I have been going to see Dr. Yung for a few years now. I have really enjoyed the staff and Dr. Yung himself. My hygienist always apologizes for being a perfectionist and I always tell him I can’t think of a better profession for that and love that he takes the time to really clean my teeth. It never hurts. Dr. Yung always comes in and is very friendly. He listens to any concerns I may have and I’m done. His office has parking in the back although I always forget and park on the street out front.I have never really dreaded the dentist and thanks to Dr. Yung and his staff, I still don’t! 🙂

I was referred by my coworker to Dr Michael Yung’s office because I couldn’t find a dentist for my family that made my children feel comfortable. The office where we were going to before changed dentists often, and I wanted my children to be able to have the same dentist regularly. The first time I went to Dr Yung’s office the office staff, hygienist and doctor were very personable and professional. I brought my children not long after and knew I found a dentist that my children would trust. We are very happy with them and would refer to my closest family and friends

Dr Yung is terrific. I’ve been coming to him for several years and would definitely recommend him to anyone. He and his staff are all very friendly, professional, and they are always on time for my appointment. He has eased my anxiety over getting shots for fillings as I can be a nervous wreck when I’ve had to get a shot. He is gentle and takes his time to ensure that I’m as comfortable as possible.  Bonus that there is always parking and you don’t have to pay for it, as they will validate for you. None of my other doctors do that and it’s appreciated

I recently started coming to Dr. Yung after a long period of not having a regular dentist. After moving to the area from West LA, I found Dr. Yung to have some of the most favorable reviews for dentists in Pasadena. Unfortunately, his offices only take PPO insurance so I had to wait the year out and switch over to PPO at the open enrollment period. It took awhile to get started, but now I’m happy to say I’ve finally found a dentist. Dr. Yung is very personable and called to welcome me as a new patient before I came in for my initial appointment. During the first appointment, he sits down with you and goes over the details of the x-rays and gives your chompers a thorough initial evaluation. As a new patient, I felt he really wanted to make sure you understood and even explained some of the dental terminology in layman’s terms. I did not feel rushed or hurried like I have with other dentists. My biggest hurray is with Mary, the hygienist. I’ll spare you the gory details but in a nutshell, it was awhile since I had a thorough cleaning and she really took the time to show me (embarrassingly) proper flossing techniques. (Gross I know, but apparently but improper flossing is something many people are guilty of)! Dr. Yung is a true professional. However, what makes him different from others is that he has an elegance and awareness when working. That may sound silly when writing about a dentist, but it is true. You can tell he cares and catches every detail. He is aware what we are going through as we sit in the chair. He checks in and makes sure that we are not only getting the best work, but also where we are in the process and what is happening inside our mouths. I find that refreshing. I trust him with my entire family. My wife had invisalign…went great. My daughter (10) has had multiple cleanings and check-ups…no problems and no FEAR to go see Dr. Yung. I cannot say enough about him, the staff and the office. A true gem in Pasadena…or anywhere for that matter

Dr. Yung and his staff are wonderful.  They are friendly and professional.  Appointments run on time with minimal waiting.  The actual procedures are effective and dare I say painless.  The best part is that their billing is straight forward and clear.  There is no attempt to upsell you on procedures or “sealants” while you’re sitting in the chair.  All bills are itemized and clear — and affordable(speaking as one with no dental insurance).  Thanks Dr. Yung for your great care for my teeth. 🙂

Today was my first visit with Dr.  Yung and his amazing team. I was blown away by not only their professionalism but how they are handling seeing patients during this current pandemic. A day before my appointment I was called and asked a few screening questions and told about their protocols.  Instructed to call upon arriving to the parking lot. They told me when to come up and someone greeted me by theirs stairs to have me sanitize my hands, checked my temperature and oxygen level.  I was seen within minutes of arrival. No waiting around like other offices. The very nice assistant gave me a tour of the office which at first seemed weird but actually ended up being a great experiences.  They also gave me a new patient gift to welcome me to their office! A coffee tumbler.  I was seen by the dentist and had x-rays taken. Then the hygienist April did my cleaning. She was very sweet and professional. Very soft handed.  One of the best cleanings I have ever had. I needed a retainer since I recently had braces removed. They were able to accommodate me into their schedule to have a retainer done so that I wouldn’t have to return so many times. I drove an hour to come to this office after hearing great things about them and let me say it is worth the drive for me.  I highly recommend them. I don’t usually write reviews but after my experience today I felt the need to share how amazing this office is.  From the front desk staff to the hygienist and assistants. Everyone was very welcoming and caring.  They made me feel ease and restored my trust in dental offices!

Still faithfully coming here. This office still has nice people, there is very little turnover, so I get to see Kristy & Norma (front desk), Jason (my hygienist), and Dr. Yung practically every time. I really like places where there is familiarity. I am always recognized when I go in. No one likes getting a filling or teeth scraping, but at Dr. Yung’s office I feel better about it. They also take my insurance, so that’s a huge plus. This is the only dentist office I have ever liked. I probably have better teeth than ever, because I actually will go get my checkups!

When I first got there I met Norma, the manager, she was great and made sure their assistants took good care of me. Everyone was super professional and nice, they gave me the best service I could have had, and cleaned my teeth like no other place has… I highly recommend. Even living far away was totally worth the hours I spent in traffic to get there… My teeth are looking great and it even feels different after they cleaned

I had my first appointment with Dr. Yung this morning and I had an outstanding experience. Every single staff member was kind and friendly. I was greeted upon arrival by Kristy.  She had called me yesterday to confirm my appointment.  Ceci the Dental Assistant took my x-rays and was also very nice. She gave me a cute welcome gift with a travel mug and toothbrush.  Too cute and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. April the dental hygienist cleaned my teeth after x-rays and was also very gentle. I would say it was my most seamless and painless dental cleaning procedure. After my cleaning, it was time to meet Dr. Yung. He’s young, brilliant with excellent chair -side manners. Is that even a term?! Not sure. But he made me feel comfortable.  After a routine exam and a thorough review of my x-rays it seems like he might have determined my teeth are A-Ok.  Lastly, upon leaving the dental office, Norma, the office manager, escorted me out. It was nice to meet her since I had initially spoken to her when I called the office to make an appointment. She gave me her business card with her contact information to follow up with her with some information. Needless to say, I left the office with a radiant smile. I don’t want to forget to mention my chair was a massage chair! How cool is that?! Parking is available in the lot directly behind the Arcade Lane building which houses Dr. Yung’s dentistry practice. The lot is accessible via Green street and the more noticable business in the building is Los Portales Mexican Restaurant.  I parked at 8:30am and there was no parking attendant in the vicinity. But when I left at around 10am a parking attendant was setting up her booth. I told her I was a patient of Dr. Yung’s and she told me with a smile I was okay to leave. I’ll be back in 6 months for my next routine cleaning with April, the best hygienist in Pasadena. My search for a local and awesome dentist is over
