DR Mindy is very advanced and enlightened on hidden dental issues like in the jaw bone.. and cavitations….she is also one of the few dentists in ohio (or anywhere) doing ozone therapy….she really helped me with the ozone and. the price was fair and not too expensive….. i wish more dentists would consider doing it..it is quite an advanced treatment for jawbone and cavitation issues…..

This is the best dentist office I have ever been to hands down. We have been clients here (7 in my family ranging from 4yrs old to 40-something;) for more than 3 years and couldn’t be happier. Our dental health has never been better and Dr. Munowitz is so knowledgeable and helpful in understanding what procedures you may or may not want. I love her holistic and natural approach to all things in her life including dentistry. Highly recommend!

I do believe there are great Dentists out there and apparently I’ve found one!! I been seeing Dr. Munowitz since October of 2018 and had my first dental cleaning at this practice. Recently, I was seen for my six month check-up. She is such a lovely woman! NEVER is she pushy! Nor does she throw you a dental plan sales pitch! Dr. Munowitz is not only kind, but rather knowledgeable and truly is compassionate about her holistic approach to dentistry. She uses purified water in her practice and no toxic chemicals are EVER used. No fluoride! No mercury! Unfortunately, she is not covered under all dental insurance plans, you will have to call her practice for those details. If you must pay out of pocket it would be totally worth your while!

Had a crown replaced and it was the easiest one I ever had done. Just recently switched to Dr.Mindy Munowitz and so glad I did. All my other crowns needed impressions and a temporary crown put in and then I had to go back in a couple of weeks to get permanent crown. Not here, they have state of art equipment and no impression needed. Dr. Munowitz took pictures with computer and the crown was made right in their office. in a short time. It fit perfectly!! Her assistant, Nancy, works so well with Dr. Miunowitxz, they are a great team.

Best Dentist in Cincinnati area! Uses a holistic approach and won’t recommend unnecessary services. All natural and no chemicals are used in Dr. Munowitz’s practice (no fluoride) and uses filtered water as well. Very knowledge and uses the most up to date equipment and technology. They even have a (support animal) that can sit on your lap if you’re nervous about being there getting your teeth cleaned or having a procedure done. Booster the Pomeranian sadly passed away last May (2018) but now they have Sophie. I love that she won’t have you do x-rays once a year even if they are covered by your insurance. No one needs the extra radiation. Great attention to detail & service and always a pleasant dental office!

I decided to try Dr Munowitz specifically because I wanted a dentist with a holistic view on health but still had traditional training to address (hopefully uncommon) dental problems like fillings. Our dental hygienist was wonderful, kind and welcoming. We loved Christina! She was thorough and informative, she explained everything to the kids along the way and kept them comfortable. Seeing Dr Mindy was also very positive. She is very knowledgeable on finding the least invasive treatment option. We’re very grateful to know she has Myobrace options to help prevent the need for braces and she is also experienced with removing & replacing mercury fillings carefully. We switched dental insurance to one that works well with her office because we value their care here so much.

An amazing experience with a partial crown and small filling. I loved the holistic approach from cleaning to the dental procedures. The first time I haven’t had some sort of negative reaction to a dental procedure. Dr. Munowitz and Nancy listened to my concerns (and prior experiences), talked me through each step prior to having my procedure. Best Dentist hands down. I had been to 2 other dentists and they were rushed with their answers and insisted that I needed a root canal. They were quick to recommend procedures that I did not need. Munowitz was able to save my tooth from a root canal (or pulling it which would have been my preferred route – look up health issues with root canals). 3 years later and that tooth is as healthy as ever and has not given me any trouble since she filled my tooth properly!! She has a more natural approach which is always better. It’s hard to find as good of a Dentist as Mindy! Great staff!

I went in to see Dr. Munowitz for the first time today. I am blown away by her knowledge and her amazing will to help. I am not an easy case. I have a ton of amalgam I want replaced. And yet she didn’t want a full crown for my molar, instead she decided on the much harder onlay just to give me (a virtual stranger) the best result. I drive almost an hour to see her and I would recommend her to anyone who cares about their health.

I rarely write reviews but I felt it was important, as it can be challenging to find a dentist you trust. Dr. Munowitz and her staff are incredible. Not only are they willing to listen and answer any questions/concerns I had, they also take a holistic approach which was important to me (and hard to find) in a dentist. I’ve been a patient of Dr Munowitz since I was in my teens. I have always gotten excellent treatment. My TMJ was corrected through the use of braces and now I have no more jaw clicking, pain, or headaches! I have had fillings and have never had any complications. I can be somewhat of a dental phobic but I am always made to feel comfortable and far from nervous at her office. My daughter is now a patient as well, she is 4 and has been seeing doctor Munowitz since 3 years old! She loves going to the dentist. Dr Munowitz even fixed a dis colored tooth with bonding so now she no longer has one very dark tooth. We LOVE Dr Munowitz and couldn’t imagine going to any other dentist. Quality treatment, reasonable cost, knowledgeable staff, professional and caring atmosphere

I went there to remove the mercury filling as a way to start healthy. The process was a four hour long that I dreaded. However, she is responsive, attentive and patient. I appreciated the attention during the process. She does not engage in small talks, or exclude patient to chat with the assistant like others do. She wouldn’t leave my side until my bite felt perfect to me. She was never dismissive of my concerns as my former dentist did. She made me feel like I was her only patient. I could not talk with my mouth ajar, but she stopped frequent to give me a short bathroom break, change my bib, change the music on her ipod for me, aNNYthing I wanted. I did not want to pay the costly price of tending to my locked jaws at night (TMJ), but for the past 4 nights I noted that it went away. I paid for a retainer which I won’t need. My teeth look great. My migraines went away and I am relieved to have found a great dentist.

Dr. Munowitz is seriously the most personable dentist I’ve ever met! I always enjoy my appointments with her and asking questions – she is a WEALTH of information. I really appreciate her meticulous approach to amalgam removal – it’s SAFE!!! Other dentists don’t even realize that this is an issue and consequently don’t take the necessary precautions – to the detriment of their patients. Seriously, AWESOME dentist, amazing practice!

My first visit was amazing. I came in for a consultation – a second opinion. Turns out I do. Or. We’d the work done as suggested by another dentist. I also have a horrible gah reflex and the prior dentist would try and shove bite wings in my mouth to the point I would almost throw up. Dr Munowitz and her team were gentle and kind and we were able to use kid bite wings to successfully get bite wings. The energy of the office is wonderful today. Quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. I highly recommend this office. My whole family will be transitioned here ASAP.

As most of us know going to the dentist is not the most enjoyable thing to do. With that said when you walk in Thelma at the front desk always has a smile on her face greeting you when you walk in. The office is fresh and bright. Lori the Hygienist that worked on me was wonderful both in her personality and her work. The advanced technology and equipment they have you feel comfortable and safe. Let me say right off the bat that I am very particular about who I let work on my teeth. I had an excellent dentist growing up and into young adulthood. After moving to from Southeastern Kentucky to Cincinnati in 2005, I found myself needing to find a new dentist. I can’t recall exactly how I stumbled upon Dr. Munowitz, but I’m beyond thankful I found her. She’s worked on my teeth several times now and all has gone well. Very well. Dr. Munowitz and her staff are super friendly and there’s just generally speaking a good atmosphere in the office. As another reviewer here said, Dr. Munowitz is holistic in her approach to medicine/dentistry. That’s important to me–especially since I was previously a victim of medical malpractice and my trust in doctors compromised. I do not want work done on my teeth unless absolutely necessary and Dr.Munowitz has that same philosophy. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it as they say. The horror stories about people winding up with All in all, I love this dentist. Like most everyone else, I dread going to the dentist. At least I did. Dr. Munowitz has definitely helped change that.

Dental anxiety is real and going to the dentist can be a tramatizing experience. I can say hands down that I never once felt any of those feelings with Dr. Munowitz. One of the best dental offices I’ve ever been to. I did not have many cavities but had lots of chipped teeth that I felt were very unattractive. Dr. Munowitz has top of the line whitening systems and with no pain at all was able to make my teeth look natural and beautiful again. I am so happy to have found Dr. Munowitz and will be going to her forever.

I have been searching for a holistic dentist for some time and glad I was able to find one only 40 minutes down the road. I was very impressed with Dr. Munowitz and her staff. They are all so friendly and everything is state of the art. I have a thyroid condition and I was so thankful they had a collar to block the radiation from my neck for the x-rays. Also, impressed that they do everything they can to minimize radiation and most patients only have x-rays done once every two years vs. every year. It truly is a holistic approach as they care about how your body affects your teeth and vice versa. They are not pushy about it but you can tell they care as they recommend other services in their office through pamphlets for local farms, natural doctors for thermography, etc… I am so thankful to finally have found a holistic dentist that is very good at what she does as well as her staff. They are all amazing! I highly recommend Dr. Munowitz and her wonderful staff!!!

I highly recommend Mindy Munowitz, DDS for dentistry. The work that I have had involves cleanings and also bite guard-related. The cleanings are done in a way so they migrate from the cleaning to the pick (soft clean to hard clean). Each dental hygienist that I’ve had does that same process. They also use Ozone water pre-rinse and a Organic mouth wash post-irrigation. My wife and children also go here and enjoy their experience. I have not had any issues with billing. They are out of network for me but the price is reasonable. Highly recommended.

Dr. Munowitz and her staff are fabulous! They are kind gentle when working on our teeth and wonderful at working out insurance details. Our family was Thelma’s first time submitting claims for United Concordia (military dental), and she was persistent when UC gave her the runaround! The result is that now Dr. Munowitz is in their system and they are reimbursing at the out-of-network cost rates, which is worth it for the top quality natural care we recieve!
