just got done with my treatment this week and I couldn’t have been more happy with it, although I still need surgery for my jaw but my teeth are still just so perfect. Dr. Moody and the staff have always been so nice and welcoming and always made me feel comfortable (AJ is my favorite!).Thankful for them for always trying to explain to me very carefully on what’s happening each time I went too. You won’t regret going here its literally the best they really know what they’re doing. <3

We always had a pleasant experience when we went for my daughter’s appointments. Dr. Moody is not only very knowledgeable in her field but extremely personable and makes her patients feel comfortable. Dr. Moody is wonderful at explaining her plan of action from the very first appointment through the entire process. Highly recommended and we will be back for kiddo number 2!

I absolutely loved the entire experience with Dr. Moody and her staff. The staff loves what they do and make you feel like family.  Dr. Moody, thank you for all that you have done. My smile turned out better than I ever imagined. I’ve never smiled so much in my life! The staff works very well together, office is super clean, my appointments were always on time, and the receptionists always have a smile on their face. If you want the best then I highly recommend Dr. Moody.

Absolutely the best orthodontist!!  Jeanie noticed my daughters orthodontics were having some issues the moment she met her.  Out of 7 kids 5 have had braces and I have to say the last was the best experience.  My poor daughter had orthodontics on when we moved to Austin and we chose a different orthodontist who missed that her back molars were impacted and turned the incorrect way.  We risked losing those back molars.   With some quick adjusting and pulled wisdom teeth where Dr. Moody had to go out to help by grabbing those back molars with brackets so that they could be moved into the empty spots the wisdom teeth left and saved her teeth, her smile and a major surgery.   Within a very short time Dr. Moody had fixed my daughters bite, the molars and made her teeth model perfect.  Her office was bar none the friendliest and easiest to work with and my child’s smile is pretty darn perfect.

I really enjoyed my visit there they were very very professional and extremely pleasant. Dr Moody went through everything throughly where I was able to understand what will be done on my son …My son really enjoyed and felt comfortable talking with both Moody and her assistant who originally works in the front desk but was filling in for the person on vacation . Her assistant did a great job and I wish I remembered her name . Although I a very nervous for my son to go thru the whole procedure of braces I know he will be in feet hands . Not smiling in pictures breaks my heart because he has a beautiful smile and after the consultation he found his smile again . Thank you to the staff at Moody orthodontist.

Great overall experience. I didn’t wear my retainer after getting my teeth straightened as a child so some of my teeth had shifted significantly by the time I was 30. Went to see Dr. Moody along with 4 other orthodontist in and around south Austin to see what to expect as far as treatment time and cost. Choose this place based on cost, location and treatment time estimate. Now that I am done, I am VERY happy with my decision as I finished 3 months early and the office got 50% of my treatment paid for by my delta dental insurance.

There is seriously nothing bad I could even think of to say about Dr. Moody and her staff. Every time I go to an appointment I am treated amazing from the moment I walk in, even if I am running a few minutes late! I feel like a whole new person with my smile. One thing I can promise you for sure is she will go above and beyond for you to make sure you are happy!

This is an update to the review that I left 3 months ago. I am now about 1/2 way finished with my refinement and I am confident that the results will be fine. Even though there was some issues getting everyone on the same page, we have hopefully worked through it. I would recommend Dr. Moody to anyone of any age for orthodontics.

Dr. Moody is the best!  She is the only one I would let touch my smile and braces.  Even before she started private practice, her main focus has always been top notch orthodontics and a passion for treating you like a WHOLE human being.  And she always takes the time to get to know her patients unlike those chain orthodontic factories.  She is one of the few people I actually recommend to friends and family for the best care in Austin!  Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Moody!!!

I’ve been to three orthodontists for consultations in Austin and Moody Orthodontics was head and shoulders above the others. The staff was nice, the office was beautiful and everybody was competent and professional but what really stood out was the techniques and technologies in use. Dr. Moody uses photos and digital X-rays while diagnosing you. This means you can sit in the chair and look at yourself on the big screen TV while Dr. Moody talks with you about jaw angulation, facial geometry, your bite, all that stuff. On top of that, Dr. Moody uses indirect bonding, which is a faster and more precise method of putting braces on teeth. This means you’re in and out faster and your braces have been placed EXACTLY where they should be. Most other offices are “looking into this” if anything. The last thing I noticed is that your photos and records are pulled up on the monitor right by the chair while she’s doing adjustments. I had braces the first time only 12 years ago but it felt like the stone age compared to what was going on at Moody Ortho. Seriously, if you’re anywhere near south Austin and you need your teeth straightened you should schedule an appointment here first.
