There’s a reason this dental office is rated five stars! I’ve been going to Dr. Wu since 1998! That’s 19 years as of writing this review.
He is so thorough yet gentle at the same time. He is always concerned about the patient and will make you feel as relaxed as is humanly possible at a dental office.  I have referred dozens of people to him and they feel the same way! (Even tough, I feel kind of like Dr. Wu is my secret and I don’t want to share him with anyone.) No matter how far away from this office I live… I still come here for all my dental work. He’s worth the drive no matter how far. Now I have kids of my own and they see him too!    You can imagine I’ve lived in a few different places in 19 years. I’m also grateful for his flexibility in payments as we do not have dental insurance!

Dr. Wu is the best of the best. I had a few crowns put in…a bridge..root canal and thru out the entire process there was no pain at all. I even fell asleep in the chair as he worked. Give him a try!

I have been to at least 5 different dental office my whole life, and I have to say Dr. Wu is the BEST. He is really detailed and always making sure the patient is comfortable. He think about it from your perspective and doesn’t mind spending more time with you to reduce the pain treatment can possibly cause you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Dr. Wu and his wife dr. kang are both amazing.  that’s all you need to know.  they are helpful, knowledgeable, skillful and friendly.  they both try to explain in full detail what ails you or what your check up means.  they are also helpful on insurance questions.  very professional.  The only con is that his books and schedules are maxed out like my credit card…  =/.  he is super busy and it will be hard for you to find a time/day for your next appointment.

if you are looking for the best dentist in orange county, Dr. Wu is the best choice. I’ve been go to his office for more than 15 years. he is over competent and honest, which is not very easy to find. he is patient and polite. he will give you all information he knows for the best of your teeth. I am very grateful to find him as my dentist.

Dr. Wu is terrific!  My daughter and I have been patients for over 10 years. One year when I changed my insurance plan I had to see another dentist. I was disappointed. As soon as that year was over, I changed my insurance and returned to Michelson Dental! Friendly staff.  Rates are fair and not astronomical.

I love Dr. Wu! Although I now live in South Bay, I still commute down to Irvine for all my dental needs. He doesn’t recommend anything unnecessary and try to rip you off. Very frank and honest comments and always emphasizes the importance of preventative measures. I had to get filling here once before and he does a great job. Doesn’t shoot anaesthesia in wrong spot or burn your mouth like my previous dentists did. Super friendly staff, too. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Wu is the best!  He is extremely gentle and so knowledgeable.  He always explains in detail what he is doing for you and also never tries to sell you services you do not need.  If there is something that needs more attention, he will let you know what you should be doing correctly.  They are always on schedule and work well with the insurance companies.  If you don’t like your current dentist, go see Dr. Wu, you will be so glad you did.

Dr. Wu is a great doctor. I have been there for many time. Since my insurance doesn’t apply, I think he gave me a discount price for my crown repairing. It is a very valued place to go if you wanna fix your tooth probelm.

By far, my favorite dentist, gentle hands. He should be a primary doctor. He truly cares, explains problems and procedures in detail.

I LOVE Dr.Wu and Dr.Kang! I’ve been seeing Dr.Wu for over 15 years. My entire family including my kids go to Dr.Wu for all their dental care needs. Dr.Wu is the BEST! He cares about his patient. He is highly skilled. He is trustworthy. I feel very lucky that we have found a great dentist like him!I highly recommend Dr.Wu!

Amazing doctor! I’ve gone to him for about 12 years now and I trust him, trust him, trust him! I won’t trade him for anything! Never tried to overcharge, actually undercharges, never tried to recommend procedures I don’t need, unlike so many other dentists. Always explains what he’s doing and why. Super nice guy! I move to San Francisco and still go back to SoCal to see him!

I have been going to the Michelson Dental Office for years, with a brief hiatus in the middle due to a change in my insurance 🙁  And during those few years of going to a different dental office made me appreciate Dr. Wu and Dr. Kang even more!  
What everyone says is true, they are great! And they never try to upsell you, which is definitely appreciated (my hiatus dentist always tried to get me to get more tests/procedures than I thought was necessary – super annoying!).  They explain everything they are doing and will SHOW you when there are problem areas.  

I have tried so many dentists in Orange County and couldn’t find one nearly as qualified or amiable as Dr. Wu. Dr. Wu is really a gem and I am so glad my friend recommended him. He is super passionate about his work and always does a thorough job explaining everything to me as patient. And he does all the cleaning himself! For the first time in my life my teeth actually look more radiant and white after a simple cleaning. Excellent bedside manner. I feel like he really wants to help and never sense he is trying to upcharge me (every other dentist I had seen told me I needed unnecessary work). He is the best, highly recommend!

Dentist was great, staff was super friendly and helpful. Open Saturdays! I was fit in on a Tuesday about a week in advance, but I hear Saturdays book up months in advance. Also, they handle all the insurance stuff and bill you later, which made me very happy.  My last 2 dental offices made me pay everything when I was there and carry a balance with them once they received a reimbursement from my insurance.
I only had a cleaning and check up, but I was extremely happy with my experience.

I’ve always hated going to the dentist.  The weird smells, rude receptionists, feeling  of getting ripped off, sharp tools, getting yelled at for not flossing, objects getting jammed in your mouth, the gagging from xrays and that nasty putty they put in your mouth for impressions-yuck….I could go on and on. That’s how I felt up until I started going to Michelson Dental.   Dr. Wu and his staff are really kind and gentle and sensitive to your needs.  He won’t drill a bunch of holes in your mouth to make an extra buck, he takes a more conservative approach to dentistry.  He and his staff will explain and make sure you understand your treatment options before your visit is over. I referred a few people over the past year that I started going, and everyone is greatly pleased.

good dentist.  no issue at all.  if u dont have insurance, it’s ~$90 for cleaning if u dont have any issues.  I was wondering for my mom from taiwan. also, if u have to wait, can jump over to next door to get some food/wine

Dr. Wu is definitely one of the best dentists I have ever come across, and I have been through a few since moving here 4 years ago.  He knows what is really needed to keep teeth healthy.  His approach is refreshingly SIMPLE in comparison to all the other dentist places that try to get you to pay for way more than you need.  HIs philosophy is: brush. floss.  DONE.  He is also really good at explaining dental health – why some things are good and others just sound good.  He is always prompt and professional and his staff is friendly easy to interact with.  Really, really happy with him!!
