Love, Love, Love this place! and you would think by my enthusiasm I would be talking about a shoe store or restaurant, but no I am referring to a dentist. I had not been to the dentist in at least 6 years and feared going and getting scolded or a lecture on how I need to make a better effort for caring for my mouth. So after moving to Austin, I said enough was enough and via a referral from my boyfriends brother, made an appointment at Matthew Horne, DDS. ATMOSPHERE: I walk in and the office is so clean and aesthetically relaxing. They see me right away, no long wait. They seat you in big comfortable dentist chairs and pull a little flat screen right above your view and hand you the remote. I love getting lost in the cooking channel. 🙂 My favorite part about sitting in the chair has to be the view. You are facing a wall of reflective glass windows that offer a beautiful view of downtown and the rolling hills. THE PEOPLE: Contrary to what I was expecting after not going to the dentist for some time, I was not scolded or lectured for all the red wine and coffee I drink. In fact I was told they would never tell me not to drink coffee because they are coffee drinkers. Brownie Points!! These have to be some of the nicest people ever. I actually look forward to my visits because I feel like I’m just hanging out with some girl friends, but I’m actually getting my teeth cleaned. Becca in particular always makes a point to come by and say hi whenever I’m in, so sweet of her. Dr. Horne is awesome as well, always friendly and does such a great job. I highly recommend Dr. Horne!!

This place is the best dental office I’ve ever been to. I broke my teeth on concrete and without an appointment they told me to come right away…on a friday! The nurses were all super nice and friendly and made me feel really comfortable, even with a broken mouth. Dr. Horne was also able to fix my teeth very quickly and painlessly. I’m very pleased with how his work turned out. I even called several weeks later with a quick question and the receptionist even remembered my name!! If you don’t come to this office you’re making a terrible mistake. they even give you free drinks. (including expensive starbucks fraps

Let me explain to you my journey here at Matthew Horne and Associates. I had not visited a dentist for many years because I believed it was only necessary when I had a painful cavity. I researched many dentist and came upon Dr. Horne’s dentistry about 3 years ago. I am writing this review after being a long time patient of his and I am very happy to say that I have been treated with so much care and attention. My first step in this journey was to have a deep cleaning because I really needed it. My gums started being healthy like they were breathing again. I couldn’t be happier with how much better I felt. After that I had many cavities taken care of with Dr. Horne. After this point I was enjoying it too much like spa day. Not only do they make you feel very welcomed the place is so relaxing and modern. You feel like a VIP. Okay back to the procedures. What was my most life changing experience at Dr. Horne’s was the crown lengthening he performed on my front top teeth. I had always been embarrassed to smile because I had an extreme gummy smile. But he made me have the best smile I could ever ask for by removing gum tissue and exposing some amazing teeth that were hiding under. He really knows what he is doing. I could not believe how he changed my life so much and till this day I feel like a different person more confident and outgoing. I can laugh without covering my mouth. I have even perfected that smile with Invisalign. They helped me so much in this journey and going to see them makes me smile. I just have so much to thank them. I will always be a patient of Dr. Matthew Horne and Associates because they simply are the best in Austin and I feel so special every time I have to get my cleanings. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Horne as I was having tooth pain during lunch one day. Little did she know I was extremely anxious when it came to going to the dentist and it had been quite some time since my last visit. My previous dental experiences have impacted my life in a negative way and I simply opted not to go until it was necessary. I was traumatized from my previous experiences and to say I was a challenging patient when I initially went to Dr. Horne is an understatement – I felt like a cat about to be thrown into water. I am thankful to Dr. Horne and his staff as they were all very understanding and accommodating during my initial visit. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable and understood exactly what they were about to do each step of the way. There were no surprises, they were efficient and professional. The office is very well designed, clean and almost feels as if you are going to a spa, not the dentist. The lounge waiting area has a fully stocked fridge with complimentary beverages and once I was called back they reviewed everything in detail with me. Before they started, I was handed a remote and given the option to watch and control the flat panel tv overhead as I relaxed in the comfy chair as my teeth were being worked on. I can say that I no longer have any tooth pain and am much more comfortable during my visits. I never thought I’d be happy to go to the dentist, but I am and I cannot thank Dr. Horne and his staff enough for taking such great care of me and my family. We will be returning for years to come…

Best Dental Office! I’ve had about four appointments with no issues in scheduling, payments, or treatment. I’ve seen Dr Horne, Dr Walton, Rebekah, & Tanya. The front desk, dental hygienists, and dentists have great personalities & have created a highly functional office. At the end of the visit you’re shown each code that is to be billed + your insurance’s estimated contribution + make your payment. If you do early morning appointments you get to see the sun rise with the Austin skyline. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Review is for the Circle C Location: After being afraid to go for a while, I checked these guys out online and went in for my first appt. They were very understanding of my fears and pain tolerances and never spoke down to me or lectured me. The entire staff was great and by the end of the appt. we were cracking jokes and they had completely put me at ease. The pricing was very reasonable and I was in and out fast with basically no waiting at all. I’m converted, these guys are fantastic

This was my first visit to Dr. Hornes office in Circle C. I had an appointment for me and my 5 year old daughter and it went smooth as could be. It was great that they scheduled us at the same time. Everyone is so nice. They had a TV for my daughter to watch cartoons on while they worked on her teeth which was nice. I also enjoyed watching ESPN. They had a gift bag for my daughter to pick from after her appointment and she got a voucher for a free frozen yogurt because she had no cavities. As good of an experience as you can expect going to the dentist. I highly recommend this office

There’s really nothing worse than having a dental emergency on a holiday when you’re new in town and don’t know where to go… i’m happy to report that when I called Dr. Horne’s office, the phone was immediately answered by a friendly and knowledgeable person who was able to get me in right away. It turned out that my “emergency” was just a bruised tooth, and my self-diagnosis from the internet was completely insane. But Dr. Horne didn’t make me feel stupid and didn’t recommend anything expensive or crazy. A less scrupulous person could have bilked me for many thousands of dollars in dental work. Honesty and care like this is hard to find, and because of this experience my family will definitely be coming here in the future

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Rebekah was super nice, and I feel like she was especially meticulous and did her best to keep it as painless as possible. The full mouth X-rays seemed never ending and can be uncomfortable, but Kim was quick and careful so I wasn’t in any discomfort longer than 15 seconds max. Dr. Horne was great and I felt all of his recommendations fit in line with my comfort level, and he was straight forward about being preventive and proactive going forward. My teeth look great and feel amazing! 5 Star all around, thanks for the great visit!

I have moved a lot and had many dental office experiences. Dr Horne and his office staff are exceptional. I have had two crowns done thus far in my life. The first was a bad experience, and a crown that had to be done twice. The crown Dr. Horne did for me was great. The experience was flawless and his staff was awesome. The crown fits perfect and I was hardly even sore the day after. Dr. Horne is the best… I only hope I can find a dentist like him in Ohio as we are moving very soon. I highly recommend Dr. Horne!

Am a new patient to Dr. Horne and staff. I had a bad experience with the previous dentist office I visited, who was mainly worried about charging for every little, tiny service. Dr. Horne and his staff…..OUTSTANDING! Very friendly, caring, knowledgeable. They suggested procedures that would actually save me $$. They have the top of the line diagnostic equipment and the top of the line staff. I did not have to wait and was treated as if I were the only patient there. Dr. Horne gave me information that no other dentist has done in trying to solve my problem. He gave me several options, suggesting the least expensive first. Finally!!! I found my dentist!
