I have been going to the Doctor Mellion practice since I was a kid. Through countless expanders, retainers, and braces, I finally received the smile I loved. Working with Dr. Zach, Joe, Nick, and Alex has been awesome and I continued to receive a consistent and excellent experience. So much so, that I decided to come back as an adult for the Invisalign treatment after having my front teeth knocked out. Dr. Zach has been thorough and thoughtful throughout my treatment process and I cannot thank him and the rest of the Doctor Mellion staff more. Home stretch for my returned smile thanks to Mellion Orthodontics!

I took my son for a new patient consultation today. The staff is very knowledgeable and the office is very kid friendly. I loved how the staff addressed my son and listened to his questions and concerns as well as mine. Jamie is very patient and was excellent with my son, as well as helpful while explaining the financial aspect, and Dr Zach Mellion was very friendly and personable and did a great job explaining what is going on in my son’s mouth and the treatment moving forward!

I highly recommend Mellion Orthodontics to anyone considering treatment for themselves or for their family. True professionals who care deeply about their patients and the outcomes. I was treated with respect and knew that every person in the office had my best interest at heart. I’m very pleased with my results!

Very nice staff and very nice treatment. My family has been going here for a long time and we still interact with the same people. I have been treated with nothing but kindness here. If you’re a person living in the Akron area I would go here because of the niceness of the treatment and the staff. They also are ok with rescheduling but will never reschedule on you.

A review from my 14 year old son in braces: Very nice people! Never cranky or seemed to be having a bad day. Also, you never really drew blood or maimed me when working on my mouth, so that’s always a plus. Also none of my appointments have been held over, and when I was late there wasn’t much of a fuss, and really I can’t think of much that could have gone wrong so I don’t know what to say didn’t go wrong. Just… overall positive vibes, I guess.

There is no possible way they could get less than five stars. Actually, I wish there were more so I could give them more. The staff is by far the best “doctor office” staff I have ever been to. And trust me I’ve been to enough. They are extremely personable and caring. The orthodontists always answer all of my questions and are helpful. Remember, with orthodontia care they can give you an approximate time when your braces will come off but they can’t garuntee. So much of that depends on how fast your teeth move, how good you take care of them, etc. The facility itself is clean and nice. I’ve never waited more than ten minutes to be seen, even if I’m early or late. Highly, highly recommend them.

The experience we have had with the Fairlawn office and all the doctors has been exceptional – the process is fully explained before anything starts, constant communication is had during the process and both me as the parent and both my children are treated kindly and with respect. Thank you for making this “not so fun” process a positive experience. I would recommend them to any and everyone!

By far, the best orthodontist ever! They do such great work that I was their patient as a teen and when my son needed braces, I knew right where I was taking him! My daughter is next, and surely there is no other orthodontist I would trust than Mellion Orthodontics! They have the friendliest staff that remember faces and names and they make each patient AND parent feel special!

Mellion Orthodontics will beyond Wonderful!! The staff is extremely kind. The Doctors are AMAZING. Not to mention the hours for the office are so convenient. They make you feel welcomed, explain everything so you understand treatment step by step. No questions left unanswered. I HIGHLY recommend Mellion. The Doctors and staff talk to my daughter (10yo) and make sure she knows what her responsibilities are. And she loves, loves, loves, the T-shirt and sweatshirt she was given. I definitely will recommend (which I have already) in the future. Thank you for such a great experience at your office.

I’m so pleased with the efficient service we experience with Mellion Orthodontics. I get email and voicemail reminders when my appointment is scheduled. When I arrive at the office, their check- in service is like a well-oiled machine. My son knows how to check in through the computer and actually looks forward to this. The waiting room is so quiet and comfortable with complimentary water and coffee. The doctors and nurses are so friendly and lets you know what is happening step by step. Thank you Mellion for a pleasant experience every time!!

My daughter has been going to see the Mellions (in Massillon) for a few years now and we have had nothing but excellent experience. She had to get an expander which I was sure she would not like to wear but because of the multiple color options and the great staff, they made this experience great for her, as well as the continued follow up we have now for her retainer (which of course came in so many design options)! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of orthodontic care.
