Quality care with fabulous results! Very pleased with our treatment. My son is very happy with his new smile! I should also mention that my children and I are pleased with the care and precautions taken during the current pandemic. Our family has felt very safe and cared for during appointments. On a personal note — Dr. Richards and his staff are compassionate, caring and patient. I’m particularly impressed with their caring beyond the orthodontic treatment we’ve received as they’ve shown kindness to us through some difficult life experiences, too. I have genuinely appreciated the way they have worked with and shown compassion toward me and multiple children in our family.

Always so friendly and prompt during appointments. Great knowledge and care when it comes to orthodontics. This is my 3rd time with braces and I can already tell that Dr. Richard’s approach is much more effective than my previous orthodontist’s. I have had to have multiple medical leaves from work due to some health issues, and they were always willing to help work with me on my monthly payments to ensure I wouldn’t be burdened financially. 10/10 would recommend

I recommend Dr. Richard to everyone who needs braces. I started my treatment when I was in high school and finished while I was in college. The Damen Clear braces that he provides helped me to not to feel too awkward about wearing braces in college. He and his team are very professional, experienced, and friendly. The result is very satisfying. Also, I would like to give them a shout-out on the post-treatment service. My retainer broke and they were very helpful about fixing and replacing it. Overall, I had a great experience at Michael Richard Orthodontics.

We have had a great experience with Dr. Richards – I have been so impressed with the very pleasant and kind staff, the efficient way the office runs, and the fun perks and incentives for the kids. I shopped around for an orthodontist at several locations, and actually felt my heart sink when I came into this office and saw how lovely and comfortable it is, heard about the better type of braces they use and other great things – I was sure it was going to be more expensive than the other offices I visited. Much to my surprise, it was less. We are very happy here; my son even says he loves coming.

If you’re reading this, then you’re probably deciding whether or not to get braces from Dr. Richards. As a fellow indecisive person that overly analyzes every decision in their lives, let me give you some relief to your stress, haha, Dr. Richards is the right decision. Set up an appointment now, and let him give you the facts to back that statement up. However, in the meantime, let me give you some anecdotal evidence. I spent 37 years being very self conscious of my smile. I knew straightening my teeth would help, but I was skeptical how much it would help and whether it would be worth the cost. However, I don’t think I could be happier with the decision I made to finally get my teeth straightened. I almost cried when I saw the end result because I was so surprised how much my smile had improved. I feel so much more confident in my smile, and I actually enjoy smiling now for pictures, haha. I couldn’t imagine there being a better orthodontist than Dr. Richards. It’s a job that requires both an analytical and artistic mind, patience, and experience. I was always amazed that he could see a perfect smile in my imperfect teeth, but he found it and brought it out and I couldn’t be happier. You’re definitely in safe hands with Dr. Richards, and he won’t stop until your smile meets his high standards. It was tiring at times when I felt enough was enough, but I’m glad he pushed me to go until I had the smile I have today. Thank you Dr. Richards!

This place is the best orthodontics to go to the give you smile miles and when you get enough you can get really cool stuff and they have a fun room to play in when you are waiting you also get slushys when you are done with your appointment. And dr Richards is super nice and doesn’t hurt your mouth when you have a appointment he is super amazing.

Dr. Richards gave me a free consultation for Invisalign a year ago. I was looking for a second opinion and when I told him I had the possibility of moving within a few months, he advised to hold off on starting Invisalign until after I either moved or remained here in Utah for a longer period of time. When I didn’t move, I went to have him start the Invisalign treatment. I was finished within 6 months after following his recommendations and he was helpful on every visit in which I came to the office. The staff is easy to work with when it comes to the right payment plan. I would recommend him to anyone.

As a 50 year old woman, I was not excited about the prospect of reliving my teenage years in braces. But Dr. Richards & his staff are so pleasant, & very skilled at making my experience as painless as possible. I just got them off yesterday, and couldn’t be more pleased with the results! I can feel comfortable smiling widely again! I would recommend Edge Orthodontics to anyone considering braces.

Dr. Richards and his staff are not only exemplary technically, personally they are as well. The practice is run with thoughtful planning in every detail, from consult to removal. Consideration is taken towards truly having the patient (and parents) feel like they are at home, welcome and on track. I love the staff!! We shopped around for an orthodontist that could meet the unique and challenging dental needs of our children. We knew the right treatment was imperative to achieving the best outcome for their overall dental health and development. Dr Richards was far and above the right professional for our needs. He and his staff are knowledgeable, kind, professional, and fun. My kids love going to his office and the experience is always a good one. Financial costs are presented upfront and payment options are reasonable and convenient. They have always delivered what was promised and we have never been charged for extras or felt pressured for more treatment above what is necessary. Our experience with Dr Richards and his staff has been, and continues to be, wonderful!

I had my braces done here about four years ago and they turned out great. Recently had a mild mishap at a different dentist office during a routine cleaning and my lower permanent retainer wire popped loose. Dr. Richards was able to squeeze me into his schedule the very next day to fix it. Greatly appreciate their promptness, professionalism and friendliness. Highly recommend.
