I have to say that I was a little hesitant to address my teeth at my age. I went for an initial consultation based on the reviews I found on yelp and the fact that they are less than a mile away from my home.  From the very beginning, the staff made me feel super comfortable. I really appreciated that they checked how to pronounce my name before just trying to butcher it upon check-in (it’s the little things). Everyone is so nice and polite and everyone wears Invisalign, which made me even more comfortable to move forward with my treatment. During my initial consultation I had X-rays taken, was given a brief tour of their office (which btw is so neat, clean and aesthetically pleasing), and I really loved their open concept. Some people may not like being out in the open, but for me it makes me feel comfortable knowing that there’s nothing to hide and everyone there is there for the same thing anyway (children and adults). Dr. McComb explained my options for treatment and answered all of my questions. I appreciated the “no pressure” approach: they didn’t harass me with emails, phone calls or correspondence in any form. I received 1 call, a couple of weeks after my consultation to ask me if I made my decision. Each time I’ve returned to the office I am always greeted with smiles and everyone there contributes to a positive, welcoming environment. I am happy to have chosen McComb Orthodontics.

McComb Orthodontics is fantastic! The office:  The office is located on busy Washington Blvd but there is parking in the garage or on the nearby streets. The office is super clean and modern. There’s always some great music on the playlist. Dr. McComb: he’s awesome!!!! He is very knowledgeable about his field and is such a personable man. I had the pleasure to meet Dr. McComb through my job. I work in CCUSD – Dr. McComb reached out to us and expressed an interest in becoming a community partner. He now offers free custom mouth guards to all of our student-athletes. And he has helped some of our students from low-income families, who otherwise would not have been able to even consider braces. When I met with Dr. McComb to discuss braces for my daughter, he gave us several options. He is never aggressive in pushing you into a specific treatment plan. He will work with you to make sure that you choose the best option for you. My daughter has been his patient for about one year now and we couldn’t be happier. The staff:  The staff are so warm and friendly. It really feels like you’re going to visit an old friend more than the orthodontist. Stephanie and Katie ALWAYS greet us with a smile and welcome us in. Stephanie gave us our initial tour of the office and walked us through their process. Then she worked with us to determine our payment plan. Katie keeps us on track by scheduling our appointments and sending reminders. And then there’s Lisette – she’s the clinical assistant who implements the treatment plan and she is my daughter’s favorite part of the visit. They are all so sweet and kind and they are very professional. They are a great orthodontic team. Don’t bother looking anywhere else…Dr. McComb is the best choice for orthodontics!

So it went something like this… Always hated my teeth, but love to smile. At the slightly more advanced age of 41, I decided it was time to do something about it. I went to a different Orthodontist first, who flagged my cross bite as a big issue that could only be fixed with surgery. Thinking, well that sounds hopeless, I set out to get a 2nd opinion. I stumbled across Dr. McComb on Yelp….And it was the luckiest Yelp discovery I’ve ever had. I kid you not, it’s the office that dreams are made of. The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. (I think it’s an actual prerequisite to be super sweet in order to work there.) Dr. McComb and the staff are extremely helpful and informative. The facility is very technologically advanced.  They worked with me on the Invisalign costs and a payment plan. It was more affordable than the first place AND I didn’t have to get surgery. They made the process not only painless, but an absolute pleasure. I’m nearly done with my Invisalign orthodontia adventure and can honestly tell you that I will miss seeing this team every six weeks. I might just go back occasionally for the flavored water, the warm atmosphere and the lovely staff members. And even more importantly, after years and years of loathing my teeth, I could not be any happier with the results of my new smile.  I finally LOVE everything about my smile, including the people who were involved in the process. Thank you to the entire team! 🙂 Yelpers…. Do yourself a favor… Young or old… If you’re contemplating orthodontia, please don’t look any further. Don’t even waste your time going anywhere else. You will not be disappointed!!!

My son started treatment with Dr. McComb about a year ago and we have had the BEST experience. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean the office is. It’s always spotless! The staff is always so welcoming and wonderful. When we started, they were upfront with all the fees and everything was incredibly transparent. When my son is getting work done, the assistants always explain every step and calm any anxieties. Dr.McComb himself is very down to earth and easy to talk to and is great at explaining the treatment process. We visited several other offices but this was the first one that worked with our schedule with late afternoon appointments and Saturdays! They are always super accommodating and flexible. Cannot recommend this office enough!!

every single person that works in this office is “bar none” the absolute BEST!!!! You need to look no further. We did invisalign with Dr. Ryan and his crew and they are the absolute greatest. It is like a spa for your teeth. We are identical twins and one of our teeth shifted (split in the middle) and not only did he get it all back in place, we both did it together and now our smiles/teeth are perfect and identical. They are the best in the business and they care the most, that’s what matters. Nothing but love and hugs and giant IDENTICAL smiles for these folks and this business.

A few months ago I became a new patient at McComb Orthodontics. Everyone is so nice, and always has the biggest smiles on their faces! I had braces before, but soon noticed that my teeth were shifting, so I decided to get invisalign, instead of metal braces. Dr.  McComb’s front desk staff Katie and Stephanie are very nice and helpful as well! His office is beautiful, not to mention very clean! In addition, my Clinical Patient Manager,  Suzy Chung, is the best and I love her! Thank you so much Dr. McComb and your staff for your great service!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. McComb – simply by far the best orthodontic experience of my life, and one of the top doctors/medical experts I’ve been fortunate enough to meet in my life as well. I had orthodontic jaw surgery, which was a very intense, and I could have not have made it through without Dr. McCombs’ brilliant expertise and his incredible ability to communicate so clearly and simply and make you feel empowered about your choices every step of the way. He is so patient, positive, excels at both detail and big picture, reassuring, wonderful with people however nervous you may be, and at the top of his field. He should give a TED talk. I would be very happy to speak or email with anyone considering going to his practice – my only tip is run, don’t walk, before he is booked up for good with a long wait list.

I had some jaw issues that needed to be corrected surgically, and braces were an important part of the process as I needed an orthodontist who could put my bite in an ideal position for my surgeon to work with and then fine-tune my bite after surgery. I met with multiple orthodontists with surgical prep experience who were either outrageously expensive, did not feel comfortable handling my case, and/or were uncooperative when dealing with my insurance. I ended up bringing a list of covered orthodontists to my surgeon, who immediately pointed me towards Dr. McComb, citing him as an incredible orthodontist, and I couldn’t agree more! From the initial consultation to where I am currently in post-op, Dr. McComb has proven not only to be an incredibly knowledgable and honest professional, but also a kind person who genuinely cares about his patients. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the entire team, as EVERYONE is so sweet and goes out of their way to help you! For example, my insurance initially assured me that I was covered for orthodontics, but later gave some pushback and I was facing the possibility of having to pay for everything myself. Amanda and Dr. McComb were absolute angels for going back and forth with my insurance company and going above and beyond to help me! THANK YOU!If it wasn’t already blatantly obvious, I would recommend McComb Orthodontics to anyone and everyone. The team is top notch and some of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and prices are competitive (plus they offer payment plan options and really sit down with you to find something that works for you)! ALSO, they have the comfiest chairs you’ll ever sit in, which makes braces adjustments just that much easier 🙂 .

Dr. McComb is simply the best. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough when it comes to developing a treatment plan. I had braces when I was a child, and like most people, I stopped wearing my retainers! My teeth have since shifted, but with my Invisalign treatment, my teeth are looking straight again… All thanks to Dr. McComb who is amazing in every way and clearly loves what he does. His staff are also super nice and accommodating. I can’t recommend their office highly enough. My little boy will be a future patient here once he’s old enough!

I’m nearing the end of my treatment and thought it was time that I finally give a shout out to my favorite office crew in town.   I did my research when it came to my Invisalign treatment, going to four different orthodontists to get estimates and an explanation of what would be needed to fix my teeth.  Since my upper jaw was very narrow, several of the doctors told me that only way to fix it would be with very costly surgery which included cracking my jaw and putting an expander with a screw in the roof of my mouth; not very appealing.  Dr. McComb was quick to suggest an alternative that would be included in the overall treatment and involved rubber bands and buttons (I’ll let him describe the details)  Needless to say, that was a much better solution and once I met his team, it was an easy decision to make them my choice.
18 months later and I couldn’t be happier with my results.  Everyone there is so professional and always in a good mood.  Amanda, my partner along my journey is always quick to respond to my questions when I’m away and she has been great.  Honestly, though, everyone that works there is top shelf.  I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend them to my family and friends. On a separate note, they also offer Orthopulse treatment that goes along with your Invisalign treatment and helps speed up the process by helping your teeth shift more easily with a wifi-enabled mouthguard that I put in for 10 minutes every morning.  Even more than shortening the timing though, the Orthopulse has helped me through the process without having any pain in my gums or teeth.  Every time I put in new trays for the first few months, my teeth would be sore and it would be hurt to chew harder foods.  Never had that problem again once I started with the Orthopulse a few months in.  It’s a sizable initial charge for the device but in hindsight, it was money well spent and would do it all again. Thank you Dr. McComb and team for being great partners on this journey towards a beautiful smile.  I’m so happy I chose you guys to come along.
