We’ve been going to McKenzie River Dental for several years and find the facility and staff wonderful to work with.  They are welcoming, friendly, respectful and great at what they do. Cinda Holaday has been our hygienist for many years and knows just what to do for each one of use to make our visit comfortable. She is always on time, thorough and has a positive outlook.

I don’t give a lot of reviews, but I’ve got to tell you all about this. I’ve been going here for four years and get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I always have a really pleasant experience. The waiting room is comfortable. The front desk folks and the dentist are all very nice and easy to deal with. I always feel like I’m getting good dental care. I don’t remember my hygienists name but she has a bunch of orchids in her dental room. She is always very pleasant, listens to me if something hurts, which it rarely does, and I almost fall asleep during every cleaning. Life is hard sometime people, and it’s nice to have a dental office that makes things easy and nice overall.

Yay – the best! I cried tears of joy today. I have been under the care of Dr. Schilt for the past year. My teeth were absolutely horrible (14 years of bulimia will do that). I had gaps, holes, worn down teeth – just awful looking. And, I smile a lot! Today, my last treatment was completed. Four beautiful implants (he even grafted bone and added membrane), and six crowns across the top front teeth. My beautiful smile has returned and I no longer have to be concerned about strategically placing myself in front of the camera. Perfect because I have graduations and weddings coming up. Dr. Schilt took the time to explain every step and why he was doing it. His bedside manners are gentle. He called in the evening to make sure I was okay. And, wow, he is so nice to his assistants, saying please when he asks for instruments and stuff, and then saying thank you! Yep, this is definitely the best dentist in OR!!!

I rarely do a review but I want to take this opportunity to support McKenzie River Dental. When my long time dentist retired a few years ago I was worried that I couldn’t find another dentist and staff to compare but Dr. Schilt and his staff are excellent. They take my care very seriously! I have always had a great fear of dentists but from my first visit it was clear that McKenzie River Dental takes that fear seriously. I am always treated with respect and compassion. I can, without any reservation, recommend McKenzie River Dental.

McKenzie River Dental has been so wonderful in providing dental care for our family. We have seen Dr. Schilt for our dental needs for many years and have been pleased with his work. We have seen Lori for our dental hygiene needs for over 24 years. She has given great advice for caring for our teeth and seems like family to us. The office environment is very pleasing, welcoming and comfortable. The reception ladies always have a smile for us!

This was my first visit to this Dental office and I was very pleased with the experience. During this time of Covid Pandemic they were well prepared and practiced all the required protocols. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. I ended up having a painful and infected tooth extracted, and Dr. Schilt carefully explained my options for the tooth, and what the extraction process would be like. The procedure itself went very smoothly, no pain, and I was in and out of the office in about 30 minutes. Since this went so well, I intend to continue having Dr. Schilt and his team work on my teeth in the future. I can highly recommend the Dr. and his staff for the excellent level of care that they provided to me.

McKenzie River Dental has the best staff. Danielle at the front desk always greets with a big smile, and truly cares about me and my family personally. Zoey and Kristy are so patient when cleaning my young children’s teeth, and are quick yet efficient to get the job done. Dr. Schilt is also very personable, and it shows he truly cares about his patients. He is calm and patient as well as very knowledgeable. Everyone is very prompt, I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointment. The office is beautiful and inviting, and is in great location. Thanks MRD for being such a great asset to our community!

McKenzie River Dental has provided my daughter and I amazing service for years. Cinda has been our hygienist for over 20 years. Not only is she extremely skilled and knowledgeable, but she is kind and caring, and willing to go above and beyond for her patients. Dr. Schilt and his staff have created a calm, caring, and friendly environment for their patients, while providing amazing service.

My entire family has been blessed with the care of Lorri McIntyre as our Dental Hygenist for over a decade now and I know I speak on behalf of all by saying we regard her as the consummate professional. It is both comforting and reassuring to know she will be there to continue to provide outstanding personal service. Lorri McIntyre has been my hygienist for nearly 30 years. She is warm, friendly and accommodating to untraditional schedules and bends over backwards to work with our crazy lives. She makes me feel welcome and at ease when I am there. I have never felt as if I am a bother or inconvenience, especially when I have an unusual request or a question. When my original dentist retired I was skeptical at first of someone new. But Lorri quickly made me feel at ease with the transition and the changes. She knows my entire family and I feel as if we are a part of hers also. Our family wholeheartedly recommends Lorri to anyone looking for a hygienist. PS. Dr. Schilt and his staff are wonderful too. 🙂 I love being greeted as an old friend when I walk in, it really adds a personal touch.

I don’t give a lot of reviews, but I have to say that of the dentists I’ve been to, I really enjoy the staff and atmosphere here. I’ve been going here for five years and I always have a friendly and pleasant experience. The waiting room is comfortable and professional. The front desk ladies are always nice, greeting me by name and making me feel welcome. The dentist and hygienists are all really nice. Kristi is always very pleasant during my cleanings and everyone takes great care of me.

We LOVE our dentist!  John Schilt is a fantastic dentist.  I appreciate that he addresses what needs to be done without doing things that don’t need to be done!  The entire office staff, dental assistants and support staff treat you like you’re the most important client they have.  Everyone is so friendly and positive.   When our family experienced the need for extensive dental work among several of us, they went well beyond the call of duty to help us with insurance benefits and reasonable pricing.   Our experiences with this dental office are so positive I’ve recommended them to all my colleagues, many of whom have switched to this office…and all with very positive experiences!

After researching and reading many reviews, I decided McKenzie River Dental was the place I wanted to try. Not having had any dental insurance for over 10 years, I hadn’t seen a dentist in at least that long. I still don’t have insurance, but I did have a broken and painful tooth, so I budgeted carefully to have it pulled. All I can say is if you are looking for a good dentist, this is the one you’re looking for. The ladies were wonderful and so friendly. I got a timely appt, I did my paperwork online, they sent me appt reminders, and I did not wait a single second in the lobby past my appt start time. Dr. John Schilt was right on that tooth as soon as the xrays and initial exam by the assistant, whose name I may have forgotten, were completed. He deadened the area with no pain at all, and extracted that bad tooth in just minutes, NO PAIN!. I got a 5% discount for cash or check….who can argue? Dr. Schilt and every one of his lovely ladies were so friendly, but also professional at the same time. The office was clean and nice & cool. I have not one negative thing to say. I highly recommend giving this office a try if you are looking for a dentist. And the big plus for me is that it is only a few blocks from my house. Wherever you live though, it’s worth the drive!

I always look forward to going to McKenzie River Dental to get my teeth cleaned. Dr. Schilt and staff have done an amazing job creating an atmosphere unlike any other. Their caring, customer service, and commitment to providing the best possible care are easily visible through their work. I have been getting my teeth cleaned by Cinda for as long as I can remember. She does a phenomenal job and it is very clear that she cares about my teeth. Thank you for the being the best hygienist out there!

Most of my life I have dreaded going to the dentist, and even went years at a time between visits. McKenzie River Dentist has completely changed my perception on the experience. Everything from the very friendly staff, to the comfy waiting room couches (although I’ve never had to wait long), as well as the quality of care I receive, I actually look forward to my visits now!

I very much appreciate the staff at McKenzie River Dental-as well as the dental care I receive. My hygienist Cinda is exceptional. She is friendly, thorough and my kids and I all look forward to our visits with her. Yesterday as I was leaving my appointment I realized I hadn’t asked for gluten free polish (which I require due to Celiac Disease). I felt panicked, but it was something Cinda had remembered and I was put at ease. I so appreciate her personal awareness of my situation and her planning specifically to meet my health needs. She is really wonderful. The other staff person that I love interacting with is Danielle at the front desk. She knows me and my family. She is upbeat, knowledgeable and very kind. Any billing questions are answered quickly and accurately and she makes you feel at home. I definitely recommend this office without hesitation!

Great office environment and welcoming employees! I switched to this dental office this year and have been extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and attentiveness from my hygienist, Cinda. She is very personable and you can tell she truly cares for her patients. Dr.Schilt and the rest of his staff were excellent as well!

My parents and I have been having our teeth cared for by Dr. Schilt ever since he acquired Dr. Putnam’s patients when Dr. Putnam retired. We appreciate Dr. Schilt’s knowledge and expertise, and his ability to put patients at ease. The dental office offers a relaxing atmosphere, and Danielle always greets you by name, and with a smile! Lorri has been our hygienist since the days of Dr. Putnam, and she is great. She makes us feel comfortable, and always makes sure we’re taken care of!

I love Dr. Schilt’s office! I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Lori does a wonderful job as a hygienist, she is so great to work with and does a great job keeping my smile in shape. She even remembers my kids and husband by name when I go in. Danielle also is great, she is always smiling behind the desk whenever we go in. I know I can always count on this office for all of my families dental needs. In a world where business is business, It is nice to go into an office where they greet you by first name before you even check in. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a quality dentist and quality staff.
