Definitely the best experience I’ve had at a dentist. Dr. Vane was the primary dentist for most of my work, dr. Bree performed 1 of the 2 root canals, and Diana was was the dental assistant. I cannot compliment them enough for the quality of work performed, their attention to detail, the technology and equipment in the office, the quality of the materials they use, how friendly everyone in the office is, and lastly how much they care about their patients. Above and beyond dental done in a homey environment at an excellent value. Highly recommend

Dr. Vane is seriously my favorite dentist ever, and having lived overseas in different countries for 15 years, I’ve visited a lot of dentists. Her professional expertise and skills are absolutely top-notch, and she is so personable, I would talk with her the whole time if I could. Everyone in her office is extremely professional, skilled and genuinely friendly, as well. Plus, her office feels more like a spa, but with all the latest, high-tech equipment. I left her for a year, hoping I might find someone else just as good in my insurance network – and didn’t – so I came back. She’s the best!

Dr. Nicole is very personable and her passion for dentistry and her customers shows. Her staff are wonderful. Had a great experience with Annie during my teeth cleaning process, she was very good and accommodating.

One of the hygienists, Shannon, was so great today when cleaning my teeth and thoroughly explained everything that she was doing. I love this place and as for someone who has EXTREME anxiety when it comes to the dentist that says a lot! It’s so beautifully decorated you feel like you’re in a spa. The staffs customer service is outstanding and Dr V makes you feel like you have been friends for years! I highly highly recommend!

Dr. Vane and her staff were absolutely amazing. I have been to other dental practices before and none of them can compare. I had multiple fillings done as well as repair to previous work that was done poorly and have been more than happy with the results. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. If you choose to visit Moonlight Beach Dental then I assure you that you will be making a great choice.

I had a new hygienist Shannon today for a cleaning and x-rays, she is terrific!  Not only skilled at the hygienist part, but very cool and fun to converse with during the hour. I also was noticing today what a nice environment Nicole and crew have created at the office. It is so warm and inviting with the all the attention to detail in every room (it first hit me in the bathroom where at 8 in the morning they already have a few candles burning to help set the mood (just number 1… hee hee, they have those spray cans for number 2 visits(!))… kidding aside, everything in the office is high quality… from the images on the walls, the flooring and decor, the state of the art dental equipment, to the staff and work performed… it is an exceptional place!

Delightfully surprised by the setting – not your usual dental office! The hygienist was exceptional, the doctor gave me some new information about my teeth and health, and Eleanore was warm and helpful. Will definitely go back and recommend to others!

From the time I called to make my appointment my experience has been excellent. The staff is friendly and works to make the entire experience one of ease and comfort. The office decor promotes a feeling of calm and upon arriving my greeting was friendly. Of note, is the absence of a traditional reception counter thereby promoting a feeling of inclusion vs separation as is felt in most dental/medical offices. My examination utilized the most up-to date equipment which I felt was very beneficial in the explanation of my dental issues and what could be done to resolve them. Natalie was my dental hygienist who explained clearly what she was doing and her findings during my cleaning. She was gentle and very thorough. Shannon took my initial x-rays and pictures, and she too was very informative with information to help reduce the inflammation of my gums. My examination by Dr. Vane, was exceptional in that she was very thorough and took the time to explain what she found and what could be done to correct some long term issues that had been overlooked by other dental professionals. Dr. Vane was very informative, yet without the sales pressure I’d experienced in other dental offices. In closing, my experience at Moonlight Beach Dental was exceptional in every way.

Moonlight Beach Dental is the best dental practice in San Diego. I drive 35 minutes to Encinitas just for Dr. Nicole Vane’s expert care and the staff’s professional customer service. They are simply incredible. Recently I broke a front crown. Dr. Vane took me for a quick appointment and got everything fixed beautifully within days. Another time she gave me advice that prevented a bad situation with a root canal. She’s thorough, very quick and is always educating herself on the latest techniques. Can’t say enough about the staff They are kind, remember details about me, helpful and provide good tips on dental hygiene. I am a huge wuss when it comes to pain, and they always make sure I’ve got enough Novocaine to feel comfortable. As a plus, her office is beautiful, relaxing and in a gorgeous location with ocean breezes. And I can watch Disney movies during all the procedures, and no one laughs when I choose Finding Nemo. Try her out! You’ll never need another dentist again as long as you live.

I loved Dr. Vane and her staff!  Everyone was super friendly from the time you walk in until you leave.  The office is super cute.  There are a lot of dentists in my area, but I chose Dr. Vane to be my dentist and feel comfortable entrusting her with my dental care, even though it is a little drive for me.  She has a plethora of knowledge and is very informative.  Her office is very modern with the highest technology.  You can even pick a movie to watch while you’re there.  I even received a follow up phone call and text the following day.  I love Dr. Vane and her staff!  Will definitely be back :).

You know it’s a great place when the staff is friendly and they speak so highly of each other. Such a great atmosphere! Moonlight Beach Dental Clinic is just amazing!! No where else have we found such kind, genuine and holistic care and expertise as well as a modern and beautiful clinic. Dr. Nicole Vane and her whole team truly make a difference in dental care! My husband and I gladly drive nearly 4 hours in each direction just to have Dr. Vane and her team care for us and our teeth.  I found Dr. Vane after years of postponing my wisdom tooth extractions because I didn’t understand why I needed to remove them, and I feared what could go wrong during the procedure. Most dentists saw that I had wisdom teeth and simply confirmed the blanket statement that “wisdom teeth can cause problems down the road and must be removed,” but did not elaborate on why. Dr. Vane, however, examined each tooth individually and explained to me which of my teeth needed to be removed, which ones could stay, and why. My great nightmare of so many years actually turned out to be a smooth, successful, and even relaxing surgery… what a relief!! Dr. Vane recommended Dr. Nytko and together they did a great job in removing my wisdom teeth in a gentle and holistic way. Their holistic protocol includes using platelet rich fibrin (PRF), removing the periodontal ligament, and using ozone therapy to reduce pain, swelling and recovery time after extractions, to help clean bacteria and to promote healing of the jaw bones. The recovery process was so smooth I didn’t even need to fill the heavy pain-killer prescription. The treatments and care I received were just amazing, and after fearing this surgery for so many years, my trust in Dr. Vane and her team have left me feeling such joy, confidence, and liberation.  If you are looking for a holistic, gentle, kind and professional dental care team, I recommend 100% the Moonlight Beach Dental Clinic with Dr. Nicole Vane and her wonderful team! In all my treatments, from cleanings to root canals to crowns to tooth extraction, I felt relaxed and well cared-for from the minute I walked through their doors to the minute I left. I’ve never written a YELP review or felt inclined to do so until today. I’ve been going to Moonlight Dental for about two years now and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a nicer staff, a more comfortable atmosphere and a dentist that can numb my mouth without me even feeling the needle. Honestly, this place is the best! You walk in to a scent of yummy candles, cleanliness and again, the nicest front desk crew, ever. They have flat screen tvs so you can watch a movie (with a headset) while you’re getting your work done and if that’s not good enough, there is a TV on the ceiling in case your seat leans back. Dr. Vane – you are the best and I am grateful to everyone on your team and I’m sorry my last dentist should have considered retiring back in the 90s. Thank you!!!

Excellent experience at Moonlight Beach Dental!  I had to come into the office for an emergency work-in to have and upon arrival, I was taken to the back by Natalie (Hygienist) so that I could have x-rays taken.  Needless to say, I always dread this part of the visit, but Natalie was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable.  As for the filling Mike (Assistant) and Dr. Vane were amazing.  Mike was very detailed with his patient care instructions and prepared for what to expect with the procedure and things to be aware of if I am having issues with my filling.  I would definitely recommend this practice for anyone looking for a new dentist and I plan on coming back for my future care.

I took my daughter (8 yrs old) to the Moonlight Beach Dental to receive her first fillings. She was very nervous and really didn’t want to go. I told her that Dr. Vane would be doing her fillings and she started to smile. She said, “Mom, I like her and I will be brave.” So when it came time for her appointment today, she walked into the room by herself and very confident. Dr. Vane made my daughter feel very comfortable during the whole procedure. My daughter walked out the same way she walked in. Thank you so much Dr. Vane, we will be back!

I was looking for a new dentist because my former dentist of 27 years sold his practice. I had seen the sign for Moonlight Dental many times and decided to check them out. I was able to get an appointment for a cleaning and exam quickly. Upon arrival I was greeted by their friendly staff and before long my appointment was underway. They took x-rays and pictures of my teeth. They were very thorough at looking at everything. After that came teeth cleaning. Definitely well done. I then had my exam with the dentist. She explained everything and presented her findings. Everything was well explained and all questions were addressed. There were a couple of teeth that needed some attention and they outlined the process and costs in a clear and concise manner. They definitely have up to date equipment and methods and are definitely a step beyond your average dentist. I would recommend that you give them a try. It has only been one visit, but I think that I have found my new dentist.

I actually fly in from Denver to go to see Dr. Vane and the Moonlight Dental team. She is an incredible dentist and has created an office culture and team that focuses on the overall client experience all while care taking your teeth. It’s state of the art technology and skill, with the feeling of a spa.  From the second you walk into the door, the colors are bright, you are greeted with a smile in a bright cheery, good smelling waiting area.  This is not your usual dental experience – it will actually make you want to go to the dentist. And fly in for it!  It is worth the trip.  Thank you to the whole team for your very good care.

Let me start out by saying this is my very first yelp review. I felt compelled to finally write one after visiting Moonlight Beach Dental when i lost a crown. I can only echo all the other reviews…”amazing”. It’s nice to know after years of being in the HMO pool of dentists (and my teeth are a mess), i finally met someone skilled enough to tackle the rework. Dr. Vane and her staff are top shelf!!

Dr. Vane and team are on top of it. If you are looking for a dentist office that will help you manage your schedule and take care of your dentist related needs, this is your office. Dr. Vane goes out of her way to ensure you have the appropriate treatment and support. Her team is very inviting and helpful. Nicole Vane has showed up on her own time to fix a tooth emergency (cap that fell off), she goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your service and the results. I came from a prior dentist that ruined my teeth and Dr. Vane and team have mapped out a long term strategy to get me back my beautiful teeth. They have shared this plan in English and make it financially worth while.

Dr. Nicole Vane is fantastic!  I needed a root canal and had several old silver fillings that needed to be replaced, and she took such good care of me! She was so accommodating as far as my schedule, and she worked with me to make helpful financial arrangements. Her staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I’m so pleased that I found Dr. Vane and I can’t recommend her highly enough; she’s awesome. One more thing…her movie selection is outstanding.
