A really outstanding dental office. I have been going for years, and recommend Minnehaha Falls Family Dental to all my family and friends. The staff is professional and so welcoming. They are excellent at keeping the visit comfortable and relaxing (for those of us with dental anxiety), and have been very accommodating. I broke a tooth in half at the end of the work day, biked over, and they were able to see me and make the situation bearable until I could get to an oral surgeon. In my book, the best dental office in the cities.

Best dental experience I’ve ever had. Excellent intake process, friendly staff, strong adherence to COVID protocols, and the most thorough and well-explained patient exam I’ve ever had. Dr. Swenson and her team clearly take teaching patients seriously, and it makes a big difference! Can’t recommend this clinic highly enough.

I love these people! They listen to their patients needs and concerns. I’ve never felt uncomfortable with the hygienist nor the doctor. The people at the front desk are great communicators and leave you feeling well taking care of on your way out the door. As a person of color I’ve felt uncomfortable and unimportant at nomourus dentistries, but this practice makes certain that they’re patients are treated with the upmost respect.

I recently moved across the river from Mpls to farmington, I have changed my health care providers to the dakota county area, but I will not change my dental clinic. The staff and providers are all excellent, front desk staff are always bright and friendly even when I have the first morning appointment. I always know what my cost will be in advance when any treatment is recommended. The care by my hygienist and provider is exceptional.

I’ve been a patient at this dental clinic since 2016 and have always received excellent care delivered in a caring manner from Dr. Swenson and from the dental hygienists and assistants. I’m particularly impressed with the clinic’s careful attention to employing a comprehensive Covid-19 protocol to keep patients and staff safe. They even have portable air purifiers throughout the clinic. I’m in a higher risk category due to age. I felt very safe when they reopened in early June. The clinic’s office staff are very professional and helpful, too. I highly recommend Minnehaha Falls Family Dental.

I have been going to Jakubas Dental for 3+ years, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this clinic & the staff. I came to Jakubas needing quite a few fillings– I knew it was coming and was just dreading it. But my dental hygienist & Dr. Swenson really put me at ease, breaking down the work into chunks done over the course of a few months. I was able to get all the dental work I needed, and for much less than what fillings had cost me at my last dentist downtown Minneapolis. The front office staff is really great about being flexible with scheduling, explaining bills, and helping understand dental benefits. The office itself is very clean & bright, on a busy intersection of Minnehaha & 46th, but there is usually parking in their private lot, and there is always street parking nearby. The chairs recently got massagers in them which I am crazy about– and the hygienists really work to make you comfortable and make a cleaning a nice experience.

Great service, great staff, great practice! I had unusual pain in my gum over the weekend and even as a new patient, they got me in right away on Monday morning. From the office manager (Kathy), to the hygienist (Kara), to the doctor (Jenna Swenson), everyone was kind, patient, gentle and considerate. They even have little massagers in their chairs. Kathy was especially helpful getting me in right away and then helping me find a same-day(!) referral to a root canal specialist (they do root canals, just not the kind that I needed). Highly recommend this wonderful practice!!

Friendly place. I have twins and one of them is absolutely energetic. He cannot handle to sit still per too long and Sarah, did an amazing job interacting with my son and keeping him entertained while taking care of his teeth. I do recommend this place and strongly recommend to ask for Sarah to take care of your little energetic one.

Took our kids here for their first dentist experience and the staff were exceptionally patient and friendly. They explained what they were doing and why, and what all the equipment and face goggles/masks were for so the kids felt comfortable, safe, and part of the process. They are just as friendly and thorough with adults!

I love that there is an option for gas along with Novocain. They stand behind there work, I had to have a crown replaced because it broke, it was a bad casting made by another company, but I got it replaced for free … try finding that an ANY other company.

This is practice is outstanding. They are excellent dentists and dental assistants. Their equipment is up-to-date. They are fastidious about cleanliness without being overbearing. The atmosphere is warm and friendly without being excessive. The work they do is top-rate and they do not press clients for procedures about which the client is still considering. They communicate very well and give you detailed information about the work they are doing or plan to do.

As always, I am very happy to have Jakubas Dental (now Minnehaha Falls Dental) take care of my “teeth” needs and maintenance.  (I’ve lost count of the number of years I have been coming to them.  A friend initially recommended them for me).  My appointment yesterday was thorough, the hygienist and the dentist were friendly, careful and attentive to my questions.  The accounting receptionist spent extra time with me to make sure I understood my insurance options (I had to switch health insurance this year) and she clarified how things would work under the new plan I am considering.

My family has been going to Jakubas Dental, now Minnehaha Falls Dental for nearly 23 years. We always receive the finest dental care in a friendly and compassionate environment. We have since moved from Minneapolis to Shakopee and continue to have Dr. Jakubas and Dr. Swanson provide our dental care. We wouldn’t have it any other way, the doctors and their staff are simply the best!

It’s so hard to find a good dentist. This being my first dentist visit needed since I moved to the area they were fantastic and I will be sticking with them! Very personal and professional! I had chipped my front tooth and half of my tooth was missing, they made my smile look good as new again! Very happy with the results and their pleasant customer service and personal accommodations with anything I needed and very knowledgeable for any questions or concerns I had. I definitely recommend them!

I switched to Minnehaha Falls Family Dental about a year ago after my former dentist retired. I’m very impressed with all aspects of this practice. The dentists and hygienists are exceptionally skilled and compassionate, and the administrative staff are friendly, efficient, and organized. I could not ask for more!

Dental hygienist was thorough and provided information on issues or areas that I had questions or concerns about. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Questions were answered completely by the dentist. They are monitoring ongoing issues and provide information about the status. I highly recommend this clinic.

I have been a client for over five years. They are quick to get you in if you have a dental emergency and very kind. They never pressure you to take x-rays, get fluoride rinses, or come in for cleanings. Their office is beautiful, cheerful, and the people working there seem to enjoy their jobs. They are always clear about costs and handle insurance smoothly. Top notch!

I have been coming to Jakubus dental for over 7 years now and honest to God – I travel up from Florida to come here. Friendly, honest, supportive, and helpful from administrative staff, dental hygienist, to the dentists themselves. I love love love them. They are especially helpful for military personnel since they take TriCare and are use to filling out the military forms – they even have extra on hand! 🙂 I highly recommend anyone coming here. – even people with anxiety coming to the dentist like myself are put at ease. They have laughing gas which I pay for when I have a cavity, their dental chairs have massagers, blankets if your cold, and overall have more holistic approach. Can’t recommend them enough!!!

I brought my 3 year old son in for his first ever dentist appointment. The hygienist was amazing! She made it not scary. She made up fun names for all the tools and tested everything on his hand before putting it in his mouth (“tooth tickler” for the polisher thingie, “vacuum” for the suction, etc.). Dr. Swanson, her hygienst, and other staff put no pressure on my son. If he seemed scared by something, they stopped. He didn’t like Dr. Swanson special examining glasses and she took them off for him. Later that day, my son asked to go back to the dentist!
