Mint Dental is the best dental experience I have ever had. I have seen both Dr. Kassam and Dr. Bradshaw and both have been wonderful. Dr. Kassam redid a very deep filling for me and did it carefully and effectively. It hasn’t bothered me since! Both Dr. Bradshaw and Dr. Kassam are great listeners and respond very quickly. Neither have tried to push unnecessary and expensive procedures, which I greatly appreciate. 🙂 The other staff at the office is very helpful and kind as well. Lastly, I have gone during the pandemic and they seem to have good procedures and systems in place to keep everyone safe!

The team at Mint DC have been amazing for me. After not going to the dentist for a while I was dreading it. Thanks to the team at Mint DC I got through the deep clean and started Invisalign. They are responsive, flexible, friendly and in general good people! The only thing to make it better would be a puppy to cuddle while getting a cleaning!

My FACEBOOK FAMILY, Just want to give Brother Dr. Eric Bradshaw, DDS a huge shoutout for taking care of my toothe ache today. I called yesterday evening with a complaint of pain and was immediately scheduled for this morning at 10:30 a.m. His staff is very competent and professional. State of Art equipment and prompt attention made a lasting impression. My three (3) children had already been Dr. Bradshaw’s patients. I first came to Mint in 2016 after a horrible experience with a dentist that destroyed my mouth with six crowns, many of which were not needed. I love that I have a lifetime dentist that I can trust with any cavities, and that Is transparent. I know she will never recommend a procedure that isn’t warranted. Open lines of communication are key and thus practice knows how to deliver on premium dental care. Highly recommended!!

Mint Dental is one of the best dental practice in Washington DC. I have tried several other offices over the years, and this one is by far my favorite. The staff is very friendly, and I have not experienced billing issues or overcharging (which seems far too common in other practices). Additionally, my hygienist, Darianne, has always been very accommodating in working with my schedule (even when it changes last minute), not to mention her work is incredible… true customer service! I would highly recommend Mint Dental to anybody in the DC area.

I LOVED every bit of my experience at Mint Dental. The office is bright, clean, and echoes the warmth of everyone who works at Mint. I am so grateful for my experience with Mint and would recommend this practice to anyone. And this is coming from someone who hates going to the dentist. I am relatively new to DC, and I went to Mint after avoiding the dentist for a year to get my first ever cavities filled. I found Mint online through my insurance, knew nothing about it, and I was dreading my appointment. I was totally surprised and touched by how well I was treated at Mint. The whole front desk staff, Martin, and Dr. Bradshaw could not have been more welcoming, warm, and professional. I ended up going to 3 appointments at Mint for a consult, filling, and cleaning, and actually found myself looking forward to seeing the team- they provided so much personalized care and made me feel safe and supported. Dr. Bradshaw was deeply sensitive to my fear of needles, and made my fillings as gentle and pain-free as possible. Again, Mint is simply the best. THANK YOU!

I write this review as a person who really hates going to the dentist. Those awful X-ray test. My bad gag reflexes. The nervous thought of a dentist doing something wrong and hitting a nerve. Those are the fears that go through my head when I think about going to the dentist. In the past I have hated all the dentist that I have visited. I rarely go back and I only go if I have an emergency. As a health consumer I want the best care possible and I thought I would never find a dentist that I would like or for that matter trust. 2 days ago I chipped my tooth, I was not in a lot of pain and was well aware that it was the weekend and to get treatment would be costly. I decided to wait for Monday. First thing Monday morning, I woke up and called around. Most dental offices would not take me. I then saw Mint Dental appear in my google search and decided to call. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! The receptionist was very helpful. She said she would speak to all the doctors and see who would take me. Almost immediately she informed me that she has spoken to Dr. Bradshaw and he would be able to help. He had a busy schedule but would move things in order to help me. WhenI arrived to the dental office I noticed that it was very clean. That is number one in my things to look. 2, It was very modern. Doctor Bradshaw was quick and was very knowledgeable. He made me aware of everything that was about to happen. He was gentle when he did the X-ray. I was WOW, that was the easiest X-ray ever, i didn’t gag or anything. He was very quick and showed what he was doing on a tv screen. He made a few jokes to put me at ease when he injected me with numbing injection (I didn’t feel a thing and I didn’t panic because I have a huge fear of needles). He made me feel at ease and his ability to explain things assured that I would not panic. The best thing was that he played the music I wanted to hear. This put me at ease. When he was done I was like wow, I had nothing to worry about. He also made my teeth look like nothing ever happened. Best Experience Ever! So coming back on the regular. I even scheduled a follow up to get my teeth cleaned and a few other things I need really badly.

I am a travel nurse, temporarily in DC. My crown came off while I was at work. I was able to get a same day appointment and have my crown cemented back in place. I was fearful that I might have to go through a sales pitch and would be talked into a new crown, but that didnt happen. I highly recommend, especially to the out of towners who have dental emergencies.

I have a genuine fear of the dentist. My former dentist had calmed my fears, but moved away two years ago. I finally I decided it was time to stop putting off finding a new dentist and found Dr. Bradshaw in walking distance from my home. From the front desk to the hygienist to Dr. Bradshaw, the entire experience was superb! I’m actually excited about getting to the bottom of all of my dental issues and feel like I’ll be in great hands!

I can’t say enough good things about Mint Dental. After trying several dental offices in DC the past two years, I am so glad I finally ended up at Mint. First, their skills and knowledge: I have been seen by Dr. Bradshaw recently (and Dr. Kassam in the past). They are outstanding. I completely trust their technical skills and their scientific knowledge. The work I have had done has been well explained to me in terms of dental research and practice and the most advanced tools (i.e., scanning teeth for a foto image that then allows a crown to be tailor-designed in-house) are utilized to conduct procedures. In additional to being a talented dentist, Dr. Bradshaw is very easy to talk to and answers questions readily. To me, the whole staff is similar to Dr. Bradshaw in that they are all very professional and friendly while also being extremely knowledgeable. From The hygienist to the technicians and front desk staff, it’s been a positive experience receiving service at Mint. Finally, the office themselves are clean, brightly lit, comfortable and easy to find (steps from Red Line). You can also make appointments online which is incredibly convenient. I would venture to say Mint Dental is one of DC’s top dental practices if not THE top practice.

I was referred here by my orthodontist and I was blown away! Everyone was super friendly from the time I came in. Michelle went above and beyond by re-requesting my X-rays from my orthodontist. After checking in I was taken to the back my Mimi – my dental hygienist – and was delighted by her personality. After several unimpressionable visits at other practices I was happy to be in a warm, comforting environment. Mimi and Dr. Bradshaw were truly a delight. If you’re looking for a new dentist this is the place to be.

I’d like to start by saying that I hate going to the dentist. I think they’re pricey and for the pain, it’s just not worth it. Mint Dental doesn’t fit into the box I’ve placed all other offices into. I don’t feel as if they’re nickel and diming me for other services that aren’t necessary and I actually leave excited to return. I came in last week with a cracked tooth, exposed dental cement and a host of other issues. Dr. Bradshaw was extremely gentle in the way he cared for my tooth. He explained that it couldn’t be saved and even though I knew this would result in spending MORE money, I knew he was telling me the god-honest truth. It’s VERY difficult to find a dentist whose passion shows before they even speak to you. I’m happy to say that I finally, after years of searching, have found a place I can recommend to others. During my extraction, I experienced very little discomfort. Afterwards, I didn’t need ANY pain medication. He’s by far the best in the business! My next appointment will be for a bridge and it’s the first time in my life that I’m looking forward to being in that chair. I hope I can be on the road to better oral health now. Thank you for your amazing work! Your staff are all wonderful and even dealt with me being totally out of it today lol please apologize to your front desk lady Janay? I think that’s her name. See you all soon!

I’ve been going to Mint for a year. It has totally changed my opinion about going to the dentist. They put whatever artist you want to hear on Pandora, which certainly makes the experience more enjoyable. The hygienists are super friendly and go out of the way to make getting your teeth cleaned suck less. While the requirement of a new patient consult visit before your first cleaning isn’t ideal, it’s worth it for a good dentist.

Mint Dental DC is the best! The front desk staff of Nyasia, Jeanine and especially Michelle are so efficient, friendly and helpful. Michelle was very proactive in researching and explaining my dental plan’s coverage while simultaneously scheduling a convenient appointment. Dr. Bradshaw has treated my children since 2014. They love him. His chair side manner is second to none. The technology employed is state of the art ensuring high quality treatment and care. Mint Dental DC is a gold mine! Dr.Bradshaw is simply the best! Dentistry is a field where it’s hard to find a dentist that is excellent at their work and very friendly and they have great chair side manner. his passion for excellent work is second to none if he moves his business out of state I may have to follow!

I highly recommend Dr. Bradshaw for cosmetic dentistry, crowns, and veneers. I had to get my 6 front crowns reconstructed after a previous dentist had left them far less than perfect and the cement was showing through at the root which was disheartening after the time and money I put into them. At first I was nervous about investing in getting my crowns redone again and didn’t know where to go but Dr. Bradshaw eased my nerves, had excellent bedside manner, expressed he loves doing this kind of work so I could tell his heart was in it, and my crowns came out immaculate! He went over the shape and shade I was going for and was very detail oriented. I didn’t want them “celebrity” white but slightly whiter than my natural color. I couldn’t be happier. I now feel super confident about my teeth. I’ll keep going back to Dr. Bradshaw for all future procedures. It also was relatively pain free and Dr. Bradshaw would provide me with an injection of a painkiller whenever it started to wear off. I didn’t really feel much soreness during recovery the next few days either. Also, I got insurance directly through their office rather than paying through my employer which helped lower the cost. I didn’t even know you could do that but it’s definitely worth it. Oh and the office itself and technology are super modern. I was impressed that the mold of my teeth was done with a 3D tech device rather than the apparently old school mold my previous dentist used. I thought that maybe that was just my own experience but my roommate goes to Mint Dental as well and agreed its very modern. Finally, the staff at the desk were very nice as well which is so important to feel good about a procedure, no matter how good the dentist/doctor is

I had such a good experience at Mint Dental today! I had to go in for an emergency exam after my toddler head butted me and knocked one of my teeth loose. They were able to see me immediately, and the dentist and hygienist took turns keeping an eye on my son. I really appreciate how accommodating and child friendly they were. They are also in a convenient location, with plenty of free street parking.

I’ve been a client of Dr. Bradshaw of Mint Dental for a couple years now.  To this date, I don’t have any complaints on the services that he’s provided.  When i come in, i have tons of questions and Dr. Bradshaw gladly answers them, which is good because i am very particular and want to ensure i am receiving the best treatment and options applicable and available.  Particularly, i had internal bleaching done to my teeth for a non vital tooth and so far so good!   Things that aren’t covered by insurance are a little expensive (i.e. root canal, crown), but i suppose that’s to be expected.  All in all, i’ve had pleasant experiences with the entire staff and I’d recommend Dr. Bradshaw as a go to dentist.

I first discovered Mint Dental a few years ago and visit twice a year for check-ups and cleanings. If I could give ‘Dentist of the Year Award’, I give Mint Dental a plaque. Thorough, timely, pick your tunes, friendly, professional staff…Mint Dental exceeds my expectations! When I leave Mint Dental, I feel like a king…hold the crown. I don’t just go to the dentist at tooth-hurty anymore, Mint Dental has made an impression!

I have to say that I am very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, and bed side manner of all the staff at this office. I mean where else can you go to have your teeth cleaned and jam out to your favorite Jay Z pandora station. On top of that, due to my unpredictable work schedule I had an appointment that I had to reschedule last minute. When. I explained to the staff the nature of my job, they were all too understanding and waived the cancellation fee.

Very patient and they take a lot of time to answer all questions, both the dental team and the insurance team. They took so much time to explain all my options, the reasons for the work I need and answered all of my questions. Not once did I feel rushed or hurried. They made sure I had all the information I needed and took the time to do it. And to top it off, they let me bring my bicycle inside so I don’t have to lock it outside.

I am not sure why Dave (other Yelper) had such a negative impression because this place is awesome. Professional. Considerate. Efficient. Compassionate. Punctual. Everything you would want in a dentist or someone using sharp objects in your mouth. The space is very nice and conducive to all ages. There is a dentist on hand that specializes in child care and one who specializes in adults. The hygienist are very knowledgeable and listen to the patients’ concerns. I convinced my wife (who is deathly afraid of dentist) to utilize Mint. She had a pleasant experience (finally!) and will be back. It is unfortunate that the other yelper had such a poor experience. I say go and see for yourself – based on my recent experience I can not imagine anyone writing a negative review of this practice. Even if you are deathly afraid of the sharp objects in your mouth…this is your best option.

First of all… Is this a dentist office or a modeling agency? Every dentist, receptionist, tech, janitor, etc is beauty and brains. My mouth is so happy to be in the capable hands of this office. I am happy to have found the Northeast DC gem. They have been so flexible to accommodate my schedule. I get to rock out to my own playlist through the speakers in my room. Check out technology plus hygiene. Lol

I would definitely recommend Mint Dental. I found out about this place from my former professor. It was a great choice for me. The place is a great dentistry. But the place does have some room for improvements. I’ll speak on both the pros and the cons. Pros: 1.) The place is BLACK OWNED. I love that. I love supporting a Black owned business that is great quality. 2.) The Dentist. My dentist (Eric Bradshaw) is a Howard grad like me and overall a good guy. I consider him an honest man and a very competent dentist. I trust him. And it’s very important that I TRUST my dentist and Doctors. 3.) The place is very clean and they even play music that helps keep you calm if you’re a person with moderate anxiety. 4.) The Dentist actually EXPLAINS what he’s about to do. I’m not sure what others have experienced, but I’ve had dentist in the past who are annoyed when patients ask questions. Bradshaw is not one of those types. He actually explains any questions you have and takes his time. I like that. 5.) The hygienist is legit. My hygienist’s name is Darianne. She does good work. Cons: 1.) Crowns. The crowns look like and feel like real teeth. I’ve never seen anything like it. I love that. But they tend to crack. 🙁 I myself had two crack or break in a one year span. This is the only major complaint I have about Mint Dental. But now Mint Dental offers a warranty program that allows patients to replace cracked crowns for up to 5 years for a moderate fee. That’s great. I wish that program existed when I first got my crowns. I would’ve saved money. And I currently have a crown that doesn’t qualify according to the way the program rules are set up. So I am just praying to God it doesn’t crack in the next few years. 2.) The parking. The parking is not that good. It’s essentially street parking and sometimes it’s hard to find a space during my appointments. I wish the place was at a different location, but it’s okay. Overall: Mint Dental is one of the best facilities I’ve been too. It’s run pretty well. Even though I’ve had issues with the crowns I’d still give this place a great rating. They’ve earned it.

Warning: Long review, but this place deserves all the time it takes to write and read it. I recently changed insurance plans which meant finding a new, in network, dentist. After doing some research, I ran across some stellar review for Dr. Bradshaw at Mint Dental. I decided to give it a go. I called to make the appoint and the receptionist was friendly, helpful, and efficient. When I arrived today I was greeted very warmly and guided through the new patient registration process in a snap. Even though I was super early I was taken back right away! The assistants, Chanel and Ashely were super friendly and professional. Then comes Mimi! Mimi is a force and I mean this in the best way. She walked in and the room immediately got brighter. She was funny, friendly, she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years, and SHE KNOWS HER SH*T! I never found periodontics as interesting as I did today. She did her thing and turned me over to Dr. Bradshaw. These two are the perfect team! Where Mimi makes you feel like you want to dance while talking about dental cleanings, Dr. Bradshaw was a perfect calming presence- just radiating kindnessHe sat completely still and made (and kept) eye contact the entire time we were talking. This NEVER happens anymore. He was gentle during the exam and put me right at ease even though I knew I was going to need some work. After the exam, he sat and discussed options moving forward, and again, eye contact the whole time. He spoke to me like a person and not just another mouth he had to dig around in. I have to say that this was as perfect as a dental visit can be. I think the thing that really sets the tone is that these folks are genuine. They genuinely care and they treat you that way. I’ve never left a dental appointment feeling happier than when I left. The power of kindness, I guess. All this to say, I’ve found my new dental home, and if you are looking for one too, you should run- not walk, to the team at Mint Dental!

Yesterday evening I cracked my filling. I was in and out of the office a day later in less than an hour, and was able to schedule an appointment at Mint Dental on Rhode Island Ave in very short notice. I have seen Dr. Bradshaw twice and he is excellent. He is extremely transparent, and used photos to show me each individual tooth. He explained everything in detail, and worked quickly and efficiently to fix my tooth pain. I am now happily eating a bagel pain free! Highly recommend

All of my life I have never had really great teeth, good but not great. Normally it was my back teeth that were the issue, but this incident was with my smile. One of my front four teeth cracked off. I was mortified. I live to smile and laugh, but now with most of a front tooth gone…. I just couldn’t. On Monday I called Mint Dental after a quick Google search for dentists within a short drive. The receptionist that answered was extremely friendly and professional. She listened to my case fully and was able to get me squeezed into the schedule for the next morning bright and early. Upon arriving I was able to find 2 hour free parking rather easily. It’s location is directly next to a bus stop as well. The building is well maintained and looks newly renovated. The modern styled waiting area has a nice little drink bar with the usual coffee, tea, and water options as well as a TV set playing the many options now available in modern dentistry. The receptionist was able to get me all checked in easily. She told me that because of the schedule I would have to wait. I did not mind waiting at all. I observed that everyone who had a non last minute appointment was being served very quickly. So I am sure when I schedule a regular appointment that will be the case. The procedure rooms were quite nice. I found it relaxing to hear songs that I know and love being played. Also I really enjoyed the large tinted windows. I was able to watch the city carrying on without me until I was greeted by the Dental Assistant, also very friendly and professional. You can tell by how everyone speaks that they all really enjoy working there and they all know what they are doing. Everyone’s bedside manor was just astonishing. They walked me through every step of what they were doing as they were doing it and they were very clear in their instructions of what they needed from me. Especially Dr. Bradshaw. All I had to was raise my hand and he stopped the procedure quickly so we were able to make any adjustments to make me more comfortable. You can tell just by how he works that he really loves what he does and he also cares about everyone in his chair. Also the whole staff is very knowledgeable about the innovative technologies they have to offer. In my case it was really cool to watch as they used the 3D printer to create my new crowns and then installed them almost as easily as they printed them all in the same day. I am so very happy with my new teeth. They match the rest of my teeth in color perfectly and the natural look of my smile is still intact. I really cannot get over how pretty my smile is now. It is absolutely astonishing. Thank you Mint Dental for helping me to smile confidently for the first time.

Love Dr. Bradshaw! He knows me by first name, recognized me under my mask even though I’ve grown my hair in, and always makes me feel important as a patient. He even remembers things I’ve told him about my life, and asks me how those things are going. Had an awesome experience at Mint. First off being seen on a Saturday is huge for me, as I work in Baltimore, and coming late/leaving early from work doesn’t work well for me. I was seen by Oscar Cintron, who was very friendly and personable. He did an excellent job of explaining what he was doing and why. He also did a good job of giving me positive feed back and not focusing only on my dental issues. The office is new and very clean, even with snow and salt littering the sidewalks their floors are well kept. The dental chair I was in, was facing a one way window (mirror on the outside) that had a nice view. . . of 4th st? Well the liquor store looked nice in the sun light. They played music and asked what I would like to listen to. This led to a conversation about music, shows, and my job making speakers. I feel like this is a little gesture that goes a long way. All in all I never felt hustled by hidden fees or useless procedures. They were very down to earth and professional. I would highly recommend Mint to anyone looking for a new dentist, as I can honestly say that this was my best experience at any dentist.
