Wonderful dentist! Everyone at Maidu Dental is friendly and caring. My daughter (8) and I are always put at ease and they make coming to the dentist easy! They go above and beyond during and after each visit to make sure all of our dentist/orthodontist issues and concerns are resolved painlessly. Dr. Markham is knowledgeable, kind, and efficient! I highly recommend Maidu Dental if you can become a patient there.

I know that I am the toughest case that Dr. Markhum has ever had to treat and will always continue to be. She has always handled me with kid gloves due to the fact that I am extremely sensitive with pain and that I was not genetically blessed with perfect teeth. You could say that when you see my smile, they look nice. But look further, and you will have the strongest notion that I was born from the stone ages. Dr. Markhum has always taken such care of me and handled my teeth with such great care and has also used me as a case study (from what she had told me) and has the most absolutely compassionate bedside manner. That to me is the number one reason for which I stay and there most up to date and most unbelievable equipment in her office to treat her patients. Thank you Dr. Markhum, I am very fortunate to have been with her since she opened and to have seen her practice explode into such a successful endeavor!

I had my cleaning done with Quin and she is amazing. Not only was she gentle but very thorough. I generally am relaxed at the dentist, but I could have fallen asleep in the chair! The whole office vibe is positive and fun. Dr. Markham and her team are excellent. Makes my trips there much more enjoyable. Looking forward to my next cleaning!

Actually, this is Marty, Deb’s husband. At 71, I have been to my share of dentists. Dr. Markham is truly in a class by herself. Imagine, if you can, a dancer, every movement exact, every movement precise, every movement focused, consciousness and energy whirling all about you. Literally a dental ballet. That is Dr. Markham… I was quite literally stunned by her grace and laser like focus. Painless, kind, and gentle, as his her entire staff. I actually enjoyed my entire experience because it was so filled with consciousness and caring. She is definitely my dentist (she was recommended by my wife who holds her in the same regard) from now on. Wish I could giver her 10 stars!

My husband and I needed to find a dentist closer to where we moved and by our daughters referral we went to Dr, Markham at Maidu Dental. WOW, we are blown away by everyone in that office. They are very personable and really want your time with them to be the best experience that you could ever have in a dental office. This office has all the newest up to-date equipment to make their job more efficient as well as more comfortable for us as patients. The other mention I want to make is Dr. Markham has a very positive relationship with all her employees. It seems to be their goal to help each other make the best working environment as well. Dr. Markham compliments her employees and thanks them for helping her, which shows she appreciates them making her job easier. We highly recommend this office for all ages!

Dr Lumi is fabulous! She is sweet, and knowledgeable and she is a lot of fun!  My daughter (5) loved her first experience with her and was excited the next time she got to go back for a cleaning!  Her staff is sweet and treats us like family.  They seem sincerely interested in me and my family and remember things I tell them.  They are all awesome- I highly recommend this office!

I recently had several extended visits with Dr. Luminita Markham. I seldom write reviews but this one deserves the sincere effort which will be applied to it. Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, my experience with the solo dentist available for 30 square miles, was so traumatic that now at 71 years of age I have trembled at the word “dentist”. Years of procrastination insured my visits with Dr. Markham would be prolonged. Ten cavities to be more precise. The incredible caring culture of her office was unbelievable. Dr. Markham was the ultimate skilled, precise professional which I have never experienced in dental care. Not only are my teeth now healthy, more importantly, I have received healing of a lifelong fear of dentistry. For this I am very grateful. Margie Boeye.

I had avoided going to the dentist for 2 years because of previous negative experiences. I had a very sore tooth and knew I needed to go in. I found Maidu Dental through Google and I couldn’t have picked a better dentist to do the job!!! Dr. Markham and everyone else working here go out of their way to make you feel safe and comfortable. Everyone is so friendly, kind, and accommodating. After my first visit, all my anxiety went away because I knew I was in the right hands. If you have any dental anxiety, this is the perfect place for you!

My experience at Maidu Dental was amazing. The staff was very welcoming and made sure to take precautions due to covid. You have to wear a mask inside of the office, as well as get your temperature taken, given hand sanitizer, and fill out a covid screening questionnaire. All in all, I definitely recommend coming here. Dental work is proficient as well as the patient services.

Was the best dental service I’ve had in years! I have severe anxiety & trust issues. I was so relieved to find an AMAZING dentist who was not only kind & capable, but extremely thorough & meticulous while putting me at ease & explaining the process as we went along. Dr. Markham is very friendly, non judgmental & easy to confide in. I had been to several other providers over the past few years & now I’ve found the dentist for the rest of my life!

Met with Dr Markham and Carolyn today. My husband called and was given an appointment the same day! Had the best new patient intake ever. I was treated with the utmost care. I already feel as though I’m part of the “family”. Am looking forward to my next visit. I would highly recommend this office to all who ask! All staff members were awesome!
