Lisa is always the hygienist I see, and I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else! She is kind, efficient, and very thorough. When I was a kid/teen I did not take good care of my teeth (brush up young readers!). Hence, I am both terrified of the dentist and of the damage I have done to my teeth. I have been going to Dr. Tuman’s office for two years now and have always received quality service. I recently had a filling completed and was very anxious. They did everything they could to see my anxiety was reduced. Also the hygienists always are accommodating to my horrible gag reflex and incredibly small mouth. In addition, I like that they are open late in the day (though sometimes hard to schedule) and early in the morning which fits my work schedule. In addition they find time to squeeze people in for emergencies.

I want everyone to know I’m scared of Needles & Pain . So I stopped going to the dentist scared of the needles and pain. Dr. Tuman along with the laughing Gas Did the best dentist work ever. So I started out getting a tooth repaired now I’m getting all my work done. I will recommend him to anyone as truly a master of his craft..

As usual, the staff and both doctors are all very friendly. There were plenty of safety precautions before COVID, and now there are additional precautions to keep staff and patients safe, including asking questions, temperature check, safety glasses for patients, EVERYONE wearing masks when not in the dentist’s chair, and extra cleaning. (For example, a lead apron was placed on me for protection during x-rays, and when the apron was removed the dental hygienist wiped down both sides of the entire apron.) I’ve been really struggling w/routines, and instead of scolding I received understanding and an explanation of what worried them, to help motivate me for better self-care. Lori and both of the doctors were very caring! One suggestion: A sign on the door asks patients not to come in, and to call on the telephone when we arrive. Nothing had been said about this when I scheduled the appointment. Please don’t assume that all patients carry a cellphone. I tried to get someone’s attention waving from the window, and finally gave up and walked in. I suggest letting patients know the new routine when scheduling appointments, and asking whether it’s possible for patients to make a phone call. If not, set up a different plan. (This was only one small glitch figuring out a new system. It doesn’t change my 5-star rating.)

I was very grateful for the recommendation to Dr. Tumin’s dental office. I was given the perfect information over the phone to prepare for the visit and once I got to the office, the appointment time was honored and I received the best cleaning that I’ve had in the last 10 years. The consult with Dr. Tumin was greatly appreciated as I want to keep my teeth for as long as I can and he concurred. I was given great preventive care tools to use daily and I definitely will be returning. My mouth feels awesome!

I was referred to Dr. Tuman from my great othrodontist Dr. Moore. I am in the final stages of my braces and in order to complete my treatment I had to have two teeth extracted. Dr. Tuman staff was very nice and welcoming. Dr. Tuman himself was very nice and concerning, before he removed my teeth he explained everything to me and always asked did I have questions. He even called Dr. Moore due to his professional opinion he wanted to make sure he was removing the proper teeth and could the spaces be closed with no gaping visible. The whole experience was great and Dr. Tuman will now be my dentist going forward.

For once, I used a new business based on its Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! I needed to choose a new dentist in the area and decided on Dr. Truman based on his positive reviews and the vicinity of his office to my home. All members of the staff here are friendly and helpful. The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was easy to talk to and explained what she was doing as she did it and answered all my questions. Dr. Truman is also very friendly and personable and took time to chat with me and gave me advice about my situation. I had some developing cavities, but he didn’t hastily suggest filling them and instead gave me some tips on how to reverse the cavities and noted that we will monitor those areas. I could not be happier with the service I received and will happily return.

Best dentist I’ve ever seen. They made room for me as a new patient in need of emergency treatment. I don’t have dental insurance and so I was shocked to see how affordable the whole appointment was…I’m positive they could have thrown in all kinds of charges if they’d wanted to take advantage of my vulnerability (I was in so much pain!) My mom and I are both switching dentists immediately to begin seeing Dr. Tuman for regular appointments. Our family has a lot of mistrust when it comes to dentists based on a couple of bad experiences but we got such a great vibe from all of the staff and a genuine desire to do good work from Dr. Tuman.

I have been a patient for quite a long time now. While my first experience wasn’t the best(the hygienist was very rough ), I made a comment to the manager and it was immediately corrected. Have never had any pain or complaints since then! Dr. Tuman always explains the procedures if it is not routine and I am never hit with obtrusive fees. My suggestion to all patients is to know how your coverage works before you make an appointment. Often people don’t understand the difference between co-pay and co-insurance payment(usually a percentage outside of preventive care). I will be going back shortly!

The Doctor and all of his staff are extremely proficient, efficient and thorough in every process that they perform Thanks to a thorough exam by my hygienist, Lori, a cancerous lesion was identified on my tongue . As a new patient who went in for an emergency appointment in an incredible amount of pain…I left so overwhelmed with grattitude. Dr. Tuman and his staff were truly compassionate from the moment I called in tears over the phone (from pain and frustration as I’d been turned away from half a dozen local dentist’s offices for not having an appointment on a Friday.) The receptionist put me on hold for less than 30 seconds before telling me to get there as soon as I could. When I got there, they made sure I was as cofortable as I could be under the circumstances and within the hour I left with the prescriptions and clear directions for treatment. The truly shocking part was that Dr. Tuman even had one of the receptionists call me the next day to make sure everything was healing properly. THEY CALLED ME!? Seriously the best experience I’ve had in any medical environment in the last decade.

Quite simply, Dr. Tuman is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I had a dental emergency, and called his office. They accommodated me immediately, even though I was a first-time patient. The waiting room is a little small, but it’s adequate. The staff is friendly and professional. From the start, I felt comfortable and, even more, I felt like I was in completely expert hands. Dr. Tuman explained what needed to be done clearly, and then got to work. I felt at-ease the entire time. Dr. Tuman’s hours are fantastic, he honors a variety of insurances. This is a new dental office for me. I retired 3 years ago and have no dental insurance. I paid to be part of their yearly plan _ a flat fee that covers checkup, xrays, 2 cleanings per year, and 25% off the standard fee for other dental work. I’ve already saved $ doing that. I’ve had my teeth cleaned ( Lori was an excellent hygienist) and Dr Tuman was thorough, gave me a treatment plan, and I am thrilled that I chose this practice. It is clean, I feel safe there, their a COVID precautions are vigilant, and I would definitely recommend This practice to anyone!

Drs. Tuman and all of their hygienist and office staff have always been very kind, gentle (particularly with children) and take their time to explain things. You get praised for “good home care” and gently reminded of how important oral hygiene is when your home care is sub-awesome. I have been a patient since I was a teen, now my own children see Dr. Ryan (Dr. Tuman’s son at the same practice); my entire family have been patients for well over 20 years. For those with any fear or anxiety of dentists (my first was AWFUL but was with another dentist) all of the staff are very understanding and do their best to abate those anxieties (the Laughing Gas is essential for me). Thank you Drs. Tuman for helping my children have an awesome experience with their dental care, it makes home care that much easier!

I am petrified of the dentist. Petrified! I moved to the area and haven’t had a dentist in years. I have been experiencing sporadic pain in a tooth where the filling fell out years ago but because I have been avoiding the dentist it got worst. A friend of mine recommended Dr Tuman’s practice and it was seriously a delight. As much as you can call found to the dentist a delight 🙂 I was with Ryan, Dr Tuman’s son. What a nice and kind doctor and super grateful for his gentle manner and lovely assistant. I was way overdue for a cleaning/ check up but I was able to make an appointment with ease. When I arrived I did not notice the sign instructing patients to call before entering ( it was raining and I was distracted) but the receptionist did not overreact; she just calmly explained the protocols in place, took my temperature, and had me follow her to the other waiting room. I’m the kind of person who requires a lot of dental work so I was relieved when I visited Tuman’s office for the first time. The staff and hygienists are so friendly, and the office is clean with modern technology. I thought it was so cool to be able to see my x-rays immediately on the flat screen in front of my dental chair! The service I’ve received is excellent and I am very pleased overall. If you haven’t found a good dentist yet, you must give Dr. Tuman a try! But call in advance because you may have to wait a few weeks before getting an appointment — he is that popular!

By far the most pleasant experience at the dentist I’ve had. Dr. Tuman is a very personable man and you can tell he definitely cares about his patients as well as their comfort level. He showed me the location of my cavity in the mirror and thoroughly explained what he intended to do. He clearly has a lot of experience in dentistry and did a terrific job shaping my tooth a bit after the filling. I expressed a little bit of pain while he drilled my tooth, even after plenty of lidocaine and he stopped immediately to apply some desensitizer and allowed that to kick in thoroughly. He does no rush job. The front office staff is very kind and does all insurance paperwork. The office is kept very sanitary and tidy. The building is really gorgeous, especially from the outside. Still what stands out the most is the doctor himself. He is really what makes this practice unique and what inspired me to review him. Go and see him!

Just got home a little while ago from an emergency visit with Dr. Tuman. I lost an eye tooth/cap and was already told by other dentists that there was nothing they could put in to temporarily improve my smile (unless I wanted to pay over $500!). Before I even came in, Dr. Tuman’s receptionist assured me that I would go home with a temporary that would look great while I wait for the permanent replacement. She also looked up the cost of the work I would likely get done so I could make a decision. The friendly care and thorough exam and work while I was in the chair was amazing.
