i just wrote a pretty long-winded review of dr babushkin (yelp.com/biz/babushkin-h…), the dentist at manhattan oasis, so i’m just cross-referencing. the actual office is probably the most beautiful medical office i’ve ever seen, and they’re getting new technologies all the time, each one more impressive than the last. my favorite thing that they have is a digital xray thing that isn’t dangerous like the ones i’ve always been used to. the photos come up on a computer screen which dr. b loads onto the flat screen tv in front of you and shows you exactly where a cavity is. it’s soo organized. he also has a little machine that makes veneers so that you don’t have to run around the city with temporaries for a week while a lab somewhere molds them. AND they do massages if you make an appointment for it. even if you don’t, they have hot towels so that you don’t feel all gross and dentist-y for the rest of the day as long as manhattan oasis exists, i won’t go anywhere else for my dentistry needs. the only suggestion i have is to book really far in advance. they are always booked solid

i had an emergency over the weekend and my face blew up . Dr. Richter called me and prescribed antibiotics immediately, checked my records online and i needed an extraction and possible root canal in another tooth. Two teeth were involved. I was panicked as i am very afraid of going to the dentist. I just returned from seeing him and the extraction which he did while i was waiting for him to do it.! He is really fantastic and made me feel so comfortable. I always use gas but this time, I didn’t need any and it was like “no big deal” I can;t believe it.. he is so knowledgable, charming, funny, warm and great.. i love him !

I had an issue that I didnt think would ever get fixed. I had a bad crown and abutment put in a few years ago and it was loose. The other dentists that I visited couldn’t resolve the issue until I met Dr. Richter. After providing him with the information that I had, he immediately identified the issue and had the proper tools on hand to identify the type of abutment. He explained everything that would need to be done to replace it and eased all the anxiety that I’ve been having. His staff was also very friendly and they walked me through each step (molding, x-rays, next appointment)

I just performed an extraction of an infected root canal with Dr.Richter. His gentle approach and overall knowledge of the procedure immediately relived me of the anxiety I walked into his office with. Dr. Richter educated me with relaxing conversation that comforted the procedure as he performed an extraction, ozone cleansing of the area and bone graft in 35 minutes /PAIN FREE/ during and post service. His distracting way of administering the injections are incredible. His years of experience in perio /gum disease allows him to extract the tooth form the area best to relieve the patient of pain. After having an extraction earlier in the year that left me very uncomfortable, I can highly recommend the dental services of Dr. Jonathan Richter for your holistic dental services both adult/pediatric. Dr. Richter is an extraordinary dentist, and an artist in repairing the mouth.  He is focused on making one’s mouth as healthy as possible, as well as looking and feeling great. He is also an extraordinarily compassionate and caring professional. He explains procedures thoroughly, responds fully to questions and is a pleasure to know and work with.  I see him in his NYC office, which is part of Dentistry for Health.  The support staff there are also knowledgeable, caring and willing to do whatever it takes to make one comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Richter and Dentistry for Health.  I’ve not been to his other office, but as he is there…..I’m sure it is also great.

BEST! A++++ I was impressed with the office and dentist, DR. Richter. He fixed my tooth like it was never broken. There was no wait and the pricing was great. I wanted to find a dentist that would not be too expensive; I needed a lot of work done. This was a great experience and I recommend this place to everyone.

I would like to give Dr Jonathan Richter my highest recommendation. He made my tooth extraction a virtually painless process. He is kind and professional, and extremely knowledgable. He has a depth of knowledge from his extensive training, but is also well versed in newer modalities, such as “holistic” options for implants. Top notch!

Best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist in NYC. I never wrote yelp reviews before, but I know it can be hard to find a great dentist. I am the Holocaust Survivor want to express my gratitude to Dr. Richter’s dental office. They helped me with very complicated problems. I have struggled with teeth issues for years and they did an incredible job and did everything perfectly. They are kind, responsible, very professional, and treating me like a human being rather than hurrying up to the next patient.

Not all Invisalign is created equal! After completing a less-than-perfect Invisalign program with my former dentist, I trusted Dr. Richter’s advice to give it another try. The experience has been DAY and NIGHT. Dr. Richter is an ARTIST who moved my teeth in tandem, in stark contrast to the program designed by my former dentist in which my teeth where shifted all over my mouth and ultimately never achieved alignment. I learned that who you choose to design your Invisalign matters. It’s not all done by computer – there is human input, and it needs to be expert. Dr. Richter says the world he deals in is in millimeters. I am grateful for his acute attention to detail – I have had no discomfort and my teeth are now exactly where I want them! Dr. Richter is a skilled dentist and a kind human being: a rare and exceptional gem in the world of dentistry!

I finally found a dentist office that I love. My husband and I both had appointments and we couldn’t be happier. Everyone was friendly and the office was spotless. We had a great experience and I recommend this office to anyone in the area.
