Had to write a review because this office deserves 10 stars, seriously. Dr. Phipps is the most caring, compassionate, patient dentist I’ve ever been to. His staff is just as fabulous; super knowledgeable and kind. His hygienist is stellar and always does a thorough job with my cleanings. His receptionist is warm and knows what she is doing. My daughter has a fear of dentists and doctors and has panic attacks when she even thinks of going. They were so patient with her, didn’t push her and allowed her to calm down. They explained everything to her with warmth and care so that she actually came home and said “I love them so much there, I’m actually not as scared to go next time”. !!! One dental assistant actually sat with her and held her hand and played her favorite music for her. I have never seen any dental office do this before. The reason she was so scared was she had been to many other dentist offices that pushed her to get her done and just didn’t care. I will never go anywhere else as long as they are around! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thank you for being the awesomest dental office ever! 🙂

I went to a different dentist in Auburn (I’m not going to name him to be nice) to have a crown put on and he was in the middle of grinding my tooth down when I said it hurt. He said “Well, I’m just going to patch it up and send you home if you can’t handle it”! I was in shock! With my partially ground down tooth slapped back together with a bumpy patch, I searched for a while for a new dentist that hopefully had some compassion and offered sedated dentistry. I found Dr. Phipps. He was so nice, and he did some awesome work! I can’t believe how professional and what a great and thorough job he did! He went above and beyond what I expected. He is an artist and deserves an award for his expertise and compassion! Karen at the front desk is wonderful as well. There is no reason to be afraid to go to the dentist anymore!

Mr. Phipps DDS has been taking care of my teeth for almost 10 years now. Let it be known that Mr. Phipps is the best dentist Ever! He does a superior job fixing chipped teeth! His staff is amazing! I just love Michelle, Theresa and Erin! I live in Truckee and make the long commute to Auburn because his practice is second to none! Worth every penny and even if my insurance doesn’t cover all services, I still go to Mr. Phipps and use my Care Credit. Very honest and friendly.

I have been Dr. Mark Phipps’ patients for the past three years. He is especially receptive and knowledgeable, offering choices for treatment and noticing small changes over time that need attention. His office staff and dental hygienists are so courteous and efficient. Although not anyone’s favorite place to be, I prefer be in Dr. Phipp’s dental chair when it is time for my regular dental check-up!

Dr. Phipps and his staff are awesome. I was visiting town from the northeast and had a major dental issue on the flight to Calif. I walked into his office at random (no reviews no recommendation no appointment). Within minutes I was getting seen. I think Dr. Phipps used his lunchbreak to see me. I was treated like a long term customer. Dr. Phipps was efficient but meticulous. You can tell he takes pride in his craft even knowing that I would be on a flight home to Massachusetts in a couple of days. I never write reviews but I was so impressed with the professionalism and compassion of both Dr Phipps and his staff that I had to tell the world for whatever my two cents are worth. Dr. Phipps truly represents the very best of his profession. THANK YOU.

A great dental office. I was impressed with the office on many levels. I was especially impressed with the time Mark Phipps (the dentist) took with me to address my issues and ensure the work was done correctly. The work was flawless and he fixed issues caused by other dentists that were not so good. I’ve had some good dentists and some nightmares, he was great.
