I was surprised to get a call this morning for a cleaning appointment after previously being told that scheduling was looking at March 2022 at the earliest, and I’m glad I was able to make the appointment work today as I’d been unable to do so during the brunt of COVID. It was nice to get back in for a cleaning and X-rays and I felt comfortable throughout. I also got a 3D model taken of my teeth and gums which was fascinating and will hopefully be helpful to track in the future as time passes and changes happen.

Dr. Avery is a wonderful person and dentist. Over the last three or so years, Dr. Avery has helped me through several dental issues, even a fear of needles that I’d had since childhood. She and her staff have always been extremely kind, compassionate and professional. I’ve moved around the US over the course of the last year, and hands down, she is the best. I highly recommend Mint Dental.

I LOVE Dr. Lauren. I have been going to Mint Dental since I moved back to Tulsa from New York in 2011. She has always been kind, funny and light hearted. I have had my teeth cleaned here several times, as well as a filling and she even put a beautiful porcelain veneer on one of my teeth. Every visit has been easy and fulfilling. I can’t imagine anyone having a poor experience here. Mint Dental is highly recommended on my list!

The staff were friendly and efficient! My hygienist, Brittany, was lovely and did a great job. The cleaning was painless, but felt very thorough. The dentist was very kind. He listened to the concerns I have had with previous dentists and was very intentional to make sure I was comfortable and we explored ranges of options that I felt more comfortable with. I did not feel like I was pressured to buy any specific treatments, but left with several ways to protect my teeth long term. I am excited to go back in 6 months.

Great new dental office. State-of-the-art equipment, environmentally friendly furnishings, and two young but very skilled doctors that definitely care for your needs. I have been in care with them at their old practice where both of them have been working together. Have always been satisfied but their new “own” practice is a lot better. The surroundings are fresh (minty green) and untypical for a dental place. They have flat screen tvs in the patient rooms on which they can show you your x-rays and explain what needs to get done. All in all a very pleasant experience and I feel well taken care of in their hands.

I have been looking for a new Dentist in the Tulsa area. I decided to get an exam and cleaning at Mint Dental to get a feel for the atmosphere and see what they could offer for my dental needs. I was so impressed. From the receptionist who I spoke with to book the appointment, the hygienist, the financial coordinator, to the Doctor. They were all so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The Doctor was very thorough and gave options that would best fit my needs. Easily the best experience I’ve had in a long time.

My family’s experience with Mint Dentistry was a positive one. The office has a clean, cozy, modern feel. We have made more than one visit there recently and it was the same friendly service every time. There were no painful long waits. Shortly after my son’s appointment times they were in the chair. They both had to have some fillings done and both have had no issues with pain from the procedures, during or after. Billing was not a bad experience either. When I had my permanent retainer come loose, I knew I needed to make an appointment but was a little hesitant due to COVID-19. I had already skipped a March appointment because of pandemic fears, but Mint Dental made me feel safe because of the amount of precautions they were taking. Before my appointment, I waited in my car (the waiting room is closed for safety) and they let me know by phone when it was safe to enter. When I first walked in the building, I was asked a series of questions to make sure I have not been exposed to the virus in the last 14 days. All the staff in the building were wearing masks, but my hygienist and the dentist both wore N95-grade masks and face shields while they worked on my teeth. In addition to this, all the surfaces in my exam room I touched were covered in replaceable plastic and they had a HEPA-air filter constantly cleaning out the air. If you have been putting off a dental appointment because of the pandemic, Mint Dental is doing their absolute best to make it safe for you. Brittani always does a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Lauren got my retainer situation taken care of quickly during my cleaning visit. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, which is a huge problem since I have had tons of cavities and several root canals. It’s always a dilemma when I move to a new city because it can take time to find a good dentist. I got very very lucky finding this place! This is a trendy, small company run by a husband and wife. Everyone is super friendly and they treat you like you’re old friends who REALLY matter. They care about each and every patient. And, most importantly, they are skilled at what they do and can fix cavities virtually pain free. And for those of you who are terrified of the dentist they can even provide you the “laughing gas” for an extra charge.

I had such a great experience with Mint Dental today! As a new guest, I felt comfortable right from the beginning. My hygienist, Summer, took the time to get to know me before getting started which prolonged the inevitable talking-with-tools-in-mouth moment! Any concerns that I had about my teeth while talking with her were communicated to Dr. Avery and we thoroughly discussed all of the potential options. As it was my first visit, very nice, caring people. Got in right away, got my shots to deaden around the bad tooth, enjoyed the silence while resting along with the nice giggles that help calm me. They all seem happy. Dr Avery came in, got busy and out my nasty tooth came. In fact, I didn’t know when it did. They checked for bleeding, gave me a gauze to bite on, walked me to the front to check out, and then I was gone. All good so far.

They listen carefully to any concerns and take the time to allay any fears. Every member of the team that I have encountered has been very kind and punctual-and with fun personalities! I also feel that they care most about protecting my teeth–rather than making money! Before I went to college, I went to the dentist and discovered that I had 5 cavities. It was a really horrifying experience that caused reoccurring nightmares about losing my teeth by the time I was 30. I immediately bought myself a sonicare toothbrush, introduced floss and made brushing 2-3 times a day a habit. The next task was finding a good dentist. Overtime, I found the perfect dentist in whichever city I was living in. In Tulsa, I luckily found the perfect dentist on my first try! I scheduled an appointment with Mint and was happy from the time I scheduled the appointment on the phone till the moment I left. My favorite things about this office are: 1. Comfortable, clean and modern office with subtle back massagers in the chairs 2. The super sweet assistant handed me an ipad to efficiently fill out my paperwork – I love that there was no paper waste involved and that no one would have to renter my info into their system 3. Awesome hygienists that take the time to scrub my teeth down and leave me feeling sparkly and new 4. GREAT dentists! I saw Lauren (the wife in the husband/wife pair that own this office). She was efficient but still cared about my teeth and took the time to talk with me about my xrays and discuss any of my questions. I highly recommend Mint if you are still looking for that perfect dentist that doesn’t make you dread your semi-annual visit. Oh and I’m happy to report that my teeth are still in tact and I’ve been cavity free since I was 18!!

They work hard to make you feel comfortable and take care of your needs, without making you feel like you need anything that you really don’t, which unfortunately is such a standard practice at many other dental networks. I bought a Groupon a couple years ago. The dentists and staff are friendly and caring. The facility is modern and clean. The chairs massage you while you get your teeth cleaned. I’ll preface this by saying I’m a veteran and have some trauma related to my job in the Army. Pulling teeth is a tactic used by the terror network I was assigned to, and since then, I stopped going to the dentist out the anxiety that it created. What sent me in to Mint was severe swelling of my gum thanks to pregnancy. Yes, pregnancy. Who knew 10% of pregnant women deal with this? Apparently I’m one of the select few and am just that special. Dr. Avery listened to my tale of woe from the military and explained everything she did to me before she did it. I was prescribed an antibiotic for my gum and then succumbed to the need for a cleaning. Brittany, the hygienist, was very gentle and understanding about my anxiety. Anytime I needed to move my arms (again, stems from my Army job), she obliged. The office is clean and relaxing. The staff is excellent. And after my cleaning, I felt comfortable enough to make another cleaning appointment 6 months later. No one tried to tell me I needed additional work done, no one tried to talk me into anything, it was just a caring staff that truly takes care of their patients.

Dr. Avery calls me a “regular,” but you will be too once you start going to Mint! For starters–the husband/wife duo that own the place are fantastic. They are young, hip and really take the time to get to know patients. Plus, everybody that works there is like under the age of forty, so I really consider this the dentist for young adults in town. They play amazing music, work quick but efficiently and the best part–they work HARD to ensure their practice is sustainable and low on waste. The massaging chairs while you get cleaned don’t hurt either. I am definitely a freak that loves going in for cleanings, hence my status as a “regular” but one reason i never skip a cleaning is so i can get my whitening tube! The $99 forever white deal gives you a whitening mold and at every cleaning you get another tube of whitening paste for your at home kit! Spend the money up front and get white teeth as long as you are a patient there. I would HIGHLY recommend Mint and suggest it every chance i get. They accept most insurances and i’m sure would be very affordable for those without insurance.
