I first went to this practice in 2004 when I had a dental emergency while I was at work. Our office has now moved to south Charlotte and I live in Rock Hill, SC but I still make the drive to Mallard Creek Family Dentistry for my dental care. After some truly horrible experiences with other dental practices closer to home, I really appreciate the quality care that I receive at Mallard Creek. They are not on my dental insurance plan but I pay the difference because it is worth it for the level of care that I receive. I highly recommend them to everyone that I know and I have already added quite a few patients to their roster. Do yourself a favor and give Mallard Creek Family Dentistry a try — you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent dentists and hygienists! The biggest issue I had was this lady Susie, I believe. She is the office manager. She treated the hygienist like garbage and was micro managing. I have had those type working with me before and it makes your job miserable. The hygienists here do amazing work and I did not appreciate how she spoke to these ladies. Especially from someone who probably never even had their jobs or can relate, at all, to what they do.

Everyone at Mallard Creek Family Dentistry is awesome! The front desk staff is friendly and considerate when making future appointments and explaining insurance coverage. The hygienist Amy was friendly, kind, patient, and gentle. Dr. Gustafson was also kind, and honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I’ve been a client/patient at Mallard Creek Family Dentistry since 2008 and I have had a good experience at every single visit. Every person I see, from reception to the hygienist to the actual dentist, is pleasant and friendly and so helpful. I must give Miriam a special shout out for making my most recent visit extra wonderful!

My visit today was great. All procedures for this dreadful Covid were upheld. All of the staff were cheerful and helpful. Amy, you did an amazing job with my cleaning and X-rays. From routine visits to more difficult procedures, they have done their best to make sure I am informed of my dental needs, comfortable as they are working, and most importantly, healthy. Who’s not extremely busy? I can’t think of a single person. And yes there are times where I’ve had the opportunity after checking all of the (have to do) boxes where I find solace by poking in a few of those difficult-to-put-down Oreo double-stuffs. Never one to completely neglect my grill (as the older kids call it), I’ve now placed it second only to always being present to gobble up my wife’s world famous spaghetti and meat sauce. The staff of Mallard Creek Family Dentistry are all to be commended for being true ambassadors of their medical profession. Special accolades to lovely Miriam and Doc Rankin (who absolutely insists on wearing wedges on Wednesdays…) for their professionalism and passion to help all who are seen. Truly friends and family for many years to come. Highest recommendations possible!

Definitely the best office I have ever been to! Wendy was very helpful up front and Kelly my hygienist was amazing! She was informative and listened to all of my concerns. She was very gentle on my sensitive areas and made the process much easier on me. My dr was also so great in providing treatment options. Being a patient here was a great decision!

I have been looking for a good dentist and hygienist for a while ; I was lucky to find the amazing , caring and professional staff at Mallard Creek Dentistry. I never been in a dentist that did such a good first time examination and cleaning.They were on time with my appointment and very serious about keeping all he appointments on time. My visit to Mallard Creek Family Dentistry was awesome. My fears and apprehension were put at ease. And the entire visit was professional and thorough. Robin is soothing and very informative. The doctor was pleasant, knowledgeable and very clear in her explanation of my oral exam. The atmosphere was very conducive for my first visit. I am making this practice my family dentistry.
