Always hated going to the dentist, but I had a cracked tooth, so what do you do?  I was dreading having my tooth removed.  My parents recommend Dr Tong in their area and said it would be worth the long drive, plus I could visit them afterwards for dinner.  Mom said he recently opened his own office and that it was really nice and modern.  The office manager was able schedule me later in the day as an emergency case…probably due to my whining about the pain.  The office is located right off the 5 Fwy in a nice dental complex, not too far from my parent’s place.  Dr Tong and his personable staff greeted me like an old friend. He put me at ease and promptly fix my tooth and it looked great, but better yet, the pain was gone.  During the examination, he mentioned that I had a cavity that I should keep an eye on, but made no attempt to sell me the service.  Oh yeah, I need to do a little better job of bushing my back molars.  No pain, but plenty to gain.  No more nightmares about evil dentists wanting to pull out all your teeth with a pair of rusty pliers!  Got a free cup of fresh brewed joe and bottle of water to go.

Best Dental office ever!! From the moment you open the door to the office you are greeted by the staff that makes you feel like you have known them forever.  Dr. Tong is very professional, kind and always checking to make sure I am comfortable when examining my teeth..  Ashley Dr.Tongs Dental Hygienist is always concerned about the welfare of her patients when doing her exams and cleaning your teeth.. She is educated, kind, and gentle when working on my mouth. She is a great asset to the Dental office!

Dr. Tong and his team are the absolute best! I was so happy to find that he opened his own practice. I’ve had several bad experiences with other dentists which have left me very anxious about getting any needed work done. Dr. Tong always makes sure that I am comfortable and puts me at ease instantly. He is honest, kind, and never tries to up-sell me on unnecessary expensive procedures. I wouldn’t trust anyone else!

I had a dental emergency during COVID, so I was concerned.  My previous dentist retired, so I went on a referral from a friend.  Dr. Tong and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease.  The office was immaculate and the staff were friendly and highly professional.  I will be back.

My family have been patients of Dr. Tong for over 25 years.  We are so glad to see he has a new office in Santa Clarita and can continue to see him.  The office staff is wonderful and the care Dr. Tong has provided has been nothing short of excellent.  He always takes the time to explain what he is going to do and discuss various options.  I have referred friends and coworkers, something I don’t normally do unless I feel the service is exceptional.

Clean office… very friendly staff… was a referral and I’m so glad I went! Dr. Tong is very professional but also a nice warm person! I recommend this office to anyone who has any reservations about going to the dentist!

Dr. Tong is great and very gentle. He always explains whatever procedure is needed and goes over your options. I needed a cavity filled and he started my crown. My comfort level was always important as he continually asked if I was ok and if I needed a break. In the past I have seen Ashley who cleans my teeth. She is wonderful and very gentle as well. The office staff, especially Becky, is always friendly and helpful.  I would recommend Dr. Tong and his staff if you are looking for a new dental office. The office environment is one of patient needs are a top priority.

I was referred by a friend to come here a year ago and I have never felt more comfortable. Dr. Tong is gentle and sweet. And the girls are amazing! I have never felt so comfortable at a dentist office. I highly recommend anyone to come here! They work with you and are affordable as well. They are AMAZING!

I go “out of network” for their care because you just can’t cut corners on the friendly, helpful service (Becky) they offer along with the high quality care (Dr Tong & Autumn). Plus, where else can you go to the dentist and leave feeling like you’ve just visited friends? Highly recommended.

I never write Yelp reviews, so to do so means I am very passionate about what I am writing. Our family has a long history with Becky, the office manager, from her previous dental office. We became unhappy with the new ownership there, and learned that Becky was working here with Dr. Tong – also from the previous office. Today was our first visit here, and I could not be happier. My daughter, who last left the previous dentist’s office begging me not to make her go back there, was delighted with Dr. Tong and his staff. Thank you for making my job as a mom easier! We look forward to many many years with your office.

Dr. Tong has been my dentist for 20 years. I have always been impressed with his professional expertise, coupled with a positive and very kind manner. His team, including Becky and Autumn, are wonderful too. I highly recommend this excellent dentist and his great team. Jane B

We had an appointment this week and it was nice to see the extra precaution they are all taking. Once again, I can’t tell you enough how awsome everyone is at this office. Everyone should be this lucky to have a Dentist like this! Dr Tong is wonderful, honest and the best. His staff is kind, caring and laugh along with us at the jokes to make this a great visit, which is always stress free! Thank you for taking care of me and my family.

Dr. Tong and his staff have maintained the art of customer service. I was leaving for a vacation on Saturday morning, and my temporary crown came looseThursday evening. When I called after normal business hours, fortunately they were still in the office, and they made themselves available to repair the crown immediately. I really have a time going to the dentist, and always have. Probably a childhood bad experience?? I needed a new dentist because mine was retiring. My son and his family were going to Dr Tong, at a multi dental office, at the time, and they highly recommended him to me. I’m always skeptical, regardless of a recommendation, but decided to give him a try.  Best move of my life, and I have gone to a lot of dentists over my 73 year long lifespan. He is very gentle, through, and has never been pushy on doing any kind of unneeded dental work, and he has been in practice for many years, so he knows and is up on all dental procedures, and he and his staff (Becky and Autumn, Anna, and all of his hygentists), have been great. I always feel at ease with them, and they are there to help you through any procedure, and have always answered any question or concern I might have.  I have had regular teeth cleanings, x rays, crowns, fillings and all the needed maintenance to keep my teeth in tip-top shape. Wish I would have posted sooner, as I have been going to him for years now, but now that he has a private practice decided to write a review, (plus I just got my teeth cleaned today, so it is fresh in my mind. Have to remember I am a bit older and a little forgetful. Lol). If you find yourself in need of a dentist, you won’t be disappointed, and he treats children all the way up to seniors.   He is located on Tourney in the huge dental building so he is centrally located in SCV.

I had gone to my previous Dentist for many years, however the drive became much too long. Dr Tong and his staff were recommended and they were right….he’s awesome! His staff is warm and receptive and human! You get the feeling that Dr Tong and his staff enjoy working together and make sure you enjoy your experience there. The staff is good at evaluating and diagnosing your needs very well. Dr Tong and his Hygienists do a great job taking care while making your teeth look great! Great job, thanks to you and your staff!

I must say I am impressed with Dr. Tong & his staff. I am someone that hates going to the dentist. Each time I have gone to Dr. Tong for work his staff has done an amazing job making me feel comfortable & getting me to laugh. A big plus for me is Dr. Tong isn’t overly aggressive. He takes his time & is gentle with his work…which I really appreciate. I highly recommend Dr. Tong & his team any day!!

A dentist visit gets no better than this. This is how every doctor’s office visit should be like. Everyone makes you feel at ease. You can feel that Dr Tong is a person that loves what he’s doing. And the office staff of Becky & Autumn just makes it feel like one big happy family. Thank you for your service.

I was so happy to find Dr. Tong and his team. Everyone who works at this office has such a positive attitude and is always willing to help. It was nice to find a dentist who is honest and not just trying to make money. Dr.Tong always recommends what is best for you not what is best for his wallet. He genuinely cares about his patients. Not only is he awesome but his hygienist Ashley is amazing as well. She is wonderful at cleaning teeth and will leave your teeth remarkably clean, while chatting with you and distracting you to make the whole experience even better. Yes, I said “experience” at the dentist office because you almost forget you are at the dentist. Last, but definitely not least Becky is always so helpful and accommodating she is very knowledgeable and always there to help you. This is not your typical dentist office they are warm, friendly and inviting.

I drive all the way to Santa Clarita to see Dr. Tong. But more importantly to have my teeth cleaned by Ashley, the hygienist. She is amazing, and fun. Ashley makes the appointment fly by, making it easy and painless. It’s the best experience I have ever had at the dentist.

This is the most amazing office. From the staff to Dr. Tong, they communicate well and keep it simple. It took at great deal of time for me to find a good dentist and Dr. Tong and his staff far exceed that expectation. The moment you walk in they are friendly and caring. Dr. Tong is the only dentist that my husband will visit on a regular basis.  I am so glad that we found him again after the previous dental facility where we went to sold out and Dr. Tong didn’t stay with them.  The new business is completely modern and welcoming.  The staff is first rate and friendly.  In fact, Dr. Tong’s business is closer to our home than the previous one which is an added plus.
