I have been seeing Dr. Mahboub for almost 3 years now. He is as honest as he gets while he is professional and skilled at its best. Years ago I have been referred to him, after the two other dentist suggested root canal is my only option or I will be losing my tooth within a year; but after Dr. Mahboub   take a look at it, he told me simple crown with hygiene can save it. And here we are after 3 years knock on wood the tooth is still standing ;o)  Thank you again

Dr. Mahboub is always friendly, professional and concerned with doing his best to address all your concerns. He takes his time and ensures the client is comfortable and aware of every procedure that is about to take place.

Dr. Mahboub is the best dentist I have ever had.  Very honest and skilled.  Penny is wonderful also and I love their environment.  I have always had “bad” teeth and I am very picky.  I also drive over an hour because it is worth it.  Recently I had to bring my children to the appointment!  Not what I had planned, but they accommodated me and helped me get through the appointment with speed and ease.  They are also extremely honest, and in the world of dentistry that is rare.

Many people dread going to the dentist, but when you have a caring person that is in it to make your smile better than ever, such as Dr. Mahboub, you look forward to the experience.   Penny is a great compliment and has a warm friendly smile awaiting as you enter.  The office is clean and very welcoming.  I’ve referred several of my friends to Dr. Mahboub and they have all had great experiences.  Do yourself a favor and experience what they have to offer.  Dr. Mahboub and Penny are a dynamic duo that will ensure you will have amazing teeth and a great customer experience.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mahboub  for about 5 years now and I plan to continue to use him as my dentist in the future. One thing that’s really great is that Penny the assistant does a great job  telling me what my insurance covers, so I can make informed decisions about what treatments to pick so I don’t pay out of pocket. Dr. Mahboub is also great. I’m not a doctor so I use blunt methods to gauge whether a dentist is good or not; simply do I still get cavities after I start seeing him. I do a good job of brushing, flossing and taking my vitamin C. It seems to me I shouldn’t get cavities. With dentists in the past, no matter what, I would still get cavities. With Dr. Mahboub, I had some fillings in the first 6 months, but haven’t had another cavity since. I’ve always been suspicious of my previous dentists that somehow they were creating work for themselves (because they kept on finding cavities), but I can’t say that about Dr. Mahboub since I haven’t had any new cavities. So if you live or work in the Irvine/Tustin area, I’d recommend giving Dr. Mahboub’s office a try.

I’ve been going to Dr. Mahboub for about 4 years now, and he’s been a fantastic dentist. Very honest and personable, he truly looks out for the patient’s best interest. Just recently he performed some bonding work on two chipped teeth of mine – work that was so well done I felt compelled to write a review (…).

SUUUPER CLEEAAAN Yes, Dr. Mahboub and Penny are awesome! My dad recommended me, and I have to say, I’m extremely glad he did. You will know right away that they are professional and humble.The environment there is great, SUPER CLEAN and personal. The work is 5-star. I can tell by how he works, his analysis, and the RESULTS that I have.
He was really honest in giving me an Overlay (a lot less evasive, cheaper, and quick) once instead of a full crown, saying that it may not stick well due to the location of it, but it won’t be a full commitment of grinding your teeth down for a crown (and if anything we can always do a crown in the future, I was 30 and I have a way to go before simply just deeming a crown right away). The other dentist I had said I have to have a crown and theres no way around it. He was a pretty good doctor also. But I’m 34 now and the overlay has proven to withstand the test of 4 years so far. If it does fall out at some point, I will then give in to a crown. Hopefully technology will offer an alternative by then. Just as the Overlay was a newer option. Love it. Also, Dr. Mahboub always asks about your comfort level while your in the chair. He gives the best shots ever! His hands are magic. He doesn’t even have to do the shake-technique much! I can barely feel it. You know those big chromed-out syringes are intimidating enough as is (why do they make them like that anyways).

Dr. Mahboub and Penny are so nice and detailed with everything they do! Dr. Mahboub is my go to dentist. We’ve all had the dentist who takes like 10-15 minutes to do the teeth cleaning and then calls it a day, but Dr. Mahboub definitely takes the time to thoroughly clean my teeth! I recommend Dr. Mahboub to anyone who wants quality dental services
