I went to McKenzie Dental for the first time for a cleaning. I was extremely pleased. The waiting area is spotless and patients are asked to brush with a pre-loaded tooth brush and rinse with hydrogen peroxide before going into the appointment. The hygienist was excellent and the dentist was excellent as well. I was very pleased with this practice and can highly recommend this practice.

I was visiting family in Eugene and had fork pain. McKenzie Dental made time for me the next day. Dr. Lee very patiently examined my tooth and went through options with me. We ended up doing root canal and it was so much less than the horror I had always heard of. Dr. Lee and his assistant, Carlos, worked so well that I had no tooth pain after. When the anesthetic injection didn’t hurt. After 4 days, there is still no need for pain killers and the tooth feels better than it has in years. I am incredibly impressed with the professionalism, personal interaction, and Dr. Lee’s mentorship of his assistant. I very strongly recommend McKenzie Dental and am grateful for their service. If I lived here, they would be my permanent dental office!

I switched to McKenzie Dental after being at my previous dentist for over five years. I was a little apprehensive, but was pleased after my first cleaning and interaction with Dr. Lee. That was a little over a year ago. Since then I have had my second cleaning and exam, and then got whitening trays. I came to this clinic because since retiring, I no longer have dental insurance and needed to find a dentist who would take monthly payments if needed. I wasn’t sure if I would like being in a setting with several dentists and staff as I was used to one dentist and the same hygienist for years. I was pleasantly surprised! I love the casual, friendly, respectful and fun atmosphere. This is the first time I had a new crown completely put in within 2 hours! I called Mckenzie Dental exactly 1 day before they saw me. I have a tooth that lost its filling and broke. Had they not seen me so soon it would have abscessed. Mckenzie Dental did a great job extracting a tooth for my daughter. They did everything they could to make sure she was comfortable. She told me it didn’t hurt just a few pinches from the numbing pricks. They were also super fast and got to us quickly. Pros: Heidi is the nicest and best dental hygienist that I’ve ever had. All the dental hygienists (that I’ve had) at McKenzie Dental have all been very nice. Heidi is my absolute favorite because, not only is she nice, but she’s also great at her job. My teeth always feel clean once she’s done, and she doesn’t make my mouth bleed to high heaven. She is very gentle and proficient. She’s also very good at getting all of that grainy stuff out. I’m not sure what it is that they use since I’ve never asked. I must say, this is the best dentist out of the three that I have gone to. Cons: Parking can be difficult during their busier hours. They have a small lot. There is a hygienist that I’ve gotten that was really rough and my mouth was in pain for a few days. She was very nice though. UPDATE: Dr. Lee is incredibly kind and caring. I got my wisdom teeth pulled here. It was more difficult than expected, but they were very kind and got the job done! I would definitely recommend them!

I recently switched to McKenzie Dental Center and am very impressed by their honest great work. From the moment I walked in, I knew I found the right dentist office. I don’t have dental insurance and they have a great affordable program. Also, I was told from a previous dentist that I needed 3 teeth worked on very soon. McKenzie Dental Center said I only had 1 tooth that needed work. My previous dentist was telling me that I needed to come in every 3 months for expensive cleanings. This new dentist said every 4 months would work fine. From the reception desk, to the hygienist, to the dentist, I am very impressed!

Heidi was my hygienist and she did one of the best cleanings I have ever had at any dental office. She was very thorough and she took her time explaining what she was doing and reviewing my xrays with me. I had some sensitivity, but she made sure to apply some numbing solution so that I would not have any pain while she was cleaning my teeth. I am very happy with the results and the way that my dental care was handled. I will definitely be going back to this office again and I am actually looking forward to my next cleaning.

I haven’t had dental work for many years. Usually, when you tell the dentist that, they treat you like you’ve committed a crime. Instead, it was taken that I simply hadn’t had the time, money, or need to visit a dentist and that was fine. The staff was very friendly, very efficient. Everything was explained clearly. Options were given. For two teeth, crowns rather than fillings were suggested, but I felt fillings would do the job. They didn’t try to argue and convince me otherwise. Appointment times are very convenient for me. I am so glad that I called this place. Now…wish I’d called them a lot sooner! If anyone is looking for a dental “home”, I highly recommend this place

McKenzie Dental are the best of the best in my book (in my mouth)! I have been seeing them for at least three years for my six month checkups. I never have cavities, at least not the last several years. However, some fillings from my childhood were getting old and chipping apart. McKenzie’s doctors replaced each of them perfectly, and also have repaired a bonded tooth, that had a decade old bonding material that was wearing out. The repaired bond actually looks better than the original! These guys are the best!!!

This place is wonderful. I’m the worst patient ever, I’m 28 and terrified of the dentist so nothing is ever easy with me. I had a panick attack in the middle of getting a filling and an extraction and they let me stop and take a break and didn’t make me feel like a total crazy person for being so afraid. The best dental care I’ve ever had, period. I recently had a crown replaced (one installed by another dentist), due to decay beneath it. Not only did Dr. Lee and his team fix the decay, but they fit me with a new crown. The new crown fit so perfectly, it made me realize how mis-sized the previous crown was, the one given to me by another dentist. Immediately my teeth felt better, I could floss more easily and I had no more jaw pain, something I figured I’d just have to live with. Not only that, but there was zero pain after the new crown, no hot/cold sensitivity, nothing, it felt perfect! The following day, and again the day after that, I received calls from the dental assistant, asking me how everything felt. I’ve never experienced that kind of service and genuine caring. A great, positive staff and team of dentists…our whole family now goes to McKenzie Dental Center, and I have some other “teeth fixing” projects in the works with them.

The person that brought out paper to sign and take my temp with questions she did not sanitize pen. I had gloves on and not an issue for me but could be for someone not having gloves. How do I start such an AWESOME experience!!! Dr. Lee and his staff are completely professional with a great sense of humor! In the past I have been used to going to dental clinics where they put me in small room to wait for the dentist. The layout at McKenzie Dental is much different! For lack of better description, it’s set up like a hair salon,in an open space, where you can sit or lay in a chair while waiting for the dentist and talk the assistants and the dentist can roll in his chair to the next patient 6 feet away from you AWESOME LAYOUT. The best I’ve ever seen! ( they even have TV screens on the ceiling for longer procedures!)
