I’ve been a patient of Dr Waind (and Sound Dentistry in general) since mid-2017.  Both Dr Waind and Dr Lee have given me new fillings (replacing previous-dentists’ old, failing fillings) and dental exams.  Between these dentists, the dental technicians who have performed my cleanings, and the front office staff, I can say without hesitation that these are the best dentists I’ve had in my 49 years.  Always professional and NEVER a hint of pain, the personnel at Sound Dentistry continue to have my appreciative business and my friend-referrals!  A+++ in every aspect.

Great looking office, state of the art equipment in a calm soothing setting. The music in the reception area is probably the best waiting room music I have heard anywhere. The staff is great, the receptionist is friendly and welcoming. The dental assistants are easy to talk to and friendly and the dentist is very thorough when explaining what he’s doing and discussing your options.

Thank You all so much…..Hadn’t been to a DDS in 10yrs due to bad experience so Happy to Say I Found My New Dentist you guys took away all my anxieties and made me feel relaxed and cared for!! I am recommending you to ALL my friends and family!!!

I just moved to Seattle and was in need of a new dentist. I picked them because they were in walking distance from my job but they were a great choice! They were super friendly and very thorough. The dental team was exceptional and they took great care with my teeth cleaning. The hygeniest even tried her best not to pinch my gums when they were taking xrays. I would definitely recommend them to a friend and i will be happy to go back for another check up!

I love this practice! Everyone who works here is super friendly. The staff will provide helpful tips on how to improve your oral health, and it always comes from a compassionate place instead of a judgmental one. The staff genuinely cares about their patients and what they do. I never wait more than a minute or two to get in for a scheduled appointment, so while the waiting room is nice, I never spend any time there. I’ll continue to visit for my dental needs as long as I live in Seattle!

I’ve never been happier with an experience at a dentist appointment. From start to finish, I felt comfortable and respected. Professional but personable. Every other patient interaction I over heard was so friendly. They really genuinely care about their patients. Every member of the team I encountered was so kind and accommodating. I’m never going to another dentist ever again!!!

I had to go in for a crown today – never a fun thing to do. I’ve had several done before over the years but this was by far my best experience ever. Dr. Waind used just the right amount of novocaine (didn’t leave me numb for hours and hours afterwards – but never felt any pain at all. His assistant Shawn was really good too – friendly and professional. I also liked being able to go in at 7:00 so I could beat the traffic. Great experience and highly recommended.

Just moved to Seattle and had my first visit to a dentist in a while (longer than I care to admit). Everyone was friendly, but more importantly, super knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. I left with my teeth feeling better, a clear understanding of my risk areas, and next steps on issues. All in all- super great. And glad that I have found a dentist here in Seattle!

I love coming in to see the staff, everyone is so nice and personal, even at the front desk. The office is very clean and I am always pleased with how I am treated when I come in and I feel I am getting the best care. Dr. Waind and his staff are always flexible with my changing schedule and that is greatly appreciated. Thank you all for making going to the dentist a pleasant one!

I was just in on Tuesday for a long over due teeth cleaning/check up. The office is wonderful and the staff are great. Especially the receptionist, Christina. After my awesome teeth cleaning with Shiloh, Dr. Waind came in to check for any changes with my teeth. He is both friendly and professional. Moreover, he was a great choice to replace my dentist for over twenty years, Carol Loe. Highly recommend, Mark Waind, DDS.

Mark and Staff are absolutely amazing!  I loath going to the dentist but seeing Mark is something I now look forward to. I had a less than good experience at previous dental office so my guard was up.  The level of kindness, care and quality of work are at a level of perfection. If I could leave a 5+ star rating I would. I feel like apart of their family now!  I recommend Mark with the highest regard!

I was trying to find a new dentist in the Tacoma area, and accidentally called sound dentistry and set up an appointment. as the appointment got close they sent me a reminder. So being fairly new to the area I looked up the address on google and to my surprise it was in Seattle. I figured what the heck and went anyway. This was the biggest mistake I could have made. The staff was wonderful and made me feel very relaxed through the entire appointment, Unfortunately with my job in south Tacoma it is almost impossible to set an appointment and be gone all day due to travel time, so I decided to find a dentist closer to home. I have not had good luck with dentists in the past and I feel it will be almost impossible to get the same experience and level of care that Sound provided.I encourage anyone that is looking for a dentist in the Seattle area to give them a call. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you to the staff at Sound D and even after just one appointment you will be missed.

Friendliest staff. No wait time and I was in and out within the timeframe they gave me. Answered all of my questions with patience and made me confident in the dental care I was receiving. I’m even more motivated to floss! Would highly recommend Dr. Waind’s office, and feel lucky to have found them my first time searching for a dentist in Seattle.

They say that in life only two things are certain, death and taxes. However, if you are lucky enough to experience the care and attention to detail of Dr. Waind and his team of super duper dental hygienists, you may have to add great dental care to that list. Every time I go in for a cleaning or service, I feel like I have stumbled upon some secret that life-long Seattle-ites have yet to discover. If you’ve never in your life imagined saying “Yes! I get to go to the dentist today!”, I wouldn’t hesitate to give Sound Dentistry in Seattle a call.

Let me be clear, I HATE going to the dentist. However, this office was amazing. All the parts of the appointment I dread, the cleaning, the poking my gums and saying 1234, were all MUCH LESS TRAUMATIC here. The dental hygienist was GREAT. Gentle, constantly checking in and very concerned for my comfort. Dr. Waind was also kind, gentle and conservative. Unlike a lot of dentists, he didn’t tell me he wanted to just REDO my whole mouth. Will go back. Will not cry. Much recommend.

I have avoided going to the dentist for probably ten years – Dr Waind and his team of awesome assistants and hygienists (Sherry!) made my check up and cleaning literally painless. I would recommend them to any person nervous about returning to dental care after a hiatus or for a regular visit. I’ll be back next month to take care of the one filling issue they identified. They’ll also validate parking in the building or Pacific Place.

I had been a patient for Dr. Waind when he was located up north a bit ago.  Sadly, I moved to CA but have recently moved back up to the Pac NW in Portland.  Even though it’s a 3hr drive from PDX to SEA I surely am going to once again visit Dr. Waind (mind you, I have other things to do also when in Seattle).  He is AMAZING and has always surrounded himself with HIGHLY qualified and friendly staff.  WELCOME ME BACK IN WITH OPEN ARMS DR. WAIND!!

Easily the best dental experience I’ve ever had. This was my first visit. I was impressed by the entire staff! Everyone I met with including, reception, the dental assistant, hygienist and of course, Dr. Waind was professional and genuine. They even went above and beyond in working around my schedule today. Special kudos to Shilo who was super patient during my dental cleaning. She took the extra time to answer all my questions so I felt informed every step of the way and checked in with me frequently to make sure I wasn’t experiencing any discomfort. You can tell she’s attentive to her patients and really cares about their overall experience! Bonus: Their facility located in the South Lake Union/Downtown area is modern, up-to-date and in a nice building with a few cafes on the main floor!

I’d bet there are rewards but let’s face it, it’s gotta kind of suck to be a dentist. No one WANTS to come see you, people come to you quaking with fear and phobias, and you spend your skill in the tiny recesses of people’s mouths. I’m sure Dr. Waind has all those concerns but his calm demeanor and impressive skill make it worthwhile. He’s truly remarkable. He’s not too chatty but tells you what you need to know. He just replaced a deteriorating filling for me and for the first time ever, two hours post-novacaine and I’m not so numb that I can’t sip a cup of anything. Dr. Waind offers epi-free novacaine, headphones, and gas for those who need a little extra to calm down. While there’s no alternative to the singular sound of a drill in your mouth, his work is fast and it is good. His staff will do anything they can to make you comfortable, checking in with your wadded, untalkable mouth frequently but not too often. Dentists are expensive. No way around that. But Dr. Waind is worth it. He’ll give you a discount for paying same day and offers free garage parking, not somewhere down the block, but in the building. I feel secure knowing I have a good dentist for life.

Melanie and Dr. Waind did a great job of taking care of me today! I had a filling for my very first cavity and I got lot of extra attention and a very accurate description of what was going to happen and what I could expect. I plan on coming back to this office for my annual cleaning and some invisaline. Thanks again!
