Modern Essence is a great dental office.  Dr. Llanes is very passionate dentist. If you read all the reviews that his patients say about him that should make you feel at ease going there. I have been a patient over two years and not a single bad experience. I recently had a front tooth recapped after almost thirty years. I was very hesitant to have it done for I was afraid it would look very artificial being it was the front tooth. Dr. Llanes assured me it would look nice. Well IT DOES!!!! It only took two weeks for it to be done and I wasted so many years. Erica is a real nice person makes you feel comfortable. Helen is very sweet and she really works with you to accommodate both your and there schedules.

My teeth have never felt so important! The special attention I received at Modern Essence as a first time new patient was outstanding. I was impressed at the proactive work from Kim as she called my insurance company to determine the coverage levels and notified me ahead of time so that I was prepared. I felt very welcome upon entry to the office and the check in process was smooth and quick. The office has a great vibe and energy and the friendliness of every team member didn’t go unnoticed. Erica did a phenomenal job with my teeth. She spent quality team getting to know me, examining, cleaning, taking pictures and I felt like my teeth had paparazzi! I truly can’t recall my teeth every feeling this clean before. And meeting Dr. Llanes was an absolute pleasure. He was warm, welcoming, and I instantly felt confident about getting a solid treatment plan for my teeth. I was impressed with his professionalism and the exam. The checkout was smooth and I am looking forward to bringing my family to join as new patients as well. Thank you so much for the positive experience!

Toothache and called talked to helen and gave me an appointment for the same day, staff is super friendly they make you feel welcome,  im so afraid of the dentist but they make you feel so comfortable that your anxiety goes away instantly, change dentists the same day!!! Love the place,love the staff!!!!

First time visiting and what an amazing experience! The entire vibe was pleasant and made me feel comfortable. Erica is probably the best dental hygienist i’ve ever had and made the appointment so enjoyable, something you don’t usually say when visiting the dentist.

Tooth cracked last night and I called Modern essence dentistry the next morning, they were kind enough to understand my discomfort and fit me in the same day. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr.Llanes was very knowledgeable and left me with no questions unanswered. My concerns were addressed immediately. Prices are very reasonable and accommodating for somebody with no dental insurance! I will definitely be returning for further care and treatment.

I would definitely recommend Modern Essence Dentistry to everybody! It has been awhile since I have seen a dentist due to fear but the time has come to get my teeth fixed. The staff was very friendly and concerned about my anxiousness. They made me feel comfortable and more relaxed. I started with a cleaning and x-rays which was awesome and pain free. Dr. Llanes then explained all the treatment that I needed and all my options to restore my teeth back to normal. Phase one is done and now on to the major work, and I have the full confidence that they will make my smile great again! No more fear

Dr. Llanes, Helen, all the front office staff and dental assistants/ hygienists were and are very professional and Friendly. My son’s mind was at ease when he sat on the chair. I was very happy and satisfied with everything. Dr. Llanes was very thorough with the examination, treatment and explanation. If you are looking for an honest and professional dentist , Dr. Llanes is the one.

Dr. Llanes and his entire team are very thorough, professional and knowledgable. No matter who I’m scheduled to get my cleaning from, I know it’s going to be the highest quality because it’s at Modern Essence Dentistry. They also take the time to explain any issues to me and outline options available to me for dental care. Will continue being a patient for a long time!

First time here. Had such a wonderful experience starting with the call to make the appt. You can tell the people here really care about you. They are incredibly nice to you, greeting you with a smile, giving you a tour of the space, and answering any questions you might have. Also, they give you a goodie bag!

Who doesn’t hate going to the dentists? Not me. I’ve been through a few different dentists in my life and none of them has stuck longer than a year. Either because my insurance changed or they became out-of-network, but mostly because I had terrible experiences. One dentist told me after only seeing my x-rays that I needed surgery and proceeded to add all kinds of things that are wrong with my teeth. THAT scared me to death and she didn’t even try to comfort me. Never saw her again, thank God. I still remember that horrible feeling I got when leaving her office 2 years ago. But I must start 2012 by doing something good for myself, right? Right. Looking at my in-network provider list, I found one by my house. Modern Essence. Yelped it – good reviews. Google reviews? Raving for this place. I booked an appointment and just had my deep cleaning yesterday. Oh how I love Mary Ann the hygienist! She is gentle and extremely thorough; I feel so safe in her hands. There’s a TV in the room and she gave me sunglasses to protect my eyes from those bright lights. Everyone in the office was very nice and courteous. From Jennifer at front desk (who called me today to see how I was doing) to the assistants to Dr. Brainard (who extracted my last wisdom tooth), they treat you with respect – I was able to relax more than I usually am at dentist’s office. My appointment time was 2.30pm and I think by 2.35pm I was already sitting in the “exam chair.” Talk about being on time, I LOVE IT! I’ll be back for another cleaning next week and after that, looking forward to see them every 6 months!

Dr Llanas and team has been nothing but welcoming towards my transition of dentists. I called in to schedule an classic cleaning appointment and was very impressed with how quick their response was. As I walked into Modern Essence Dentistry, I was greeted with a warm welcome, the receptionist seemed to know who I was and was in and out within 45 mins; the extra 15 minutes was due to having a great conversation with the team. One of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had.

I had my wisdom tooth out and it was so much better than expected! I was so terrified of the dentist, but so far both visits here have been nothing but wonderful. I love how friendly the staff is and how comfortable they made me feel.

I hadn’t been to the dentist is a very long time, but I knew I had some problems that needed to be dealt with. I was referred here by 1800Dentist. The office turned out to be right around the corner from where I live. During my first appointment I had the most thorough cleaning I have ever had (I probably really needed it). The dentist examined me after that and then we sat down and he told me exactly what he thought needed to be done, gave me options, a treatment plan, and the approximate cost. At one point, he was talking kind of fast, and I just looked at him and said, “What?” He had no problem going through it again. I went back twice more to have cavities filled. It wasn’t the most pleasant experience of my life, but they made is as easy and comfortable as possible. I have problems with jaw pain, and Dr. Llanas made sure to stop and give me chances to move my jaw around while he filled the cavities. I was very grateful. I have to say I am very relieved to have these problems taken care of, and I’m happy I found a neighborhood dental office with extremely friendly, caring, and competent people from the front desk to the dentist. It was very obvious everyone was very skilled at their jobs. I will definitely be going back for preventive care. It’s also nice to know that I now have a dentist to go to in case an emergency occurs. I always worried about that before. I definitely recommend Modern Essence Dentistry.

The team at Modern Essence Dentistry was extremely friendly and made the whole experience great. I just switched from a previous dental clinic where they were not keeping up the facilities and didn’t have great staff. Being concerned about the pandemic, it was great to see the staff and their office procedures set to ensure both patient and staff are being kept safe! All my concerns were kept in mind when they were preforming any procedures. They were transparent in everything from submitting claims with my insurance, to what was needed for prevention. I’m so happy for finding this clinic and would recommend Modern Essence Dentistry to anyone!

I have been to Modern Essence a few times now. Everyone there is very nice and profession. I am EXTREMELY impressed with the technology they are using. I get an email and text for reminders of my appointments. I love this. Dentist appointments made 6 months out are not on my radar and I would likely forget. They have so many options available for dental care. I give them a BIG 5 STARS!!!

I’ve been going to modern essence dentistry for a number of years now and, I have to say that everyone there are among some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Always very personable,friendly and, very accommodating. With my work schedual,it can be difficult to get off work at a decent time. They have always worked with my schedule and found the time for me to be seen. Their very professional and always made a good course of care and made sure I understood everything that went on and what my options were. Sometimes you dread going to the dentist but, they make it a pretty pleasant experience. I had a deep cleaning recently and, to my surprise not one bit of pain. Again, Their very nice and helpful accommodating and, definitely a dentist you won’t regret going to

Dr. Llanes is the best dentist ever. Once our insurance changed my family went running back to him after a 2 yr break.  We couldn’t get back fast enough. His clinic is so up to date. The staff is so very friendly and knowledgeable.After your visit they take the time to throughly go over everything and answer any question you may have. No unnecessary procedures performed and no hidden fees.

My daughter fell off her bike Today and cracked her two front teeth. I was in panic mode and didn’t think it was a possible fix. So I called Modern Essence and they told us to come in for an emergency appointment. My daughter was terrified but since they have a wonderful staff and dr Llanes  she was able to calm down and relax to get her teeth worked on. Now my daughters two front teeth look brand new!!! Looks like nothing ever happened. So thankful for everyone their.

I was recommended here by a friend because my previous dentist didn’t do a great job and felt like we spent too much money with them. Dr. Llanes team took time to see what is the problem and what they can do.They made sure that they explained everything, the process and the plan. They care about their patients . My whole experience was great!
