I am so glad I found Dr. Jovanka Zivkovic. She is one of the most honest, professional and kind people I have met. Her work is amazing! She is very detailed and perfectionist which is what I need when it comes to my smile. She went over all the things I needed and explained the urgency of each thing. She explained the financial part of the process (which her amazing staff explained in more detail before any work was done). I felt comfortable from the first day I met her and am so blessed I found her. I will be her patient for life!

I found Mamut Dentistry after looking for a dentist in Astoria. My dentist was very professional, and friendly. I like the fact the she took her time to clean my teeth with efficacy–no pain, no regrets. It’s a bit hard to find a dentist with such patience. Sometimes I used to leave my other dentist’s office with pain on my gums because he was always too rough. Not with this dentist–it was a different and positive experience whit her. The front desk girl is very nice as well. She even emailed me the “first time patients’ form” to fill it up at the comfort of my time before the appointment. So I didn’t have to wait for too long to be seen by the dentist on the day of my appointment. If you are looking for a good dentist, this is the place to go. They even have good payment options for people with or without insurance. Hence, I highly recommend it.

Dr. Jovanka Živkovic is not only an extremely qualified dentist, she is also very enthusiastic about her work and lovely to be around. She radiates confidence and inspires a comfortable and secure atmosphere, which is quite appreciable when you’re being poked with needles and having teeth extracted. But everything mentioned above, would be for naught, if she was not the most expeditious doctor I have ever met! I have never been in and out of a dentist’s office so promptly in all my life. Absolutely 5+ stars! Dr. Zivkovic is one of those doctors that you are truly lucky to find. In a sea of doctors that push patients through, Dr. Zivkovic took the time to put me at ease, was personable, caring, gentle and went above and beyond in her follow up checking on me. I recently went for 2 units of Botox and some Juvederm. Her gentle touch, less is more attitude for a more natural look and happily offered a follow up if I wanted or needed more. No more wrinkles and my cheeks and face have a full and defined look. I immediately received compliments and would highly recommend!!

I had a pain in my gum and went to Dr. Jovanka’s office. She was able to help me out and she had explained to me very thoroughly about my dental issue. She pleasantly surprised me today with how quickly she was able to extract my front tooth and do the bone grafting. There was no place for any discomfort, since she was very gentle with me. I’m proud of her, and grateful that I’ve found a dentist that can do many different dental procedures herself. She had showed me one more time not to ‘judge the book by a cover’. Last week I went to see Dr. Zivkovic after a few friends highly spoken about her. At the first visit she did exam, x-rays, and cleaning (for a very fair price). I am 32 and this was the first PAINLESS, yet excellent, cleaning I’ve ever experienced in my entire life!!! (My gums usually bleed during this procedure, but with Dr. Zivkovic it did not) I went there again, this time to get my wisdom tooth removed and once again, great job and not only that but also follow up post-op over the phone in the middle of the night just showed how caring Dr. Jovanka is! Thanks for everything, will definitely come back and definitely refer to my friends!

It is very easy to make an appointment and they are open on Sundays 🙂 and open late. Both my husband and I had a cleaning due from our insurance. We filled out the forms online and probably waited only about 5 minutes to see her. She was extremely thorough with her cleaning and took the X-rays on her own.
