My letter of appreciation to Dr. Massol, I have always had a crippling fear of visiting the dentist. I mean fear that leaves me with sweaty palms and clammy feet. This all changed when I met Dr. Massol. She is kind, gentle and takes the time to really assess her patients’ needs. She was so endearing when she asked me to make a “smile wishlist.” I did just that and she said, “We will make these wishes come true.” I always feel so welcomed whenever I visit the office and I have never once had to wait. In fact, the lobby is always clear of patients – a testament to the fact that she truly values and respects her patients’ time. Dr. Massol never double books or worse, runs late. The office is clean, quiet and presentable. Rosa, her assistant is caring and will always ask about my family. Dr. Massol and Rosa saw me as a whole person. Not only did Dr. Massol fix my smile, but she fixed my sadness. Sadness that came about when I was alone staring into the mirror and wishing for a prettier visage. Now, after Invisalign and Dr. Massol’s genius I have a pretty smile, my profile has changed and my teeth look amazing. I am so overjoyed with my results that were it not for my ears getting in the way, my new smile would wrap all the way round my head. Thank you Dr. Sonia Massol and team!

Dr. Massol and Rosa at the front were absolutely excellent. I found the practice on Yelp when I decided I wanted to give myself a Christmas present – teeth whitening! This type of procedure definitely falls into the “luxury” and “treatyoself” category of things to buy, so I turned to Yelp to make sure I was spending my money wisely. The great reputation and reviews are what drew me in, and these raves are well-justified. You’re welcomed with nice smelling candles, a plushly-cushioned bench at the front, and Rosa! Dr. Massol very thoroughly explained the procedure to me and that there was a risk of it hurting, as well as all of the protective measures she’d be utilizing to make sure it was as pain-free as possible. I feel like she very clearly set expectations for what the procedure would be like and followed through with her level of attention to me! During the procedure I got to watch Netflix (“New Girl”!) and they gave me a whiteboard to write on incase I needed anything. The follow-up steps were clearly outlined – don’t have any food of color for about 3 days (beets, coffee, red wine, salsa, etc) because that could stain the teeth you’ve just worked so hard to brighten! It’s been 3 months and I’m still incredibly happy with my results.

Dr. Massol is outstanding!! I was in NY visiting family for the holidays and had a dry socket from wisdom teeth extraction the week before. What my oral surgeon said “would fix itself eventually” turned out to be an excruciatingly painful infection that was getting worse and worse. Dr. Massol fit me in and took such good care of me and I can’t recommend her enough. A couple specifics: The office: absolutely state of the art. She has really comfortable, high tech chairs and everything is completely sterile and pristine. Her assistant: Grace is the sweetest, warmest, most wonderful assistant. Along with Dr. Massol she makes you feel really comfortable and at ease. The anesthesia: I am NOT a fan of needles to having to be numbed up makes me pretty antsy. I don’t know how she did it but I could barely feel the injection. To me, that’s a sign that Dr. Massol is both an excellent dentist and has a high level of patient empathy because she wants to make your experience as painless as possible. 3 cheers for Dr. Massol, I just wish I lived in NY so I could see her as my normal dentist!! If you live here please do!

Dr Sonja Massol and her dental assistant Grace are wonderful. I have been seeing them for 2 years now and I can’t speak more highly of my experience. Dr Massol redid my bonding and it looks really natural. I also love our conversations when I go in. They are just really great people, and somehow they remember what was going on last time I saw them and we always pick up the conversation where we left off. I am now moving to SF and still scheduling my cleaning for next time I visit NY. It doesn’t get much better than this office..

Dr. Massol is absolutely amazing! Kind, patient, courteous, always greets you with a smile, and is great at what she does. She has a clean, well-kept office, and an exceptionally pleasant dental assistant who keeps you sufficiently up to date. Dr. Massol will work with your schedule even if you have to come early/late or even cancel. As for her actual work, she has turned my under bite in you a beautifully perfect smile. I have already recommended many of my colleagues to her. I honestly can’t think of one negative thing to say about Dr. Massol and her practice. She’s perfect!
