Who loves the dentist? We do…now! Mint Dental is very clean and beautiful inside with state-of-the-art equipment and little personalized touches throughout your visit. Dr. Nguyen is fantastic and her staff is exceptional. I have been to many dentists who mysteriously find many things to correct. My whole family has been to Mint Dental (including three children under 9 yrs old), and received incredible service – from the receptionists to the assistants. I cannot express my joy at finding this little gem. In fact, we moved last year and still drive 45 minutes to go to Mint Dental. Thank you so much for your continued dedication!

I Love MINT Dental! Every single one of their staff is very friendly and super accommodating. I’ve had a few fillings done as well as a crown replaced and all my procedures have gone smoothly with no issues…or pain afterward. I also have taken my 5-year-old son in and he loves getting his teeth cleaned especially when he gets a “no sugar bug” report. I am thankful to go to a dentist I can trust! This is my very first time giving reviews my whole life. Dr. Nguyen is an excellent and incredibly gentle dentist. This is not something I ever thought I’d say about a dentist, but I actually look forward to coming here! The office is beautiful and all the staff are super friendly. It’s a smaller practice so you get the benefit of them being on time. My latest cleaning I was in and out in 20 minutes. After trying another dentist in the area, I’m glad I came to Mint! I was having severe tooth pain and after calling several other dentists, I was finally able to get an appointment at Mint Dental OC. Everyone I encountered was great! I’m terrified of the dentist and haven’t gone in ages (since I was a child) and no one was condescending and I felt that my comfort was their first priority. Britney (gal at the front desk) was able to squeeze me in very quickly, just so I would have the whole day to get this handled. They very quickly figured out the problem I was having and needed to refer me to an oral surgeon. They even called around to several to find someone to take me the same day.
I highly recommend Dr Kim and her staff!

We used to live in Placentia and when Mint Dental opened up across the parking lot of where we went to the gym (L A Fitness) my husband decided to try it out. Then I decided to go too because I tired of him ranting and raving about the atmosphere and the care he received. I LOVE Mint Dental OC and when we moved down to Mission Viejo 2 years ago, we changed all of our doctors except for Kim ( Mint Dental). I don’t mind at all driving the hour to have Mint Dental take care of my teeth and oh my what a bunch of “happy faces” that work there and such wonderful care we get. That is one Dentist that I will not drop and find someone closer. I have great confidence in this place. Been going there for about 4 years (since they opened). Try it, you won’t go anyplace else.

I had an exceptional visit today from the receptionist to the dentist to the behind the counter associates. I would highly recommend this dentist office to my friends and family. The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. (…) Dr Nguyen came in and we had a very pleasant conversation about our kids and life in general. Great bedside manner! I spent more time chatting than she did going through my teeth, but that’s expected since I’m quite particular in caring for my teeth. Her hygienist, Taylor, came in to do the cleaning and flossing. This is the part most of us dread—but Taylor made it as painless as possible. She was very cognizant about my comfort throughout the cleaning, making sure the suction tube was doing its job and taking care to be gentle around my gums and making sure she rinsed repeatedly to get all the grittiness from the fluoride out. As a reflex built up over the years, I found myself to be bracing for a slip-up or poke somewhere within my mouth, but that never quite happened. Taylor was very communicative about what she was about to do and where in my mouth she was moving to next. I couldn’t have asked for a smoother dental visit and would recommend Mint Dental OC to anyone who asks.

I had somewhat of an emergency (at least to me) when one of my tooth started hurting real bad. I can’t say I was surprised by it because I had been experiencing some sensitivity and slight pain for some time now, especially when I ate anything sweet. My regular dentist wasn’t able to see me soon enough so I decided to give Mint Dental a call. They were able to schedule me right away, which was great news for me. Turns out I had a cavity, shocker I know. Dr. Nguyen was really great. She showed me what the problem was and explained how she was going to fix it. It was pretty fast and easy. I came in a couple of weeks later for a more thorough exam and also had my cleaning done.
The office was very modern and suits my taste very well. All of the equipment seemed really high tech. Dr. Nguyen was not one of those old school dentists. She was young and energetic and was very attentive. Her staff seemed really nice and friendly too! I might be making a permanent switch.

Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Dr. Nguyen wanted to explore life outside of California and moved to Boston, where she also attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After receiving her Doctorate degree in Dental Medicine in 2007, she furthered her studies and completed an intense one year General Practice Residency (GPR) program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. The program focused on emergency care, implants, prosthodontics, cosmetic, and general dentistry. From her well-rounded and diverse experiences and studies, Dr. Nguyen is able to provide the utmost care and attention to her patients.
