Dr. Mimi is very nice and gentle!  She’s really funny, always cracking jokes and making treatment feel like nothing.  She takes most PPO dental plans and doesn’t charge you more than the alloted from the insurance, very generous!  Basically, she just uses your insurance and you never see a bill unless you max out.  It’s a small office so it’s hard to get in an emergency appointment.  She does not do surgical procedures like root canal treatment, implants, or wisdom teeth extractions.  She does general and cosmetic work.  She always listens to what the patients want and does everything to make it possible.  Unless of course, it is something impossible.

 Dr. Mimi Cabanban Dental clinic certainly lives up to its declared philosphy of excellent and friendly service. Dr. Mimi has soft and stable hands in her treatment. So is her caring dental hygienist Jackie. One is in their tender care once on the dental chair. The staff are friendly and courteous. Great experience everytime. I recall I’ve been their patient for about 15 years now.

Great staff and great dentist! What more could you ask for? The place is clean, neat, and well organized. The ladies in the front are very welcoming and engaging. Dr. Mimi is very good at her job and the rest of her staff as well! Our family and my in laws have been going to them for over a decade! Never had a problem and always a service with a smile 🙂 Thank you very much Dr. Mimi and staff!

I brought my 4 year old daughter here after she had a terrible experience with another dentist. She had cavities that were hurting her so I wanted to take care of them that day. I called the office and they scheduled me for a 3pm appointment. (Perfect!) they were really great with my daughter. Super patient and explained everything they were going to do. Her father and I were able to go in with her and hold her hand through the whole process and dr. Mimi even explained to us what was going on with her teeth so we would also understand. My daughter really liked them and is now looking forward to her next appointment! (:

Dr. Cabanban has restored my teeth, many, over the years. I am not a dentist but I can answer these three questions: 1. Does the repair look good? 2. Is the repair comfortable? 3. Has the repair been durable? Answer: YES YES and YES

I had to add a yelp account just to review this dentist..I have serious issues with dentist office because as a kid I had to go often..I was a little nervous and as an adult my dental experiences have been way short of good.. But this dentist, dental assistants, and staff are amazing..got a tooth pulled my teeth cleaned without any pain or discomfort. .and with extra friendly assistance and reassurance. .Great Job everyone. .

Went here a few days ago for a cleaning and I have to say that it was fantastic. The cleaning was painless and I felt refreshed afterwards. Dr. Cabanban shows that she cares about your teeth and actually discussed issues with my teeth and how to fix it. They even had Netflix in the waiting room so my dad wasn’t bored waiting. Looking forward to coming back.

I have been coming to this dentist for over 5 years and she is exceptional very gentle very clean friendly all the staff is always kind they work with you however they can. Doctor isn’t in the business of over changing like alot of other dentists. She really cares about her patients. I love my dentist

Went in to have a follow up from my previous dentist who retired. He was amazing and it’s been hard to find another like him. My first impression – the staff. SUPER FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. They are patient and answer all your questions without attitude. Great introduction and wonderful til the end of the appointment and beyond. Then the assistant who took me back was also really kind and professional. Dr. Cabanban comes in and she is warm and personable and extremely friendly. Not uptight at all and really honest. She was super thorough and told me truthfully that I didn’t need an emergency crown to fix a crack, which another dentist has recommended at $1200, and no crack can be seen, but rather it’s a sensitive tooth because of the deep filing. She proceeded to give me other recommendations and was never pushy or sales oriented. Great customer service and all around I felt like I was not being hustled. Will be back for sure! 🙂

I’ve been a patient here for almost 10 years. Dr. Cabanban is a great dentist and she really cares about her patient. Never have a problem with her and I see her twice a year. My daughter use to be scared of dentist but she’s been Dr. CABANBAN’s patient since she was 5 yrs old and she’s 12 now and not scared anymore. Highly recommended for a dentist.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Cabanban’s for over 15 years now, which should be an indication of how pleased I’ve been with her work. She’s always very professional and friendly. I often ask many questions to make sure I understand everything I need to know about any procedure that has to be done, and Dr. Cabanban always patiently answers each and every question. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Cabanban also referred me to the orthodontist that did my braces, and I couldn’t be happier with my smile. The office is located in a great neighborhood as well.

 Dr. Cabanban is an AMAZING dentist! I moved to Long Beach about 6 years ago, but would always go back to my hometown just for my family dentist. I switched to another dentist and had a not so great experience. So, when I decided to go to Dr. Cabanban I was a little nervous, but she and her staff made everything comfortable for me. They are all very friendly and willing to help. What I love most about them is their patient education.  They showed me how to improve and efficiently take care of my teeth. They also show illustrations of what can happen to your teeth if certain conditions persist. I recommend anyone and everyone to go to Dr. Cabanban especially if you have kids. I think the illustrations will help children understand the importance of taking care of their teeth!
