I recently moved to Boston to New York. My husband found Masterpiece Dentistry at Copley and recommended it to me. I was able to get an appointment for cleaning and consultation very quickly. I left the office feeling great, and taken care of. Everyone from Karen at the front desk, to Cathy who did my cleaning to Dr. Pappas made me feel so comfortable. They were all very pleasant and thorough. Thank you for providing great services.

I’d chipped my tooth, on Friday, and because I did’t have a great experience with my last dentist, I had to google for a new dentistry. I came across Masterpiece Dentistry after searching and calling around for two days. Their reviews on google lead me to call. I called on a Monday and was booked an appointment for the very next day, Tuesday. The experience, started with Karen, she took my call with care and so much concern (like a mother’s love) that it made me be at ease making the appointment and giving my information. Next, was the actually visit, I met Karen in-person and her smile matched her character, she greeted me by my name before I could even clear the door. Then, I met Laurie, one of the hygienist, she was just as nice and welcoming. At this point, I was very comfortable and had felt I made the right choice in coming here. Laurie talked me through each step while gently cleaning my mouth. Lastly, Dr. Pappas, the icing on the cake, like his team he was just as friendly (if not more). My anxiety was decreasing by the seconds. (Did I mention I have had some bad experiences in the past with dentists.) The procedure ended up being quick and painless, my smile was restored! Laurie and Dr. Pappas work so well together. I was so pleased with the visit that I instantly knew I would be returning for regular routines. Thank you, Masterpiece Dentistry!

I have been seeing Cathy and Dr. Pappas for a couple of years now and I absolutely adore them. Cathy is the best hygienist I have ever been to as she is thorough, detailed, and gentle. Not to mention, she is a joy to be around and is always very complimentary of my teeth and dental habits (who doesn’t love that?). Karen in the front is always wonderful and I love that the staff never turns over. Having the same faces each time makes it much easier and gives a small town feel in Boston. Additionally they offer flexible scheduling. Finally, not enough great things to say about Dr. Pappas. He’s skilled, gentle, and fast. I grew up going to the same dentist for 18 years. After college I struggled to find one that I would want to see, and enjoy seeing on a regular basis. Lucky for me, I found that here.

I have been traumatized by dentists in the past and have been searching for a dentist to call “the one” for a while. The instant I stepped into Masterpiece Dentistry my nerves were put at ease by the kind and welcolming staff. This is the best experience I have ever had at a dentist office and I highly recommend it.

As always the experience (cleaning this time) was pleasant and painfree. Every time I come here I feel like all the people in the practice care about me and my well being. They’re highly professional, good humored, and when they’re working on me, I know I’m in good hands. The office staff is also very helpful in working with my insurance providers and making sure I get my senior discount – even if I forget!

I went for the first time today to originally get a second opinion and I’m positive I found my new dental home! Everyone from Karen at the front desk to Laurie the dental assistant to John Pappas the dentist made my visit go so smoothly. They were totally honest and explained everything in words that people not in the dental world can understand 🙂 I’d highly recommend!

Go Dr. Pappas and his team!! I have been going to Masterpiece Dentistry for about 10 years now and I was never disappointed! I love Dr. Pappas and his team’s honesty which I have not found in many other cases before. It is really easy to exaggerate and scare customers when it comes to dentistry but it never happened to me with Dr. Pappas! It is what it is and he tells you and explains everything to you!! They are super professional and friendly! As a fact, I live in Switzerland and travel the world for work (I’m a US resident so I travel to Boston very often) and I could go to many other dentists but my “official dentist” is Dr. Pappas! (I’m not sure yet after all these years if I’m also his favorite client but for sure, I’m the one who brings him the best chocolates! You can never go wrong with Swiss chocolates!!) 🙂

Dr Pappas and the friendly staff, go above and beyond to make my teeth and dental needs the best it can be. I am very impressed with their preventive screening when experienced professional were able to point out and catch new issues as they see it. The practise has large, beautiful and comfortable rooms, too.

Masterpiece Dentistry is one of the best dental practices I’ve used. Beyond being knowledgeable and thorough, they treat every patient well. You are greeted by name, they remember personal information about you, and explain procedures and options for your oral care needs. They were recommended to me by a colleague, and I highly recommend them to others.

This was probably the best dental experience I have ever had. Karen the receptionist was extremely prompt in answering my initial consultation email and was very quick to process all my information and set up an appointment. She was also very helpful in the transition from my old dentist over to Masterpiece. The real reason for my 5 star review is Cathy the hygienist. I have never met someone so passionate about their job, friendly, genuine, and skilled. At every step of the way she made me feel at ease and always explained what she was doing and that if I ever was uncomfortable, she would change her technique. After having gone through many painful cleanings I barely felt a thing and she was extremely thorough in making sure every tooth was cleaned to perfection. I can truly say I left the dentist office in a better mood than I had been all day and am so glad to have found one of the best practices in Boston!
