I can’t recommend this dental practice highly enough!! Please do yourself a favor and come here (especially for Dr Jane Refela – she’s incredible!!)…they’re just amazing! They consistently treat us with ultimate kindness, compassion and respect. But most importantly, they don’t try to push a ton of unnecessary procedures on you! The office is spotless every time. It’s located on the second floor, just to the left as you get off the elevator. There’s plenty of paved parking as well. And they are doing a great job with Covid safety measures. There’s hand sanitizer and everyone wears masks, face shields and gloves. And plenty of room for social distancing. Every staff member we’ve come into contact with has been happy, pleasant, warm and so comforting! They also do a fantastic job at teaching and answering questions…so knowledgeable and thorough and really make me feel confident in their expertise! Our previous dentist office kept us in the office for hours and hours, trying to convince us to replace all our old fillings and redo crowns…every time we went in, it was never just a cleaning, it always turned into some hours-long, sadistic nightmare! But not so with Dr Refela!! She and her staff are very thorough and very conservative which we absolutely love! We’re usually in and out in less than an hour…and that includes full cleaning, xrays and exam etc! I never feel like I’m being taken advantage of or put through hours of torture doing useless procedures!

Great place! The people are always friendly and Dr. Refela was very careful about making sure not to touch any super sensitive areas on my gums. I’ve got free teeth whitening for life with them which is great, because I’m obsessed with trying to get a celebrity smile. (I think I’m well on my way when I go here!) My morning appointment went by really fast; I was in at the right time and out in less than an hour, and I do not dread coming back in 6 months like I do with other dentists. See you guys then!

The best staff. I have not been to the dentist i 12 years and i was a little hesitant to trust anyone but i was surprised the whole experience was. The staff is professional, kind and friendly. They are genuinely concerned about your concerns and talk to you through the process so that you are as comfortable as possible. I look forward to going to the dentist now. This the best dentist ever!

So glad I found this place! The staff is super friendly, flexible with appointment times, and the office is super clean. They have TVs over the chairs so you can watch from every angle and you can pick whatever you want to watch. Makes the time go by faster. The dentist was great, just needed a cleaning so not sure what other procedures there are like. Finally, if you ask, they will give you 2 free teeth whitening treatments and custom trays! I highly recommend monrovia dental care!

I had to comment!!!:) I want to start out by saying that our first time visit to Monrovia DentalCare was a success!!!! I got recommended by my sister! I have three girls ages 8,6, and 5 and I was looking for a good dentist I can trust. I wanted my girls to have an overall awesome experience while going to see a dentist. As it is, having someone working in your mouth can be quite intimidating! However, this was the total opposite of intimidating for all of us! As we walked into the office, the first thing I said was “this is nice!” The girl in the front desk was very welcoming. She was sweet and took the time to chat with my girls while I was signing papers. As we waited to be attended by the Dr., the girls were able to sit down on nice comfy seats while watching the Disney channel. They were really enjoying it mentioning how good it smelled in the office. Haha The office is quite modern with flat screens in the waiting area as well as all the rooms where the patient is being seen by their Dr. The girls were called in and came out with big smiles on their faces. They were showing off their teeth as well as a gift bag that was given to each of them after they were seen. On top of that, they were able to pick a toy from the toy box. Overall, staff was amazing, Dr. Was excellent and very informative. She was sweet and took the time in explaining and answering any questions I had. I’m next and I can’t wait! Dr. Refela is her name and she is awesome! Must go!

I went in for the first time yesterday, and was told when I scheduled the appointment I would be seeing Dr. Dao. However, once my X-rays were taken, Dr. Refela came in to see me. She was very warm and nice. She was patient and explained everything in detail that needed to be done. The entire staff that I spoke with were very friendly and nice, as well, especially La Toya who took my X-rays and kept asking me if I was doing O.K. through the process. The office is very neat and clean, well organized, and they offer a nice selection of refreshments. There are TV’s in the rooms with additional one’s on the ceilings so the patients have a entertaining distraction. I will be going back next week to have some fillings done by Dr. Refela, and hopefully, she will be my permanent Dentist from now on

Moving here from the East Coast & looking for a dental clinic is quite a challenged but my first dental experience in Monrovia dental clinic made me feel at home!!! From Doctor Refela’s explanation of the process, treatment plan & gentle bedside manner was a great experienced! The hygienist, La Toya, did a great job as well. Right after the cleaning, the desk clerk explained to me the treatment plan & how much would it cost. I didn’t feel pressured at all. I can do it in my own pace. Overall, I’m a satisfied patient! I highly recommend this clinic

I had a beautiful experience at the Monrovia Dentalcare Center. I felt so comfortable and content. The receptionists in the front of the office, Vanessa and Susan were extremely welcoming. During my cleaning Joselyn the dental assistant was very sweet, and friendly. Dr. Refela told me everything that she was doing so I was very aware. This made me feel very comfortable during the process. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to join this dental family!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It was my first time at a new dentist since I was 10 years old so I was nervous I wouldn’t like it as much and WOW. I had braces for 7 years and as such, am pretty sick of having to go to the dentist. But  this place is like the Disneyland of dentistry, their technology is far more up to date than I’m used to. The front desk, assistants and doctors are all so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. My teeth look so much better after just one cleaning and I don’t have enough kind words to say about this place! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

I’ve been a patient here for 4yrs now, and I have always been great. Friendly staff and Dr’s. Everytime I go in I feel like I’m visiting old friends, never the feel like I’m being taken for my b money like other officers I’ve been too. Its wonderful the way the work with your schedule and are able accommodate your time frame when going in during your lunch… Bottom line the best office I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of

This place is Amazing! Not only are you able to get a massage in the chair while you are having work done the staff is spectacular too! Each person is caring and knowledgeable, I feel like they are my family. Irene helped me with my insurance needs, she made it simple to understand what was covered and took care of everything, all I had to do was pay my co-pay. Billy is the best assistant I have ever seen, she has the infection control guidelines down perfectly, this office is as clean as it looks. I’m a safety consultant by trade and I visit dental offices on a daily basis and I chose THIS office to be my personal dentist. Dr. Refela truly has the hands of an angel, she has such a light touch, she let me know exactly what was happening while she was working, I was suprised she was done so quickly. I was just starting to enjoy my show and we were done. LOL. They use all the state of the art materials, I had 3 crowns replaced with the cubic zirconia material and I love them! I wish I had known about these before. Dr. Dao is also fantastic, she was the first one to examine me, she is very patient and excellent at explaining the treatment plan, I really liked that she could show me pictures of the problem areas, right then and there of what the problem was and how they were going to fix it

I am very pleased with Monrovia Dental Care. Dr. Refela is knowledgeable, caring, and gentle. She listens and understands. The staffs (Billie, Joselyn, Irene, and Susan) in the dental office are all friendly and helpful. The environment and equipment look clean and well maintained. I am thankful my husband found a great dentist for us. We are wishing them the best!

I would highly recommend Monrovia Dental Care. Probably the best dental office I’ve ever been to. It was easy to schedule a next day appt and every employee I encountered was friendly, helpful, professional, and seemed highly knowledgeable. Maria and Dr. Refela performed the work on my teeth and I couldn’t have asked for a more gentle caring set of ladies. Monrovia dental care did not try to up-sell me on anything; they just provided the necessary dental care and got me on my way. Oh yea and they have massage chairs and televisions in the exam room! Nice touch

I found this Dentist less than 5 minutes from my house and decided to give it a shot after having pretty bad headaches due to a bad cavity. Keep in mind that I haven’t been to the Dentist since 2008 so I was quite terrified, but all the staff members were very polite and calm so it really calmed my nerves a significant amount for when they had to explain that I needed a Root Canal and showed me all my options. I came back three days later to start my procedure and was so nervous just in the waiting room. However, just like before they were all friendly and calm which helped a lot. I went through the entire process and they were gentle the entire time which was roughly an hour and walked out with my new fillings in my tooth. I’m posting this review a day later and my jaw isn’t sore (I was told it might be sore the day after) nor do I have any pain. So they must be pretty good! Looking forward to going back to get my cap put in! 5 STARS! Thanks for all your help Monrovia Dental Care

I have only been here for basic x-rays and cleaning, but by far the nicest dental staff I have had a chance to meet.  The office is very clean and modern.  The dentist is calm and professional.   I have never been pressured here.  Everyone is very informative and seems to enjoy sharing their knowledge.   I really really like this dental office

I have the biggest fear of dentists.  I literally CRY when I enter the door…but not anymore.  Monrovia Dentalcare completely blew me away! The layout is beautiful and each room features your own personal flat screen TV.  And I did I mention the massage chairs? But the best part is their dental knowledge and their caring attitude.  After my procedure yesterday, even though my mouth was still numb, I called THREE people and told them about this place.  I still have my unnatural “fear”, but gave me the best experience possible

I would highly recommend Monrovia Dental Care. I went to another dental group in Arcadia for the first time last week, and they told me I needed over $900 worth of dental work and possibly more, but wouldn’t know till they started drilling… long story short, I went to Monrovia Dental Care to get a second opinion and Dr Refela seemed highly professional and knowledgeable in her assessment. She found need for only one filling and recommended a much milder treatment. She saw no need for root canals and crowns. When I brought up how much of a relief it was because the money, she immediately said something to the effect of, not just that… why would you want to resort to so much unnecessary dental work and lose a whole tooth that only needs a filling. That right there showed me that she cares about the well being of the patient. All that aside, every employee I encountered was friendly, helpful, professional, and seemed highly knowledgeable. Billie and Dr. Refela performed the work on my teeth and I couldn’t have asked for a more gentle caring set of ladies. They showed deep concern for my well being. Monrovia dental care did not try to up-sell me on anything; they just provided the necessary dental care and got me on my way. She even took pictures a few times through out the process and showed me the before during and after of the cavity and filling (gross lol). Amazing! Wait times: never more than 3 or 4 mins; that says a lot for a dentists office!

For a year I was looking for a good dental place and I was lucky to find this beautiful, place with a state of the art equipment and staff that make u so confortable,and knowledgeable!!! DR.Refela ,during teeth cleaning was so gentle,caring attitude and so informative ! So glad to have found such a good place  !!!Keep up the good work !thank u

I don’t want to say I am afraid of the dentist,  everyone else in my life gets that privilege. As far as I am concerned I am a fearless whale on an ocean of love. However, I may show some nervousness to the uninitiated. Everything in this place made me feel better! Smurfs cleaning teeth, Lego people helping others, Molarr keeping Skeletor bright and shiney. I went in to get a tooth pulled and they saved it! Like every true hero they are pure expressions of humility. Thinking nothing of their own safety the dove deep into the hell hole of a mouth I call chompers fall. With the poke and drill of deft hands they cleared my poor tooth and gave me respite from pain and regret. I love them and will return for more spring cleaning soon!

I have just recently started going to this dentist for the Invisalign treatment. I can only say good things about this place. They never make me wait long. The women who work there are very nice and so patient in answering all my questions! Just one piece of advice! The location doesn’t always have parking available; so go a little early

Thank goodness my search for a great dentist is finally over. My husband and I were referred to Monrovia Dentalcare by a good friend. The office has 2 dentists, Dr. Lan Dao and Dr. Jane Refela.  The office thankfully has Saturday appointments and we both went in to see Dr. Dao for some overdue cleanings. When we both walked in the door, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the waiting room. It  was warm, inviting, and tranquil. It almost reminded me of a spa. That right there already upped my expectations of my experience with this office. The woman at the front office was very nice and had us fill out paperwork. We noticed a small room with some computers and she mentioned that patients had the option to complete the paperwork right on the computers. Talk about high tech! When it was time for my appointment, I was greeted by Dr. Dao. She was a really friendly and warm young lady. I was taken to get my x-rays done by another nice young lady and then to the semi private room for my cleaning. The first thing I noticed in the room was a plasma tv on the wall ….and another plasma TV on the ceiling!  I commented that was a first that I’ve ever seen in any dental office. But it doesn’t stop there. All the chairs are black leather massaging chairs, and they offer patients headphones to make them feel more comfortable if they choose not to hear the dentist at work. I was really impressed that they were thoughtful in providing these to the patients. Dr. Dao was very thorough and gentle with my cleaning. She explained everything that she was doing, while she was doing it, and asked often if I was doing ok throughout the cleaning. Talk about a great bedside manner. Any anxiety I might have had with going to see a dentist melted away as my back was massaged from the chair and the trust I had in Dr. Dao with the gentleness and professionalism she exuded with my cleaning. It is very rare for me to ever give a 5 star review. But this office truly deserves it. I had a camera on hand as I was going to an event later in the day and was given permission to snap some photos of their office. I’ve already set up my parents for appointments next month and plan on recommending them to anyone looking for a quality dentist that places the patient’s comfort and needs as a priority. Well done Monrovia Dentalcare!

I came to Monrovia Dental Care after not having been to the dentist in a good long while. Assuming that I was going to have some work to do I was a little embarrassed to finally get myself to the dentist but I was warmly welcomed into the fresh and modern Monrovia Dental Care clinic. The doctors and staff were friendly and understanding and before I knew it my first appointment was over! Dr. Refela took her time to do a very thorough exam, patiently answered all my questions, and used pictures from my own mouth to show me where I needed treatment  and where I had to improve my efforts.  From the digital forms to the digital pictures and xrays, I left my appointment with the feeling that I had received first rate care in a cutting edge environment. The work that I needed was taken care of in a few efficient appointments and with minimal discomfort, I was pleasantly surprised. As well I just found out that Dr. Refela is a clinical instructor at UCLA. I now have no excuse to attend my routine dental recalls

I love this dental office.  Dr. Refela is the best!  She is efficient, gentle  and caring.  I have been a patient of hers for over six years now.  One of the best things I can say is that they never sell you services you do not actually need.  My adult daughter had been told by two other dentists that she needed quite a bit of work done – at least two fillings and a deep cleaning.  She did not feel very comfortable with either of them doing the work.  I recommended Dr. Rafela and upon her exam somehow the cavities had miraculously disappeared.  Unfortunately, she did need the cleaning which she had done and was very happy with the service
