When I decided to get braces, I did my homework. I went to 3 other orthodontist before finding Dr. Mizell and I sure did make the right choice! He was so nice, and informative, and just all around great!!! I could not be happier with the way my teeth turned out. And his staff is always so nice and friendly and always made me feel important! Thank you Dr. Mizell, you ROCK!!!

The friendly atmosphere, the ease of sign-in, the convenience of toothbrushes for forgetfulness … and all the other attention to detail, indicative someone actually planned the process in advance of patient arrival. The appointment alert system – via email and phone call. And, the fact that the staff is tenured … perhaps they enjoy what they do. And, that the dentist oversees my patient care. This is the best, most well-oiled patient procedure I’ve experienced.

I appreciated the time that Dr. Mizell took to meet with us and chat, not only about orthodontic procedures but also conversation to get to know him as a person, beyond his profession. He didn’t seem rushed at all and spent a good amount of time thoroughly explaining what he wanted to do to our son’s teeth and the reasons behind why he wanted to do specific procedures. The staff has established and maintained a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere in the entire office. Dr. Mizell and his staff were very impressive

I’ve only had great experiences here and have never had a bad experience. I’m on my third child getting braces. The wait is nil to short, Dr Mizell and his staff are extremely friendly and professional. I drive in from inside the loop to go to him, too loyal to change to someone more convenient. And most importantly- my kids’ teeth look AMAZINGLY PERFECT!!

I liked how the staff was very personable and Dr. Mizell took the time and explained all our options in detail. However, we were supposed to get a call back as the staff member who was waiting on a fax back from insurance to give us information on what all is covered under insurance and our share of the cost to help us make our choice. We are still waiting on that call.

Dr. Mizell is absolutely fantastic! Every person I talk to that has been his patient has the most perfect smile and only the best things to say about him as a person and Orthodontist. I did not wear my retainer as a teenager and of course my teeth then moved. I went to see Dr. Mizell for treatment with Invisalign and I am beyond happy with my results and the entire experience. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain absolutely everything. I was not thrilled about wearing Invisalign as a 30 year old, but he made the entire process as easy as possible. I would recommend Dr. Mizell as an Orthodontist to anyone!

Dr. Mizell is the gold standard of Orthodontics… he used the Herbst appliance for my son, and after speaking to many other parents using other orthodontists, I discovered that most don’t even know what this is. GOLD STANDARD! Dr. Mizell is also steadfast and excellent at his job, and believe me when I say his skills were put to the test with us… My son needed 2+ years of severe underbite correction along with buck/gapped teeth, plus, the week before braces were scheduled to come off, we had to take an unfortunate hiatus with appointments because my son endured a severe impact to his front teeth. Fast forward 9 months after his emergency front teeth re-setting using a splint, several endodontist visits, one root canal, plus facial/lip plastic surgery later, so today, my son’s teeth now look amazing! We are so appreciative for his handsome smile!!!! Dr. Mizell is fantastic!

Dr. Mizell is an excellent orthodontist!! Quality work is most important. He is always prompt, and his staff is very friendly. During this Covid-19 crisis, the office has gone to great lengths to comply with all standards for cleanliness and hygiene. Even before the pandemic, the office was immaculate and the greatest care was taken to provide a safe experience for all.
