Dr. Bakshi is a highly skilled and an above and beyond great dentist. You need only to research her credentials to see that. She is knowledgeable and very patient in explaining what she finds and a recommended treatment plan. She includes colleagues in her field to get you the best possible treatment. I’ve never had an actual dentist do the cleaning in order to further diagnose any possible problems. She followed up the next day to make sure I was ok. She’s definitely a dentist you can stay with. I could not recommend Dr. Bakski enough! Not only does she have the best bedside manner of any dentist I’ve visited (and there have been many), she is also extremely gentle and walks you through every step of the process. She always lets you know what she is going to do before she does it, which is very calming at the dentist’s office! She also is extremely knowledgeable, remembers everything you tell her and makes you feel like you are her most important patient. Their new office is also clean and gorgeous, which also adds to an overall more calming and pleasant environment. The little things add up!

I really enjoy Dr. Bakshi! She is so friendly and kind and really goes above and beyond as a Dentist. The cleaning is great and she always has recommendations for products that will help me! She is very accessible over email as well which is a huge plus. I look forward to my visits with her!

I had a wonderful experience while visiting with Monjir Bakshi, DMD. Not only was she nice and friendly, she was professional and informative. I really appreciated the time she spent with me to make sure I understood everything before leaving, as well as the direction she lent.

Dr. Bakshi is WONDERFUL, thorough, and highly knowledgeable. It is obvious that she loves what she does and that she dedicates herself fully to the profession. Since moving back to NY, after being away for school, Dr. Bakshi has been my favorite dentist. I’ve spent 5 years trying to find a new dentist, with multiple upsets and dissatisfaction. I’m so happy to have found her, she was amazing! The appointment went smoothly, she was very kind and helpful! Can’t wait for my next appointment this summer!

Dr. Bakshi was incredibly informative and communicative. She explained everything I needed and wanted to know. She monitored my comfort level throughout the cleaning and x-rays. She also was very considerate of what was available under my insurance, checking on costs before proceeding with procedures. She also has great hours – so you don’t have to cram it into your work day.

Dr Bakshi is so great! I’ve had a long history of delaying going to the dentist because of a slight phobia but since I’ve started going to Dr Bakshi, I feel so much more comfort and ease about going. She walks you through everything that she’s going to do and is super thorough. Bonus – she also taught me how to floss properly since I’d been doing it wrong for years. Honestly, my mouth has never felt better. Highly recommend Dr Bakshi and her staff! They’re just so wonderful and nice.

I am so happy I found Dr.Bakshi. I feel like I am under great care with her. I came to her last summer after a terrible experience at another dental office. Not only did she fix my tooth promptly and with care, but she patiently explained the whole process (root canal) and what I was to expect. She is warm, caring and very thorough. I also really appreciate how conservative she is with her recommendations; she will not suggest you do something unless it’s absolutely needed.

Dr. Bakshi was super professional. I haven’t been to the dentist in about 5 years, and I was super nervous going with the idea that I’d need a lot of work done. She reassured me right away and made me feel comfortable. She went through my x-rays in detail, explaining what everything means and making sure it all made sense to me. She followed up right away, and was very transparent on the treatments I needed. The office was also really nice and clean! Highly recommend.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Dr. Bakshi. She was exceptionally friendly and thorough, a winning combination. Dr. Bakshi asked considerate questions and was communicative without ever being condescending. I’m very happy to continue my regular check-ups with Dr. Bakshi.

Dr. Bakshi is by far THE best Dentist I’ve ever visited. Both she and Millie made me feel extremely welcomed and took their time to calm my nervousness around the work that had to be done. Each time I’ve visited, they’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that I was informed, comfortable, and worry-free. Dr.Bakshi’s practice is the epitome of a professional setting where patients are sincerely cared for and I really appreciate both her and Millie.

This is the best dentist appointment I’ve had in awhile. Dr. Bakshi constantly made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and explained everything she was doing throughout the entire appointment. She also took the time to explain everything to me which I really appreciated-no dentist has ever done that! She also was very cognizant of how much time I had for the appointment and had me out as soon as I said I needed to be on my way to work. If you have anxiety about the dentist, she is definitely one who will ease your concerns and make you feel comfortable in the chair once again. 10/10 would recommend!

After my first visit with Dr. Bakshi, I can say I would highly recommend her!! I’m usually a little nervous about dental visits due to prior experiences, but she made me feel so comfortable. She has a great bedside manner and is extremely professional. Dr. Bakshi walked me through my X-rays and explained everything thoroughly. It had been a year since my last dental exam and she didn’t make me feel bad about that in the slightest. After my cleaning she helped me come up with a game plan for my teeth. I left with my teeth feeling great and more confident that I can keep them that way until our next visit! 

Dr. Bakshi is warm, personable and has excellent bedside manner. She stepped in to help me clean up Smile Direct’s failed attempts at straightening my only slightly un-straightened smile and I am happy with my teeth now that Dr. B gave me real care. She was also able to do some cosmetic rounding where my teeth were imperfect. Overall, I wish I had skipped a mail-in orthodontist and just started with her – I would have saved the hassle and saved me some cash

Dr. Bakshi continues to be one of the finest medical professionals I’ve had the privilege of seeing. Her bedside manner is thoughtful and caring, and she takes the time to answer any and all questions that you may have. She also ensures that you have all the information needed before making a decision for your oral health – I cannot recommend her and Millie enough.

It is extremely evident that Dr. Bakshi really cares about her patients’ well-being and patient education. She took the time to explain the different layers of the teeth and my dental x-rays to me so that way I could understand my teeth, their needs, and how to better take care of them. I understand how I should be flossing and brushing my teeth + which teeth/gums needed extra love; an extra 5-10 minutes of her time may have spared me a future of many more fillings, or worse, a mouth full of rotting teeth. Thank you Dr. Bakshi!

Dr Bakshi did an complete transformation on my smile and life. She is so smart and talented and easy to understand. She is always concerned about how things felt, if I was feeling anything not normal after the procedure, she always followed up with me within a day or two after the procedures to make sure everything was perfect, and would work crazy long hours to make sure everything was perfect before I left her office. Her attention to details was amazing. I could not be happier with the final results. I am always getting compliments on the work she did and would highly recommend her to everyone I know. Dr. Bakshi is one of the nicest dentists I’ve gone to. She is also very knowledgeable. She explains exactly what she is doing and makes sure you’re as comfortable as possible and what to expect from each procedure which helps with any anxiety you may have from a procedure. She also has flexible hours so you can go to her office after work if needed. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bakshi was great. Her chair-side manner is patient and comforting. Dr. Bakshi was thorough in examination and delicate & lucid in her explanation of my treatment needs (she was also very thorough and delicate in a follow up treatment with her!). Dr Bakshi is an excellent dentist. I actually look forward to my dental visits now, knowing my teeth are in great hands. I am glad I found her after a bad experience with my previous dentist. She followed up after every visit emailing me at the end of the day to check if I was doing fine and she is caring and highly trustworthy.

It had been awhile since I had been to the dentist and Dr. Bakshi put my mind at ease right away. She was extremely thorough, answered all of my questions while taking the time to walk me through everything, and never made me feel rushed. She emailed me after my appointment to check in and made sure I know she’s just an email or a phone call away if I ever have any questions or concerns. She’s very caring and extremely knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about her, I will never go to another dentist! 

Dr. Bakshi is the nicest and most thorough dentist ever! I’m so glad I found her, she took the time to really explain what she was doing and how I could change some habits to prevent issues going forward. She takes great care in what she does, you can tell she takes her practice very seriously. Not to mention she’s fun to talk to!

Everyone at the office were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Bakshi was patient in explaining what needed to be done for my crown, and made sure to work with my insurance to make sure everything was covered. Also, their office is well organized and has a pretty modern set of tools. Will be coming back to her, despite my aversion to dentists.

Dr. Bakshi was absolutely terrific. She is personable, skilled, thoughtful, and professional. She had a perfect manner of describing what she found, and I came away with great, helpful detail. She was quite caring and conscious of discomfort, but able to get everything done without delay. I recommend her highly!

Dr. Bakshi is truly an amazing healthcare practitioner. After being treated coldly and rushed by previous dentists, this experience was the polar opposite. She took the time to explain to me what she would be doing, showing me my X-Rays and by demonstrating best dental care practices. By far, the best experience ever! She will have me coming for my biannual cleaning and exams!

Dr. Bakshi was super friendly and did her best to make me feel comfortable. She had a student she was teaching during my appointment, which I actually loved since I got a better understanding and warning of what was about to happen throughout the appointment. I’ve never had a dentist go through x-rays and feel like my concerns were truly being heard, and Dr. Bakshi did just that.

I was very anxious, as I haven’t been to the dentist in a long time, but Dr. Bakshi was amazing. She was nonjudgemental, informative, and friendly. Every step of the way she let me know what to expect. She was also very transparent about future costs, and went out of her way to check what was/wasn’t covered by my insurance and what I could expect to pay for future procedures. She also sent a great follow up by email, recapping what we talked about as well as what to expect with the insurance process. I have already recommended her to several people

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Bakshi. She intelligently and creatively bonded a gap between two teeth for me. She was extremely thorough, attentive to detail, and spent a great deal of time working on it. During cleanings, she is gentle, transparent, and empowers her patients by sharing knowledge of what she is looking for when reviewing x-rays. She is very personable and made me feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Dr. Bakshi might be one of the nicest and friendliest health professionals I’ve ever met. Not only is she a great dentist, but she’s great at communicating with her patients, taking the time to explain everything she’s doing and answering all your questions. She’s very attentive to the needs and concerns of her patients and does thorough and complete work. I can’t recommend her enough.

Dr. Bakshi was really nice and calmed my nerves with her great bedside manner. The last time I visited a dentist was back in 2012 and I was a bit traumatized by that experience. After 7 years I finally made an effort and I am pretty sure I made the best decision by choosing Dr. Bakshi. She took my x-rays and explained me in detail about which tooth have problems and which of them need be saved pretty immediately. She made sure that I was ready for some treatment (fillings) that day, and it did not hurt at all. Even the anesthesia did not give me that “pinch” feeling. After the appointment, she followed me up with an email about everything we discussed and she kept checking up on me if there was any pain, etc. for the next two days. I would highly recommend Dr. Bakshi.

Dr. Bakshi is an absolutely incredible clinician. I’ve been consistently impressed with her bedside manner, attention to detail, thorough explanations of procedures and level of knowledge about both general and cosmetic dentistry. I was referred to Dr. Bakshi from a friend after I had already received a set of x-rays from another provider. The imaging that I had prior was blurry and hard to decipher; Dr. Bakshi was able to take those x-rays and create a treatment plan that involved fillings and a root canal. Every filling I’ve had has been quick and painless, and Dr. Bakshi referred me to an incredible endodontist who she went to school with. I can’t recommend her practice enough – I finally feel comfortable having a primary and cosmetic dentist in Manhattan!

Dr. Bakshi is the greatest. I originally came to see her because I was dealing with some painful mouth ulcers. She was able to quickly see what was going on and referred me to a specialist, who helped me get rid of them altogether. I’ve been seeing her ever since as my primary dentist, and I have to say she’s the only dentist I ever look forward to seeing!

Dr. Bakshi is one of the best medical professionals I’ve ever worked with. She is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, meticulous and patient. From evaluation to treatment, the overall experience was elevated beyond my expectations. Even better, I love the results and get compliments on my smile all time.

Dr. Bakshi is one of the most talented dental specialists in the city! She is double Ivy League trained from UPenn and Columbia and provides patients with the best cosmetic and functional outcomes! She has a warm personality and makes you feel comfortable. She strives to truly understand your goals and provide you with treatment options that are specific to your needs. As a dental surgeon I have collaborated with Dr Bakshi for over 5 years and can say that she is my go-to doctor! She has my complete endorsement when it comes to anything from a small filling- to a major smile makeover!
