I have developed such an affection for Dr. Kim since the day I met her many years ago when a was suffering with 8 loose teeth and a night guard that needed drastic adjusting because of excessive clenching and grinding during sleep. Dr. Kim is a very wise professional who is also a good listener. She has always taken the time to offer her dental/medical advice in an effort to help me. For example, she wrote a referral for physical therapy for neck issues I was struggling with, and just today, she devised a clever suggestion of placing gauze between my cheek and night guard to prevent annoying pinching of my cheek! This pinching has been occurring since the loss of my bridge which resulted in 2 missing teeth (#13 and #14) causing the collapse of my cheek in that area. So, until I am able to get crowns on these 2 teeth, I will enjoy relief that her suggestion provides. I am so very grateful for having met Dr. Kim and for her warm, friendly demeanor as well as her superior professional services.

Definitely recommend to everyone, especially if you are adult and want to wear braces. I consulted other orthodontist before I discussed with Dr. Kim. I finally choose Dr. Kim because she provided sound explanation and very reasonable recommendation based on my condition without trying to charge me more than what I need. The overall time I worked with her was very pleasant. If anything emergency occurred, I always able to schedule the appointment at the same day or very next day. The total treatment time was elongated due to COVID but not too bad. After wearing the braces for 15 months, I’m really happy and satisfied with the final results!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kim’s since 2018. I met with several orthodontists before choosing her because she specializes in TMJ and was willing to work with multiple jaw surgeons to help me find the best path forward. From MAGO guards, to Invisalign, traditional braces, surgery, and continued jaw support she has been amazing. Not to mention her meticulous attention to detail. I could not have made a better choice than to go with Dr. Kim and Metro West! The entire staff is very accommodating.

My experience with Dr. Kim has been great, the staff are always friendly and helpful. I don’t know too many people who enjoy going to the dentist, but I don’t have anything but good things to say about Metro West Dental… I would highly recommend this staff to anyone I know!

They’ve taken good care of me. Dr. Miyamoto and Dr. Kim are a cute couple who do great work. After Dr. Miyamoto did a surgery for me, Dr. Kim caught me and talked with me about orthodontic options completely out of her own time, which I really appreciated. The doctors, Juanita, Tami, Amanda and the rest of the staff are awesome, friendly and super funny. I really like them all, and they’ve helped me be more relaxed in what would’ve been a stressful time. Thank you!

Our daughter needed extensive dental procedures. Dr Kim has treated her for several years. At our appointment this month she said we did not need to come back for a year. Dr. Kim and her staff have been professional, caring and the results of the treatment she has given our daughter has been amazing. She corrected her jaw alignment, her teeth spacing and other problems. We would recommend Metro West Dental to everyone needing dental care. I have been a patient of Dr. Kim and Dr. Miyamoto and they are both great. Their bedside manners are exceptional and they really do excellent work. The staff is very friendly and over the last 3 and a half years of visiting the office, I’ve always had a wonderful experience. The new office is very tastefully decorated, contemporary style.

For more than a decade I’ve never felt comfortable smiling. Dr. Kim changed that. Although there’s still more to go, I’ve gotten better results in less than 2 years here compared to the 6 years at my previous ortho. I can’t stress enough how amazing Dr. Kim has been to work with. From the very beginning she’s been very understanding with my dental situation and explaining my different options and what is needed. Very diligent in wanting to make sure we’re satisfied with our smile. Great team as well, always lovely and welcoming. Their teamwork really comes together to make Metro West as impressive as it is! I’ll forever be grateful to my dentist for recommending me coming over to Metro West for my ortho work.

Thanks to Dr. Kim and her team, I now wear a beautiful and confident smile everyday. I can say with full confidence that she, Dr. Miyamoto, and Dr. Lang work extremely hard at always putting patient care first, and the whole team is very professional, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all questions.
