I’ve always wanted to get my teeth done.. always conscious of the gaps in between my front teeth and yellow staining. I researched and found Dr. Kosdon back in 2011, had my consultation where he suggested 6 veneers — but things came to a halt with life getting in the way and my then pregnancy.  I always remembered him being kind and based on the way he spoke with me, the professionalism of his office and seeing results from his work, I trusted him. My daughter is now a toddler and I still had the dream of getting veneers and having a confident smile. I didn’t think twice to contact Dr. Kosdon’s office and was thrilled that he was still in business. Within a few visits he was able to achieve a great smile that fits my face and looks natural, which was my goal. His office is very polite and has responded to all of my concerns. Glad I chose a dentist who took into consideration my concerns for a great outcome!

Review: ‘Stella Got Her Groove Back’! ***** 5 Stars!: As a professional recording artist, entertainer and actor for all of my life, you can imagine my intent on finding the best dental care available. After many years of grinding my teeth in my sleep, I needed serious dental care. I did my due diligence searching for the right dentist for over a year. Dr. Michael Kosdon gave me a great consultation and I knew immediately that we would work together. We discussed in detail everything that needed to be done and what our plans were for a beautiful smile, and also to make sure there were no whistles sounds when I sing. Dr. Kosdon worked hands on, extra hard with his colleague at the lab, to make sure the porcelain caps were what we discussed to match my proportions and size. Dr. Kosdon is extremely professional and has an excellent bed side manner. He is great at pain management and he helped me get over my fear of going to the Dentist. I especially appreciated his pristine offices and his assistant was kind and caring. Lisa is the office manager. She handled my needs with class and worked with me on discussing options for payment plans and insurance reimbursements. Dr. Kosdon is quite an artist at aesthetic cosmetic dentistry and takes great pride in his patient’s smiles. The whole experience was excellent! As a child I have ALWAYS looked at teeth. Someone who prides their smile is attentive to detail…….That is exactly the service/care I received at Dr. Kosdon’s. Initially I just went in for my routine cleaning but hoping to establish a new relationship with a dentist in Los Angeles. Quite honestly I wasn’t sure I’d stay with Dr. Kosdon permanently. I have seen my childhood dentist for most of my life. However, it was time to go BIG!!! Dr. Kosdon was highly recommended and well known for his experience in Cosmetic dentistry-a few well know celebrity smiles helped! I was looking for a dentist with a cutting edge approach, someone who was going to provide top quality service without compromising care. Braces as a kid fixed my crowding but now was in search for a top notch smile. Although I had some questionable, old school dental work in my mouth, he never made me feel ashamed of it. Instead he listened to my concerns and long term goals, took xrays and a bunch of pics of all areas of my mouth. More than I’d like to see! But it totally assisted me in choosing to do a full mouth lift-that’s what I call it! Laura has hands down given me the most thorough cleaning. His clinical staff was very knowledgeable-not robotic and Judy was extremely helpful and went above and beyond in making this all happen. I am THRILLED with my new smile and appreciate the detail that went into creating it. Look out 2013 I’ve just made my best investment!!! Dr. Kosdon you have a patient for life…..

Wow is all I have to say. The staff is great and Sheri who works behind the welcoming desk is friendly and informative. The office itself is warm and inviting, unlike most doctors offices. Dr Kosdon is the best dentist by far in Los Angeles. I had tried 3 different dentists in Los Angeles and none measure up to Dr. Kosdon. He is very knowledgable and honest. He doesn’t just recommend proceedures for the heck of it. He has a great personality and was understanding of my uncertainties and concerns. I’ve had 2 crowns, teeth whitening, and multiple cleanings. Each experience I’ve had was great. I could not be more happy with Dr. Kosdon and his office. I travel a lot for work, and in particular to New York. I heard that he even has an office there too. So no matter where I go, Dr. Kosdon will alway be there to make sure my teeth look and feel great.

When I moved to the city, I saw a dentist that wanted to charge me huge $ and said I needed surgery. I was afraid and never went back. I met with Dr. Kosdon who put veneers on my teeth; there was no pain and it was quick. My teeth look amazing! When I found out Dr. Kosdon was also going to practice general dentistry in his NY office, I called for an appointment immediately. My dental procedure was a great and painless experience! I didn’t need surgery! Lisa, Maria and his staff are accommodating, professional and so nice. This visit has changed my opinion of going to the “dreaded dentist”. Dr. Kosdon will be my dentist forever! Great Job to the staff and Dr. Kosdon!

Dr. Kosdon and his team are just amazing! I am so happy I decided to chose him. I absolutely love the results, have a new sense of confidence and find myself smiling more! To add, I couldn’t be happier with his bedside manner. I was so nervous and have a very low tolerance for pain. He did such a great job calming me down and making me feel comfortable. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure how or where to begin my review because there are so many aspects that come to mind off the bat that I want to excitedly rant about. However, what I can tell you first and foremost is this– Dr. Kosdon and his team are not only incredibly talented, they’re also incredibly special. He is hands down one of the top dentists in New York (which is no easy feat) who has garnered many loyal patients over the years and is the best kept secret (which is exactly what makes his work all the better) behind a slew of celebrity smiles. I had a nice smile and average teeth but for years had been wanting those next level, pearly whites and an enhanced, brighter version of myself. Dr. Kosdon designed the most beautiful veneers that suit me perfectly and he was incredibly meticulous and gracious every step of the process. Dare I say… he was almost as excited as I was to see how happy I would be with the end results. To me, that’s one of the key reasons why Dr. Kosdon is as good as it gets– he cares. He cares about the impact of his work on his patients beyond a surface level. Pair that with a great eye and natural talent for creating custom tailored smiles and voilà. Need I say more? While Dr. Kosdon is clearly the star of the show, we all know what goes on behind the scenes in showbiz and that no great individual stands alone. I would be remiss to write such a lengthy review and not mention the other wonderful staff members. From Lisa, the real boss aka the office manager, to Maria and Nina– the best and sassiest dental hygienists around, these ladies keep the business wheels turning and greatly contribute to the overall seamless and enjoyable patient experience. To sum it up, heaven forbid I was one of Dr. Kosdon’s celebrity patients and had paparazzi and/or media outlets constantly scrutinizing my appearance, I know for damn sure my new smile would be making it on best dressed lists with raving headlines. Now just think…what would…and what could your headline read?

If you are looking for a cosmetic dentist that has exceptional aesthetic and restorative skills, I could not more highly recommend Dr. Kosdon. As high as I consider my own standards to be, Dr. Kosdon’s are much higher. The professional and collaborative process that he undertook delivered outstanding results. I could not have imagined I’d have such a confident and beautiful smile. Veneers were done on both the upper and lower jaws, as well as restorative work on some teeth. As an older patient, my teeth were discolored, chipped, and small for my face — not good at all, even after having undergone Invisalign treatment. I’ve always hated to be photographed. That all changed with the work performed by Dr. Kosdon. Before choosing Dr. Kosdon, I thoroughly researched veneers and met/spoke with 6 other prominent cosmetic dentists. I chose Dr. Kosdon as I found him to be super-professional, patient, honest and caring. His portfolio/work done was also the most beautiful and natural-looking. My decision was most definitely the right one. He strove for perfection, and did not let even the smallest imperfection remain, until he improved it and was satisfied with the results. I recently immigrated to America from Munich, Germany, and as you can imagine, my standards are set high when it comes to craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality. Let me tell you upfront: Dr. Kosdon’s work set my “German” standards even higher. Once I came to America, I realized that having a beautiful smile is important in this country and since my teeth were small with gaps, I felt I needed to get something done. I researched thoroughly online, found Dr. Kosdon and came in for a complimentary consultation. I immediately felt that I was in the right hands after he explained to me what he had in mind for me and how porcelain veneers work. Now that I have my veneers, I couldn’t be happier. Let me tell you why: If you do your research you will see that the trend in cosmetic dentistry is going towards enhancing and perfecting nature rather than giving you a fake looking smile. Dr. Kosdon did exactly that: He enhanced me without changing me. Have I mentioned that he is not only a highly skilled dentist, but also a genuinely nice guy? During each visit, he not only made me feel special – you’ll notice that you’re actually special to him. So did Lisa and Maria, his NY team. Bottom line: If you want to get porcelain veneers or think about it and still have some concerns, go and see Dr. Kosdon. He’s an artist and it is an honor to be one of his projects.

Dr. Kosdon redid my veneers and I couldn’t be happier. I did a lot of research before working with him as a few of my old veneers (done by another dentist) had broken off. Scared (and self-conscious), I decided it was time to see a REAL COSMETIC dentist. I had a few consultations with other dentists, but decided on Dr. Kosdon because he was honest, professional and had great reviews. For the first time (in a long time), I have natural looking teeth that actually feel comfortable. I am no longer afraid to eat certain things and I am finally smiling in pictures. It is important to remember that some dentists will promise a quick turnaround for cosmetic procedures. Don’t be tempted by the short timeline. This process can take a few weeks, but it is worth it.

DR. Kosdon is AMAZING! Not only is his work incredible but his attitude and patience is as well. My best friend had both front teeth knocked out when an ambulance with no sirens on blew a red light and nearly killed him on his skateboard. As if the major leg injury wasn’t enough to take on, having both front teeth knocked out on top of it was devastating for him, especially since his teeth were absolutely picture perfect naturally. Seeing what he went through made me realize how important people’s smiles are. Dr. Kosdon was able to restore his smile with temporary teeth within days, and now has fully restored his smile permanently. The results are amazing!!!! I highly recommend Dr. Kosdon and his staff.
