I kept putting off seeing a dentist because I did not know who to go to. So after doing some internet searching, I chose to go to see Dr. Tran because of the good reviews. I am happy that the reviews were spot on. The staff are very courteous and knowledgeable. Dr. Tran explained to me the condition of my teeth and provided his recommendations in terms that I could understand. I am very pleased with the choice that I made and will be coming back for recommended scheduled cleanings.

I went to Dr. Tran for the first time last week and it was the best experience I have had at a dental office. He spent more time with me explaining everything thoroughly and really showed more care than any other dentist that I have been to in this area and elsewhere. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly very caring in nature. I would highly recommend Mangrove Bay Dentistry and Dr. Tran to anyone looking for a dentist in the Tampa Bay area.

I would definitely say it’s not typical of a dentist office to care so much about a patient’s experience on a professional and personal level. These wonderful people are all pleasant and it definitely goes beyond a hello. Very knowledgeable and eager to educate their patients. To me that goes a long way and says a great deal about the ethics of a practitioner and their associates. Thanks guys!

First time here and amazed by them. The service was amazing from the start! My hygienists and I had great conversation which made time go by fast and they even have a TV you can watch while they work. Doctor T gave more feedback than I had ever heard in my 30 years along with the he technology they have, well…..It was outstanding! I’m looking forward to my next visit (said no one ever but this guy!).

I’m shocked I hadn’t reviewed Mangrove. I’ve been coming to Dr. Tran since I moved from Pinellas to Tampa in 2011. I was in need of a new dentist because a dentist in Palm Harbor lied to me so he could drill and make money on my insurance. I did like my hygienist at his office though. It was confirmed that there was no way I needed that much drilling as I have a pretty decent set of choppers and I take good care of them. I’ve hated every dentist I’ve had in Florida because I never felt they had my best interest at heart and were only interested in lining pockets. That all changes with Mangrove. Dr. Tran and his staff has been taking good care of my teeth for about 6 years now. I’ve had different hygienists over the years…some better than others. My current hygienist has been with me for over 2 years now. Her name is Kelley and she’s fantastic! I don’t need anyone to take it easy on me and she does a great job of getting my teeth nice and clean. She’s also a great person to talk to. Very genuine! I hope she stays with Dr. Tran as I’m very satisfied with how great a job she does. Since I had a weak tooth that the bad dentist in Palm Harbor drilled down to nothingness, it cracked when I bit down on a hard end of an empanada one Christmas Eve party. I was in immense pain every time I accidentally bit down on the cracked molar. Dr Tran patched it and told me I needed a crown, but he wouldn’t give me one until I finally remove my wisdom teeth. The reason I waited so long to remove the wisdoms is because an oral surgeon back when I lived in St Pete in 2005 told me that I had a 65% chance of having half my face paralyzed because the pajama feet (root) of my left wisdom tooth was resting on my nerve. If the nerve is damaged during the pull, paralysis was possible either temporarily or permanently. So, I wasn’t going to risk it. My job entailed talking and speaking in front of an audience and I couldn’t look crazy. I did a damn good job of keeping what I could see if my wisdom teeth clean and I only had pain from them about twice a year. I was willing to live with it that way. Well, Dr. Tran referred me to a wonderful oral surgeon in Westchase that gave me the option of cutting the one wisdom tooth instead of a full extraction due to my stubbornness and I finally got it done. Dr Tran did a wonderful job on my crown afterward. I sent my niece to Mangrove because I noticed she had pain when she bit down on some food when we went out for her going away dinner. Dr. Tran saw her immediately and fixed her tooth before she moved to Hawaii. Dr. Tran and his team are just good honest dental people who really care about their patients. This is why I’ve been a loyal patient for several years. Highly recommended.

I moved a lot when I was younger. I have been to 11 dentists and only 2 were true professionals. Dr. Tran is definitely one of the 2. The other is Dr. Bruce in Dunwoody Georgia. I would recommend Dr. Tran to all in the area. He is even worth the drive if need be. Thanks Dr. Tran and the whole Mangrove Bay staff.

This Dentist is very proactive and for good reasons-people need to listen to avoid unpleasant experiences down the road..His staff has increase and so has his office. His office and personally has been inspiring, making a great place to go no matter what the problem may be. I hate dentist but I enjoy my experience with his dentist and his staff. I would without a question recommend this dentist.

Mangrove Bay Dentistry is a VERY MODERN, and has a FRIENDLY STAFF. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Tran and his staff for years. They are all very knowledgeable, professional, but yet Friendly and Gentle. They explain everything they do and answer all questions. Time just flies by while I am there.

Fun and friendly staff. Dr. Tran explained everything in detail about what my future dental health holds and what it will take to get there. Admittedly I haven’t been the best at taking care of my teeth. All rates were explained in detail so I know what to expect. Very thorough initial exam. Rare to hear but I’m looking forward to my next visit.
