I was never the person to go see Doctors just for a check-up. I wait till something is wrong then I go visit the doctor. So the story is one of my tooth bleeds whenever I brush my teeth, I use the electric toothbrush so I thought I was just exerting too much force at first but it happened again and happened again so I decided there must be something wrong. I didn’t really feel any pain either so I wasn’t sure if I should waste my time making an appointment, waiting at the office, having to take half a day off and driving in traffic all didn’t sound worth it. But look at me now leaving a review for this dental office haha. I was pleasantly surprised with Wilshire Smile Studio. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable .They asked all the right questions and I never felt rushed. The doctor was super nice and explained to me what was going on and what needed to be done. Overall, I got my tooth fixed at the lowest cost possible at the fastest pace. I love this dental office. I seriously don’t think I’m going to dread setting up an appointment and coming to the dentist anymore because of them.

I absolutely love my dentist office.  No one likes going to the dentist, but my dentist and the hygienist are so nice they make sure you are comfortable and not feeling anything.  They get you in the back so fast so the wait is super short!  My orthodontist is so funny, he makes me laugh all the time even when I don’t want too.  They have done an amazing job helping me keep my teeth and mouth healthy.  They have given me back my smile!

I was having horrible headaches caused by teeth grinding. I have an HMO dental plan and i spent over a week trying find someone who would agree to treat me. Most of the dentists with good reviews had at least a month wait. Others refused to do night guards at all as the money my insurance would pay them was apparently not enough. Enter mid wilshire dental car and the fantastic dr alina! I called them and told them about my pain. The next day, I was in the dentist chair getting fitted for a nightguard! I got a cleaning as well. The staff is super nice and work fast. A fun group to chat with. And most importantly everyone has a gentle touch. The most pleasurable experience I’ve ever had in a dentist’s office! 🙂

THE BEST EVER! I actually may even like going to the dentist because of the staff. I was the kid who had lots of cavities and refused to open my mouth for the dentist and transitioned to the adult who needed root canals. Yeah, bad teeth+bad habits=hating to go to the dentist. When you walk in, there is Gwendolyn. She has the best smile, welcoming, and delightful. The dental assistants are professional, attentive, and answer my many questions. I tell them that I am VERY sensitive to pain, and I have always felt reassured by them. Now lets talk about the Doctor. Dr. Alina Tiraspolskaya is the only doctor that I would like to see for the rest of my life. I trust her. She is attentive, aware of pain sensitivity, gentle, professional, warm…and is also a perfectionist with the teeth. If I were told I needed 20 shots in my gum, she’d be my gall.
Because of Dr. Alina Tiraspolskaya & the staff, I now commit to a 6 month check up…and I currently don’t have insurance. That’s how life changing impact they have had on me. I have a new relationship with my dentist! You won’t be disappointed or scared. Promise.

I really enjoy going to Mid Wilshire Dental Care. I have TERRIBLE phobias with dentists and having my teeth done, and went years in between visits.  They were fantastic tow work with. The other thing I really like about them is they always confirm everything with your insurance, walk you through the exact payments, and completely prevent you from getting mystery bills after you get your service.   AND appointments start on time.  Seriously.  On time. Definitely a strong recommendation to go see them.

I walked into their office defensive and with an attitude…I left with a attitude adjustment and a smile on my face. I’ve neglected my teeth! I’ve put off taking care of them/me for financial reasons and poor history with Dental practitioners. I couldn’t hold off any longer and chose Mid-Wilshire Dental Care simply because they were on my dental plan and around the corner from my house. I had no high expectations. Dr Alina examined my teeth and made her recommendations. I was explained thoroughly what my plan did and did not cover by the billing staff. Money is tight and I decided that there were procedures I wasn’t willing to incur. A few minutes later Ethlyn Torre the office manager came in and was kind yet stern on what it was that I needed regarding my overall dental health. I’m a Born and Raised East Coaster. I know when Im being hustled. Not the case here. Ethlyn was genuienly concerned about my oral health. She set up a payment plan that appealed to my sensibilities and even offered to bleach my teeth FOR FREE! I recognized a few things very quickly. This office cares! They are not desperate for business but know how to do GOOD BUSINESS! I declined the bleaching because I felt that would be taking advantage of them and their superb hospitality. I suggest if you want/need exceptional dental care you make an appointment with them…and don’t try to get your teeth beached for free because I mentioned that they offered it to me.

To start, the entire staff are super friendly. The ladies at the front desk are ALWAYS really sweet when greeting you. Both my mother & I use the same dentist & they’ve taken THE BEST care of us every time. We didn’t have many funds to work with & Tori, the office manager worked out a payment plan for us (unlike other places that require you to pay right away..) My mother had gone in one day without having eaten & Tori, went and bought her a smoothie. I REALLY felt that that was the sweetest thing someone could have done. Dr. Alina & her assistants (both times) were amazing! For cleanings, fillings 🙁 eventually wisdom teeth & all of that, I’ll be going back to THIS office. Dr. Alina is GREAT! When she’s worked with me (both times) she made sure I was comfortable the entire time & that I was happy with the work that was done! I DEFINITELY recommend WILSHIRE DENTAL

You will find excellent dental care at Mid-Wilshire and a staff so very ready to help.  Torre even called our insurance company, to make certain that we are covered for the work that needs to be done.  My husband’s father was a dentist and he is very conscious of what constitutes really fine dental work with that of a lesser quality.  He has high praise for Mid-Wilshire.  The two dentists who treated us were just excellent.  Everything is explained in great detail, including costs, prior to the procedures being done.  The dental hygienists are also very skilled.  We recommend Mid-Wilshire most highly.

okay,  i am a complete wuss when it comes to going to the dentist.  i do not get numb easily so i had two root canals go horribly wrong when i was younger and get nauseated just thinking about dentistry.  so when i needed to find a new dentist i put the word out to friends.  however, i didn’t get good recommendations.  three different offices were uncool so i was on the search again.   i finally succumbed to advertising and called 1800dentist.  i told them i needed a dentist who would do some kind of sedation and midwilshire dental was on their list and close to home.   i have now been three times in the past couple of years and i’m really happy with this practice.  i see Dr. Alina Tiraspolskaya when i’m there and i really like her.  she’s thorough and funny and — most of all — she responds to my needs.  if i feel pain she stops, changes procedures or medication, and waits until i’m ready.   the other thing i like about this place is the staff seems to genuinely like each other.  they are professional and friendly and attentive.  they follow up with you but aren’t pushy.   as insanely hard as it is for me to give five stars to anything remotely related to dentistry, i have to do it.  they are top notch.

I have  had a very positive experience with Mid Wilshire Dental Care. The entire staff is friendly and doesn’t judge or make you feel bad if you had dental issues in the past. They just want to help.
