I cannot say enough about this place! I had been referred to this office by my co-worker who raved about this dentist mentioning how efficient, modern and educational Dr. Taheri is. For starters, I am not one to go to the dentist willingly but I knew it was time to find a new office after my prior dentist could not accommodate my work schedule so I decided to give this place a try. The receptionist, Liz was so nice and helpful with all my questions to setup my appointment and patiently listened to my needs. On the day of my appointment, I was able to get a cleaning with the hygienist, Arissa who took the time to educate me on the importance of my overall oral health and did an amazing job on my deep cleaning that I am looking forward to my next visit with her to finish! I had my exam afterwards with Dr. Taheri. He took so much time explaining what would be best for my needs and how easy the process would be that I completed my crown that day! I couldn’t believe I was able to get everything done and even more shocked they had a machine that will complete my crown the same day!! Wowww!!! A super plus since I’m limited on time as is. I am so happy I found this gem of an office that I am recommending my family and friends to give them a try as well! You will not be disappointed if you’re looking for a great office with an amazing staff!

Dr Tahari has been treating my husband and I. He has treated us for the last couple of years. We are so pleased with his work. He has done Implants on my bottom teeth. I use to have the most embarrassing smile because of my teeth. He has taken care of my teeth and did a beautiful job. I am so happy that we found a dentist that cares 100 percent about the care he gives his patients. I am so proud of referring him to my friends and anyone that needs to have a great caring Dentist. My smile is beautiful thanks to the wonderful staff at May Dental. My husband and I are forever grateful we walked into his office. I hope if you need a dentist you will set up your appointment at his office.

Very nice office, nice staff and Dr. Taheri does great work! I hate going to the dentist, but this office is very calming and serene feeling, like a spa. A bit on the sterile-feeling side perhaps for kids (we’ll find a different pediatric dentist). Like most dentists, they tried to “upsell” me on some procedures that weren’t necessary, but weren’t at all pushy about it. I went for my annual cleaning, and another time for a repair to an old filling. I was very pleased with my experience having the filling repaired — normally I dread any time the dentist comes at me with tools, but Dr. Taheri and his staff were kind, and did a great job of making me comfortable and completing the procedure quickly and (relatively) painlessly.

“NO ONE LEAVES HERE WITHOUT A TOOTH”. I feel slightly emotional writing this long overdue review about Dr. Taheri and his amazing practice, May Dental. Maybe it’s because I’m pre-menopausal so bear with me. I found Dr.Taheri a few years ago after a botched tooth canal job on my then 14 or 15 year old daughter. Unfortunately I selected the closest dental place that took her state insurance – denti-cal. This is normally unlike me as the crazy, devoted and loving mom to 3 amazing people but I digress… either way it was horrible experience (but that’s just another review!). The ONLY great thing to come of that (yes, I’m a glass half full, not empty type of girl) was having to perform the initial missing due diligence and finding Dr. Taheri and his amazing staff! By the time we consulted with him on her botched tooth canal it was no longer salvageable and the word “malpractice” was being thrown out there by my legalshield attorney. So, that was the beginning of a valued family dentistry relationship with me and my 3 kids! So now fast forward to present. One of my front teeth broke off aka one of the teeth you can see clearly no matter what I’m doing broke off!!! While I don’t consider myself vain per se, I do take pride in the way I look and present myself and when this happened I CRIED then I texted Dr. Taheri on his emergency text number on a Friday night! I mean this WAS an emergency after all!!! He texted me right back!!! He is not normally opened on Saturdays but told me he’d see me there the following day. So, i did what any normal girl would do! I thanked him profusely including offering to name my next child after him – that is of course if I could even birth another one and then proceeded to camp out in front of his office door earlier then appointment time – definitely venturing on the edge of stalker status. This man is amazing. I was sitting in the chair and he’s bending over looking for something in a drawer while explaining my 2 different temporary options and he reassuringly adds, “don’t worry Josie, NO ONE leaves here without a tooth”. Oh man! I had to hold back tears! I was going to be okay and I wasn’t going to look like a crazy woman while I arrange getting an implant etc… I ended up selecting the clear tray option as seen in the photos. This man had to manually mold and prepare this tray – I apologize for the non-dental lingo but let’s just say I had to come back HOURS later to pick it up. I’m a nosy but very interested person in general – I mean knowledge is power right? So I had him explain the whole process when I went to pick-up the tray… and I knew then that the price he charged me was extremely affordable for all the work and time it took him. Dr. Taheri is a very humble and kind man but he doesn’t spend a lot of time looking for kudos so this is my only real way to thank him! So, if you’re looking for a family dentist, he is also a trained and qualified endodontic doctor and a graduate of NYU dental school – I’m a New Yorker, born and raised and I know that it’s NOT easy to get into NYU! I don’t want to neglect to mention that his staff is also the best! I especially love his dental assistant Edwin! He’s SO sweet too! My kids always have a great experience going there! Thank you Dr. Taheri for taking care of us so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is clean and well maintained. What a dental office should be. Dr. Taheri and his staff are excellent. The Dr is very soft and well spoken and makes the process much easier. I always loved going to the dentist but recently had an infection from a failed root canal from another office. I was very sad to lose a tooth but now that a couple months have passed, I feel so much better. There was no pain during the pulling process or at any time after. I also did Invisalign with Dr. Taheri. It was not for aesthetics (though he specializes and does that very well). It was for an incorrect bite and front gap. I am able to chew my food properly and have no more pain after waking up at night. As a bonus, my teeth really do look fantastic now. I wasn’t doing it for looks but my teeth look significantly better. I will always see Dr. Taheri as long as I live here because it is hard to find a dentist you can trust. Thanks!

I first went to this dentist office after called about 5 around Santa Clarita. Either those 5 did not have Saturday appointments or plainly never called me back. I nearly gave up. But one day in the mail I receive an ad for this dentist office so I thought I would try. When I called Mayo Dental the very first time, Lupe, the office manager I believe, firstly actually answered the phone unlike the other unnamed dentist offices. Since this was my first time using dental insurance, she took down all the information I could provide and she said she would call me back. Honestly, I thought it would take a week or so due to my luck thus far. She called back in 15 minutes with all the info in regards to my coverage etc!! I made an appointment right away.  My first appointment there was for xrays and an exam, Dr. Taheri noticed the decay in some of my teeth and offered fillings, without having to wait weeks for another appointment he did it right there at that time! I havent been to a dentist for about 10 yrs (when I had braces when I was younger) so I was very nervous about the fillings. He explained the process and any sensations I would have. As they set up for the procedure, I stayed in the chair and happily watched whatever I wanted on netflix. During the procedure, Dr Taheri was very attentive to any reason I felt I needed to take a break. He was very patient and kind. After procedure, he laid out a plan to relieve my periodontal disease as well as wisdom teeth extraction and invisilign. Now, let me say first he did not push anything on me. He explained everything well and I am the one who asked for invisilign. I was not pressured at all which also put me at ease. He showed me my teeth on xray as he explained everything very clearly. My appointments were set for wisdom teeth extraction (2 and 2, not all four at once because he noticed how tired my mouth gets), as well as a deep cleaning. When I went in for the extractions, they let me watch netflix after I received Valium, as I was very nervous. During the extractions, he explained what he was going to do so I would not be too shocked with unknown things happening in my mouth. After that procedure, I called 4 or so days later due to pain and he text me back! He was concerned and said he would take me in that very day. Since I had class, I didnt think I would be able to but he said he could take me at 8pm after my class. Just fantastic!! After he did whatever he needed to do, I am not a dentist but I think it was the meds for dry socket, I was pain free.  I went in today for my cleaning and like the other three times, the office staff and dentist techs and Dr Taheri all were pleasant as usual.  I rave about this office and all its staff to my family and co-workers and they think I am such an oddball to look forward to going to the dentist. When you have a great dentist and staff, then why not look forward to an appointment that will help your health of your teeth?!  Thank you everyone at Mayo Dental….I will see you soon

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Taheri’s for some months now & I’m always impressed by the amazing service I receive. Dr. Taheri is beyond thorough with his work & I am always confident in the treatment he recommends and provides. The office is always kept clean & I’m greeted with smiling faces the minute I walk in the door. The staff is friendly, considerate, and professional. I love going to May Dental & I recommend this establishment to everyone in the area. Tell them Penny sent you!

Mark Taheri, dentist at May Dental is the best, most knowledgeable, kindest and fairest dentist my family has ever gone to. First took my granddaughter, age 6, about 7 years ago. She has high excites , would scream and would not even let a dentist look in her mouth. Dr. Taheri was so patient and gentle with her, explaining each thing he was going to do, in such a soft and caring manner, he won her over. He always lets an adult stay in the room with a child, which I cannot say that for most dentists.He has since gained the business of 7 of our family members, and we all are very satisfied with this pain free dentist. His assistant is also wonderful

I can not begin to express how grateful I am for May Dental, Dr. Taheri and his staff.
They are my dental heros! No matter what I always have a wonderful experience every time I have visited this office. Dr. Taheri just extracted my wisdom teeth, I was a bit nervous but Dr. Taheri and his dental assistant made sure I was comfortable and at ease throughout the entire procedure. It was fast and essentially painless. I couldn’t believe how great of experience I had here as compared to hearing stories about other dental experiences with other dentists. They went above and beyond at May Dental what I could have asked for. I can’t wait to come back for my whitening next time!

Dr. Taheri and Staff are all top notch. We have never had a positive experience with a dentist in the past until we went to Mayo Dental and met Dr. Taheri.  We can tell you this much….you will not feel like cattle being pushed through.  Dr. Taheri takes his time, ensures you are comfortable and is genuinely caring about your comfort and the dental work he performs.  He took time to ensure that our impressions were perfect and that the temporary bridge was comfortable and looked great asthetically.  He was so gentle that I became so relaxed I think I fell asleep in the chair.  Wow, and we even received a phone call from the office to ensure that we are both doing well. My husband and I are both thrilled to finally find a dentist that is professional, caring, educated and most importantly strives to provide the highest quality work and service. If you are in need of a dentist, we highly recommend Dr. Taheri.   You will not be dissapointed!

I visited May Dental yesterday to get a second opinion on my tooth. A few weeks ago, I visited a dentist and did not have a great experience. I was referred to May Dental by a family friend. I have never been a fan of the dentist, especially after my expierience a few weeks ago.My fears started to disappear as I talked with the friendly staff. When Dr. Taheri came back and explained my X-rays and what I needed done, I knew I had made the right decision getting the second opinion. He explained everything in such great detail and even showed me on the X-ray and in my mouth what was happening. He was so gentle, I didn’t even feel the shot. Even when he was doing the work, I felt no pain. I left the office smiling which never happens and I am so happy with the work that was done. If you are looking for a great dentist, look no further!
