Today I was scheduled to have a painful and compromised molar removed. As he and Dr. Riley examined the complexity of the operation, they thought of an alternative to save the tooth. They agreed on a root canal instead, which was successfully done, saving the tooth and preventing the need for further surgery and expense. This past weekend my grandmother lost a crown on her front tooth. I am from out of town and randomly began to call dentists off of google. I called Dr. Nitzberg on his emergency line after hours on his day off. Not only did he immediately answer but he was willing to come in on his day off. My grandmother is 85 years old and extremely nervous around doctors. Dr. Nitzberg made her feel comfortable and she left with a smile better than it was before she lost the crown. He was extremely patient and understanding, not to mention extremely quick. This was five hours ago and my grandmother will not stop talking about what a good experience she had not to mention how nice the doctor was to look at. Since she did not have a dentist in Florida Dr. Nitzberg gained a long term patient. After an undergraduate degree in biology and minor in chemistry (BS), masters in Biomedical Science (MBS), and Doctoral degree in Dental Medicine (DMD), Dr. Nitzberg worked in both Broward and Dade County, surrounding himself with some of the best dentists and mentors in South Florida. He was fortunate to be part of both a cosmetic and prosthodontic dental practice six years. This is where his interest in complex cases, esthetic dentistry, dental surgery, and implant dentistry was cultivated. As previously mentioned, he is implementing digital impression scanning, 3-D imaging and printing, dental lasers, computerized dentistry, implant dentistry, smile design, and so much more.
