I had the most pleasant experience with this office! Not only are they knowledgeable and professional, but they’re also extremely kind and compassionate! I look forward to working with this amazing team in my quest for good oral health and that is saying a lot coming from this dental coward! For the first time ever, I’m happy to go to the dentist. Dr. Tanios is like a rare diamond in the dentistry world, honest skillful friendly , all what you can wish for in your dentist. While I know so many good dentists, nobody makes me feel comfortable and relaxed as much as Dr. Tanios. She has been doing my cleanings for many years now and I never ever feel any pain. I highly recommend especially if you are someone who gets anxious from going to dentist.

Dr Tanios is an excellent dentist, Jackie (front desk), and Rita (assistant) are pleasant and professional.  Ive had bad experiences with dentists in the past, and dont really like going if i can avoid it. Matter of fact when i see the drill being readied for use on my teeth, my eyes bug out like when a vampire sees the sun.  Dr Tanios’ pleasant personality eases my fear, and her accurate use of the instruments always prevents unecessary pain,  unlike other dentsts. Shes very thorough when cleaning my teeth, and I’ve never felt pain during any treatment.  If youre looking for a dentist, i highly recommend DrTanios.

Finding a great dentist is a big decision and for me I was dreading this task being new to Los Angeles. Dr. Tanios and her staff are excellent and made my decision to choose their office easier than I had hoped. The office is very clean and professional and the staff are very knowledgeable. This is what you want in a dentist and their staff. Dr. Tanios made me feel like I was going there for a long time already. She is very personable and professional and knowledgeable all at the same time when speaking with me. I felt right at home and am happy with my decision. Please see for yourself and if your looking for a new dentist or want to move from yours, this is a decision you won’t regret. I was referred here by a friend after their own exceptional experience. I was thoroughly impressed by the degree of professionalism, and efficiency in the clinic. The clinic staff were pleasant and accommodating to my time restriction. Dr. Tanios sat with me and explained her findings, and laid out the treatment plan. She did not rush, and spent ample time making sure I understood the treatment. She offered me Zoom whitening. She was not persistent when I declined, compared to my last dentist.  During my second visit, I agreed to try the Zooming Whitening and it’s the best decision I made. My teeth are noticeably whiter.  I am very glad I found Dr. Tanios. She is dependable, trustworthy, and just a nice person.  Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I moved to CA 3 years ago and have had the hardest time finding a dentist, until TODAY! Finally a dental office that truly cares about the patient. Dr Tanios office is located on the 2nd floor of the Whitmar Medical Dental Building. You can take the stairs that are on the outside of the building, or walk inside the first floor and take the elevator. You will not miss her office, because it is decorated so cute! (Pic below) You will be greeted by the receptionist, Irene, she is the nicest lady! I had given her the wrong insurance information and she was able to help me figure it out and she even went over coverage on everything I was I was listed in for. Once I got in the chair, the dental assistant took X-rays and was gentle and patient with adjusting those thingies they put in your mouth. Dr. Tanios actually did my cleaning and was very gentle and thorough and also made sure I was okay through the whole process! I was so nervous going in too because my last cleaning was 2.5 years ago . She didn’t make me feel badly about that, thank heavens! It was a pleasant experience all the way around! If you need a new place, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. T!

We were going to another dentist for 15 years and we were always paying out of pocket because we didn’t have dental insurance.  Well, we recently got dental insurance but our family dentist didn’t accept our plan so I had to find a new dentist for myself and my entire family.  This was an extremely hard process and it was a very scary thing to do because we all loved our dentist and her staff dearly. I looked on Yelp and saw Dr. Tanios’s reviews and picture so I decided to give her a call.  It was explained to me that she accepted my dental insurance plan so I decided to stop by the office to check it, and her, out.  I learned that Dr. Tanios had recently taken over the practice from another dentist who had been in the office and in the Whittier area for many years.  This brought great comfort to me to know that a doctor with so many loyal patients trusted her enough to hand them all over to a new, young dentist.  I decided to give Dr. Tanios a chance. The office building has recently been remodeled, as well as the office waiting room.  The front desk receptionist is a sweet, older woman that reminds me of Mrs. Claus.  Dr. Tanios is a young, pretty doctor who is just beginning to make a business of her own.  She is friendly, gentle and very personable.  Her dental technician is a young man and he is nice and does a good job.  They are good with children and, as scary as it was to try a new dentist, I am well pleased.  This is a small dental practice, one dentist, one dental hygienist and one receptionist.  This is NOT a big, corporate, sketchy place.   Speaking of sketchy, I received her brochure in the mail one day (the one pictured on her Yelp page).  I stopped by the office to give Dr. Tanios my opinion on the brochure.  I told her that I thought the brochure made her look like all the other sketchy, Western Dental, yucky dental offices that you would be afraid to go to.  I suggested to her that she no longer mail out brochures that look like that.  I told her that she needs to make her advertisements look classy and professional.  She took no offense to my suggestions, in fact, she was so gracious in listening to my thoughts that she sent me a thank you card in the mail, along with a Starbucks gift card.   If you are looking for a dentist for yourself or your children, don’t be hesitant to give Dr. Tanios a try.  I was hesitant at first, but now I feel comfortable putting our mouths in her qualified hands, or vice versa I suppose;)

After ignoring my teeth for some time, I finally made a decision to see a dentist.  I found Dr Tanios who happened to be nearby and had great yelp reviews. After confirming she accepted my dental plan, I scheduled an appointment.  Dr Tanios was professional and friendly.  After an x- ray and visual exam, she concluded I only needed a deep cleaning – no cavaties or root canals.  Half of my mouth was done that day, the other half a few days later.  My teeth and gums feel great now. I knew I grinded my teeth during sleep but didnt mention it to her.  She saw the evidence and recommended a night guard. I agreed. I referred my wife to Dr Tanios and soon the rest of my family.  I’m glad I found her.

I live in the Whittier area and was due for my annual dental check, my grandma was also experiencing pain, so i brought her with me last minute and dr. Tanios was more than accomodating! (Side note: she does saturday and late afternoon appointments which is perfect for myself who works m-f). I received a flyer for Dr. Tanios and decided to give her a try as she stated on her flyer she is gentle, and i needed gentle hands when it comes to someone working in my mouth. She is exactly what she has claimed herself to be! She is extremely sweet and so gentle, she is completely honest and caring. I have never had a dentist be so detail-oriented and take their time. She would literally stop every so often and ask if im doing ok, and how I am doing. She was so kind and i honestly didn’t feel a thing! She was beyond sweet, patient and kind with my 74 year old grandmother. My grandma was so comfortable and left feeling no pain. Best experience with a dentist ever! I highly recomend Dr.Tanios. Her office is also extremely clean and organized. The exam rooms are welcoming, with natural light through the windows, extremely clean as well. The waiting room is most adorable, comfortable and feels like someone’s welcoming living room with great taste! I love the personal feel when it comes to any doctor i go to, which includes the office. She is most definitely my new found life long dentist.

I simply cannot say enough about Dr. Tanios. I have never had a dentist who is so genuinely interested in my well being. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and evident in every aspect of the practice she has built. Her staff was welcoming from the second I walked in, and knowledgeable to every aspect of my visit and question I asked. Dr Tanios explained every aspect of my visit and there was zero pressure when she had recommendations. She explained them thoroughly, explained why, and made me feel empowered to make the decision. I never thought I would feel catered to in a dentist office, but Dr Tanios has built a phenomenal atmosphere and staff. We are beyond glad to have her as our dentist!

Had a wonderful experience at Dr. Tanios’ office this past weekend!!  The office is clean and charming, and the staff is super nice and caring. Most importantly,  Dr. Tanios proved herself to be a kind, caring, and professional dentist. She was also very personable and genuine.  She performed my initial treatment plan and was very thorough in addressing all my dental needs. I felt confident and reassured that she was going to do what’s best for me. Above everything else, my exam was painless!!  Definitely look forward starting my treatment and getting that healthy smile!!   Thank you Dr. Tanios!!

Dr. Tanios is delightful. Not only is she so kind and sweet, but she is amazing at what she does. She truly has a magic touch, and does an excellent job at making sure the patient is comfortable And satisfied. She is also very detailed oriented and takes the time out to explain all of the work she’s doing, which is important to me. So glad I found her. Excellent doctor! She is an excellent dentist and wonderful person. You could not hope for a better dentistry clinic. She is highly knowledgeable, passionate about her work, easy going, caring, very friendly, and has a great smile of her own to boot! Her staff is also friendly, professional, and caring. I highly recommend this doctor’s office in the most general and specific terms.

My husband and I make the drive from Corona to see Dr. Tanios! I have completed 2 cleaning and just started Invisalign. The staff here is so kind and make you feel right at home. I have only had one cavity and she was able to fill it right away. I am excited to see my results with Invisalign!

After having a bad experience with my previous dentist, I thought I would give Dr. Tanios a chance and I am so happy that I did. Dr. Tanios is professional, helpful, talented, kind, and gentle. Dr. Tanios and her staff are top notch. Her front desk staff are professional, courteous, and friendly. I called and they got me in for a visit the next day. Dr. Tanios was nothing short of fantastic. She made sure I was comfortable during my exam and procedure and explained everything which I really appreciated. When I came back for my follow up, she again was able to squeeze me in and then got me in and out quickly without missing a beat. Overall really great experience and she’s definitely my go to dentist in Whittier from here on out.

Dr. Tanious and her staff are AMAZING! From the second I walked in I felt welcomed and knew I was in good hands.  Dr. Tanious explained everything before she started working.  She is very detail oriented and made sure I was comfortable during the visit no matter what. During my first visit I had a tooth pulled and procrastinated going because I knew it was going to be painful and I had not seen a dentist  in years.  Dr. Tanious made me feel at ease during the visit start to finish. (It wasn’t as bad as I thought thanks to Dr. Tanious) I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Tanious!

I had an emergency toothache and Dr. Tanios and staff were so nice and accommodating to help me out with my problem. She was able to diagnose the problem and extraction was best course for my wisdom tooth. Her and her staff prepped me and it only took less than 10 minutes to pull the tooth out. Everything went very smooth and fast. Highly recommend this lovely office to anyone and everyone!

I went to see Dr. Tanios today for a check up and a cleaning. I hadn’t seen a dentist in 4 years and I ended up needing a deep cleaning and two crowns. Dr. Tanios explained everything to me and made everything clear. Her office is warm and accommodating, highly recommend Dr. Tanios as a dentist!

I have been seeing Dr. Tanios for several years now for my dental care. I even followed her from the other office she was working at! Dr. Tanios truly has a passion for dentistry and patient care. She’s a very conservative dentist and will not do any unnecessary dental treatment you don’t need. She takes her time to explain things and will answer any questions you have. She’s very efficient, detail oriented and you can tell she’s a perfectionist. She’s also VERY gentle and makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the dental procedure.  Her staff are also very sweet and nice and take every effort to make sure you are having a wonderful dental experience. This is truly a gem of a dental practice in the city of Whittier! I have referred my family members, colleagues and friends to her and they were grateful!!

Let me preface this review by saying I’m deathly afraid of visiting the dentist! I’ve been avoiding doing so for YEARS. My cousin referred me to Dr. Tanios, and assured me I’d be in good hands. I was hesitant but decided it was time to be an adult and bite the bullet. Upon entering the practice, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and told to fill out some forms. After doing so I was quickly taken back for x-rays. Dr. Tanios is super kind, compassionate and detailed in her work! I didn’t know what to expect but she assured me whatever the out come of the xrays we’d take it one step at a time! After reviewing my x-rays (no cavities woohoo!) she suggested I needed a cleaning. I have never seen a dentist so thorough in all my years. Dr. Tanios made sure to explain to me step by step what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I left with a smile on my face and even booked an appt  in six months! What can I say, Dr. Tanios has made me a believer. Make an appointment, you won’t regret it!
