Dr Togias knows his job and is honest : he doesn’t push for a kid to get braces too early as the kid might end up needing a second treatment. To put it in clear plain english : he is not greedy! Ouh.. I am surprise that this orthodontist has limited reviews. It took me months to decide who will take care me for three years. I have been for numerous orthodontist for quotes. Glad, I decided Dr. Togias. He and his staffs are too nice, funny, friendly, but professional. No surprise that you will find plenty kids have fun with them. I hate dentist and scare of anything relates to teeth. However, they made me relax and comfortable. His office is super clean, no sting dentist smell and spotless. It is super easy to make appoinment and they will remind you. Need emergency? Need to switch schedule (I have tought schedule) – they happily adjust it to your schedule. When you arrive, they will take care you in few minutes – the longest I wait is 7 minutes. No one like to wait. Isnt it? Is it expensive? Maybe – but he is definetely worth it. My friend got the cheap orthodontist, however, there is a cost in every visit, every emergency, every excuse… He does NOT do that. Am I happy? Yes. Even my wife is thinking to have him after my case done. Please be careful when you decide orthodontist, you will stick with him for years – but I am so glad to choose him.

I was referred by my dentist for some problems I had with Invisalign and I was not happy about having to go to an orthodontist because… in general I hate all doctors. It’s scary! Hands down, Dr.Togias is the BEST orthodontist in NYC! I went in two weeks ago for a consult, something I had been avoiding for years after an earlier orthodontic experience a few years ago that hadn’t gone too well. From the very second I stepped into the office, I was greeted with smiling faces and an amazing staff! Pedro (treatment coordinator) was fantastic! A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Born in Rochester, New York, Dr. Kris Togias completed his early education in Greece. Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Togias completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Rochester, after which he moved to Boston. He earned his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and went on to complete a postgraduate specialty residency in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics. As a dentist with additional and specialized treatment in Orthodontics, Dr. Togias recognizes various characteristics of a malocclusion or dentofacial deformity, define the nature of the problem, including the etiology if possible, and design a treatment strategy based on the specific needs and desires of the patient. He is committed to comprehensive, high-quality orthodontic care with a focus on individualized treatment based on the unique needs of patients of all ages. While treating early orthodontic and adolescent cases, Dr. Togias also specializes in managing cases in children with growth and development concerns and syndromes such as cleft lip and palate, congenitally missing teeth, impacted and supernumerary teeth, and combination orthodontic/orthognathic surgery adult treatments. Dr. Togias offers multiple corrective appliances from clear aligner therapies such as Invisalign®, clear and metal braces, as well as Incognito® lingual braces. He is an active member of several professional dental organizations, including the American Orthodontic Association (AOA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
