions and went home (and slept). The next day, I realized Dr. Rashti has called later that night to make sure I was doing ok. I missed it  – I was asleep.  Then Fred called the next afternoon since I had not called back. They were concerned.  I truly appreciated that! My follow-up appointment (to get the stitches out) was a couple of weeks later (05 Dec). I was healing well.  Those couple of weeks were tough.  My mouth hurt and I could not eat or drink a lot (but I did find a couple of baby foods I liked … but still …) Both Fred and Dr. Rashti chastised me for not calling to let them know.  I understood the pain was going to exist during the healing process and there was nothing they could do to change that.  But they care!  She did make a couple of little adjustments to my new teeth which did help. Christmas and New Year’s came and went – and I missed eating all the holiday faire! But as the time went by, I found I was able to chew a bit better.  I also found my blender was a great help in the first week after my follow-up. I returned last week (10 Jan) for my last check-up.  Dr. Rashti was impressed with my healing. I can eat (chew) most everything I did before, but cannot bite much off of anything. It will take more time, but it is getting better!  No more blender needed. With it being winter, I use my crock pot quite often.  I am making all my usual dishes and am enjoying them with no issues. The “important” result – I smiled a lot over the holidays.  I haven’t done that in years. I let people take pictures (something I try to avoid) because I now have a beautiful smile, of which I am not ashamed! I realize this is a long review, and I appreciate you reading it through. I do have one more thing you need to know about Dr. Rashti …If you are a smoker, she will insist you quit.So start quitting now, before you have your first appointment! She is very firm about this – and, yes, she should be .. To sum it all up – THANK YOU DR. RASHTI. And thank you Fred and everyone else! Going to see her is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Dr. Rashti, where should I even begin? I had been searching for a dentist since my car accident yet all the dentists I went to had extremely high prices and scared me off. However, when I found Dr. Rashti, I went in for a consultation and her staff and herself made me feel welcomed. She allowed me to express my fears and told me there was nothing to worry about. She gave me a wish list and told me to write my goal (which was to get my smile back) and she told me, “Your wish is my command!” Dr. Rashti along with her staff explained every step of the procedure and even gave a detailed diagram as to what they were going to do. They answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. The day of the surgery, they made me feel relaxed, provided a blanket and a heat pack and made sure I did not have any pain. Towards the evening Dr. Rashti called to check on and make sure I was doing okay. She truly made me feel like I mattered. I had the best experience and sure enough I got the best smile. I am now proud to go and walk the streets and I can now finally go on dates and go out with my friends. I don’t need to hide my smile. I am so thankful for Dr. Rashti and her amazing staff for saving my smile.

I’ve always been afraid to go to the dentist for as long as I can remember, but as soon as I stepped foot into Dr. Rashti’s office I felt different. The receptionist greeted me by my name and offered me coffee, tea, and water, that was a first for me ! I had already filled my paper work online so I was all set. The waiting time in the waiting room was only about 3-4minutes which really impressed me. When the assistant began taking my x-rays she asked me if I felt okay and to let her know if anything was uncomfortable, which really helped me feel at ease. Once she was done, Dr. Rashti came into the room and took a look at my mouth. She sat down with me an explained everything to me even with drawings and models so I could get a visual on what was going on in my mouth. I had questions for her regarding my mouth and she answered  each one  patiently and detailed. She also has third party payment plans that helped me get my entire treatment done which was to get a couple teeth extracted. For the day of my surgery I was a bit nervous, but was excited more than anything. During my surgery they provided me with a blanket which kept me comfortable and Dr.Rasthi constantly asking me if I had pain made me realize that I was in the best hands. Once my surgery was done I was able to go back to work the very next day with no pain !! I still go constantly to get checked on to make sure everything is good. So, if your looking for a Dentist who is 100% pain free, loving, caring,under stable Dr.Rashti’s office is the place to go !

Her front desk staff is friendly and they always have a smile on their face. I know at least 10 people who have seen Dr. Rashti and they all love her and the staff. I told her one of my teeth has been bothering me for years and I have been to multiple dentists and specialists and they have just given me the run around. Dr. Rashti entered the room, and introduced herself and when she greeted me she had already updated herself on my chart. I told her what the problem was and she reassured me not to worry and she said “don’t worry we will figure this thing out together.” With her state of the art digital cat scan and radiographs, she diagnosed the source of my problem right away. Dr. Rashti has been a true life savor. For ten years my pain has been dismissed. In a matter of minutes she diagnosed me and set me up with the proper treatment plan. I had my semiannual cleaning and checkup with Dr. Rashti Smile Dental group this week. As always, it was an excellent experience. I got my implants and my coronal polish. I was extremely satisfied with the job that I also found the need to  get my temporary crown  done here. Honestly I continue to get treatment because it’s amazing how I feel no pain during the procedure. Dr. Rashti’s Smile Dental group  is an excellent option if you’ve got a job that doesn’t provide much flexibility in terms of start times, or time off, since they have appointments starting at 7:00 a.m. The staff is great at what they do and are super friendly, too. I never have to think twice about coming to my appointments. It almost feels like family going to the office.

My experience with Dr. Rashti has been great so far. Although pricey,it’s well worth it because when it comes to oral surgery, you want THE BEST and  to get out of there well and alive!  She also gives you the option of paying monthly through Care credit. I was TERRIFIED of dentist that I let my teeth get pretty bad and because of it, I’ve had to have multiple things done like gum surgeries and now I need several implants. Every single time, DR. Rashti has been just so patient with me, very helpful and nice that she’s really the ONLY dentist on earth right now that I feel comfortable getting procedure of this kind done. While working on my gums, I’m a total kid and I can’t hide it but she will stop if I feel any pain or just want her to stop for a bit, I feel completely comfortable when I go to her now and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else but her when it comes to dental surgery procedures. Just went in for a couple of very bad cavities.  My teeth are in pretty poor shape and I was very near root canals for a few of my teeth. First of all, Dr. Rashti helped me learn that all this hype against fluoride is nonsense.  I was recommended by some “well-meaning” friends to use natural toothpaste at $10 a tube thinking that it was better than the fluoride toothpaste I had been using.  BIG MISTAKE.  Many cavities and a lot of painful days later, I have learned not to believe these nonsense fads. Dr Rashti put me on some high fluoride treatments and other medication to ease the swelling in an effort to save my teeth from root canals. And yes, she was successful yet again.  Two fillings and zero root canals.  Most dentists don’t care enough to try.  She did everything she possibly could to save the teeth.  Find me someone else who will spend the time and effort to do that. This is absolutely the best dentist I have been to.  The office is immaculately clean and the office staff is amazing as they make you feel so at home and comfortable. Dr. Rashti was so gentle throughout the procedure and explained exactly what she was doing every step of the way.  I had the best dental experience ever and recommend her to anyone who is looking for an honest dentist and a dentist who has hands of gold!

To be honest Dr. Rashti is reason why my visits to the dentist are the best and easy. I used to be terrified of the dentist, I never liked the smell and I’ve had bad experiences previous years at another office.
