I have been a patient of Dr. Sparkman for a few years now. I can honestly say that he is the best dentist I have ever been to. His “chair side” manners are outstanding. The staff is always pleasant and extremely accommodating. In addition to my regular check ups, I have had a crown and a root canal and can honestly say that both procedures were painless. Dr. Sparkman regularly checked on my comfort level for both procedures and made adjustments when necessary. He truly is a skilled professional.

Dr. Sparkman and his staff have been taking care of our teeth for over 23 years! We have moved all over the northern suburbs from Dunwoody to Duluth to Alpharetta and while all of our other physicians have changed, we’ve never once considered leaving Dr. Sparkman or his excellent staff. We happily make the commute because of the level of genuine and professional care. The office is spotless. The technology is superior. The experience is fast and friendly. They honor my appointment time so punctually, that I never have time to finish a magazine article in the lobby. When I arrive for my cleaning, they know that I get cold in air conditioning, so often they have a warm blanket waiting for me! This is customer care! During my root canal, Dr. Sparkman put me at ease and took personal care of me. Dr. Sparkman and his staff dispel the rumors that going to the dentist is a traumatizing thing. It is not! It does not have to be if you’ve got the right dentist, and we do!! Highly recommend Dr. Sparkman!

I can go on and on about how great they are but I want to emphasize ,EVERYONE, in the office is like family. since 2004 I have been to the office every six months (or sooner) and never ever felt like I needed to seek another Dentist for anything. We’ve been going to Dr. Sparkman for 11 years. Love the entire staff. Once we had children, our sons would go w/ me for my visits and when they were of age, they received their first check up by Dr. Sparkman. Our whole family continues to drive down to Dunwoody even after moving to Buford. It is well worth the drive. Our children have never had a bad experience. As others have said, he has a wonderful manner, is always up to date on the newest procedures and treats you like a friend ( which he has become over the years). Dr. Sparkman is not only a great dentist, but a humanitarian as well. I just met him this Saturday, July 4th holiday weekend because he was the only dentist out of 47 that I called, to get emergency dental care for my 97 year old father, that called me back. Not one other dentist would assist me. My Dad was in great distress and Dr. Sparkman said “Of course, I’ll help you”. He is simply amazing! He fixed my Dad right up with no problem. He is so humorous, warm and engaging that I can’t say enough about him. When I went to this website to write a review, I read about his background and credentials and, I must say, I am very impressed, but not at all surprised after meeting him. Now he has 2 new patients for life. I cannot thank you enough dear, Dr. Sparkman for what you did for us.

Dr. Sparkman has been my dentist for 20 years. He started with me and then as my kids were born, he became their dentist too. He has treated us with all types of dental work and he and his staff always make us feel right at home. My kids–now teenagers love Dr. Sparkman and his staff. They have watched them grow up and have gotten to know him. Going to the dentist has never been scary. My daughter had to have cavities filled in her baby teeth when she was very young. But she was never scared around Dr. Sparkman. He’s not particularly convenient to where I live or work but I still come to him because he and his staff are that great.

Dr. Sparkman and his staff are fabulous. I am a long time patient (almost 20 years) and have had no complaints with cleanings or more major procedures such as root canals, crowns, surgery, etc. He is always on top of the latest procedures, tools and research and his office is state-of-the-art. Everyone is very professional and the atmosphere is easygoing, making a what could be an otherwise stressful visit a calm one. I have never been pressured into considering any vanity dentistry but appreciate being told about options I may have with regard to my dental health or the appearance of my teeth. Many of the staff have been there as long as I have been going, Elaine and Charlene in particular. Going to the dentist is like visiting friends a couple of times a year. They are professional, knowledgeable and very good at their jobs, but they are also wonderful human beings – so much that my husband and I drive a long distance for appointments since moving away 13 years ago. I stumbled upon his office when I needed an emergency dentist and have never looked back. I highly recommend Dr, Sparkman and team.

For my birthday, my mom purchased a whitening treatment from Dr. Sparkman. I thought I was going into the office to take my daughter for her regular visit for her braces. However, my mom got with Charlene and Elaine and surprised me to have my teeth whiten while my daughter was getting her braces retied. They had the chair decorated with a happy birthday banner. I’ve been going to Dr. Sparkman for several years and my entire family sees him, as well. When you are well into your 50’s and have a lifetime of too much sugar and not enough floss, the news isn’t always positive. However, I have found that quality dentistry comes at a cost. Whenever Dr. Sparkman has to make a less-than-pleasant recommendation, he tries to delay the work for as long as possible to reduce my physical or financial pain. He’s “expensive”, but losing my teeth or dealing with an inept dentist (I’ve had several of those in my time, too), is worth it. He’s fair. He’s honest. And his staff is exemplary.

After receiving the reminder telephone call from Elaine about my appointment this week, I realized that after years of fear and dread caused by past dental experiences from other dentist, I was actually excited to hear from my dentist. Dr Sparkman has always worked hard to put me at ease. Ten years ago, at my first visit, I confessed to Dr Sparkman that I had a complete fear of all dentist. He and his staff treated my concerns with sensitivity and compassion. They explained every step and comforted me along the way. Most importantly, my fear had kept me out of a dentist office for many years and I had many issues to deal with. It has taken many visit to correct my issues, but today I am so grateful that I found the most professional, medically advanced, and compassionate dentist in the Atlanta area. Dr. Sparkman and his staff are super! I have been going to him for about 10 years now. He has put in at least four crowns for me. What I like best is that he has state of the art equipment. Digital x-ray which uses less radiation and he can make your crowns right in the office. No temporaries where you have to come back for the final crown. He has a milling machine in the office which makes the final crown while you wait. He is also very fair. I broke a night guard and he didn’t charge me for a replacement.

I was in a tragic accident falling from about 8 feet in the air, slamming my face into concrete. This caused me to chip my two front teeth horribly and lose a tooth as well. My mom found Dr. Sparkman at around 10:00 a.m. and he told us to come in even though his office would be closing at 2:00. As soon as we arrived it took about 30 seconds to be called to the back and Dr. Sparkman was already on his way to come see me, he knew it was going to take a lot of work so while his assistant was taking my x-rays he went to go grab a bite to eat and even bought me a bowl of chicken noodle soup since I couldn’t eat anything hard. He then performed two root canals, made me a fake tooth for the time being, put filling on my two front teeth, and placed a wire on my teeth to hold them together all in the same day. We were there from 10:30 in the morning to 6:00 at night, but Dr. Sparkman did not care how long it took as long as he made me look pretty again. With his hilarious sense of humor and amazing generosity, him and his assistant made me feel so comfortable and Made sure I had no pain. My mother had already decided that first day that he was going to be our new family dentist. The staff makes you feel right at home and really does care about your well being. 10/10 I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone. He is

For my routine visits, they are on-time (I have never sat more than 5 minutes in his waiting room) and thorough. When I had a recent emergency with excruciating tooth pain, he worked me in the same day.
