Last year I was visiting friends in Upland after flying down from Oregon. I landed with a bum tooth and searched for a Dentist. I was fortunate enough to find Dr Rivera at Mountain View Dental. It was an easy walk from where I was staying and an easy walk from Cable airport. The staff fitted me in quickly with a smile and reassurance. The office was comfortable and in no time I was seen. Dr Rivera is very professional. She explained what she would do making sure I understood. I was prepped for a crown and at the same she time took care of a side issue with another tooth. She is very focused and professional and when the crown arrived she seated it perfectly. Several months later I came back down from Oregon and she dealt with a tooth I might have lost but she saved it. The aide and staff were very helpful and pleasant. I look forward to returning to Mountain View when I make my next visit to Upland. I highly recommend Dr. Rivera and her staff.

Dr. Yvette Rivera was very professional, personable, and did show compassion for a person like myself with a lot of anxiety going into a dental office. I went to this office for the first time this month. The Dr that worked on me was great! She was patient and walked me through my entire dental cleaning. The staff is also extremely kind. As soon as I got there they greeted me with a smile! I waited for less than 5mins before I got to see the Doctor so the wait time is ridiculously short! I definitely recommend this place!

Now I love going to the dentist in general. . I know I’m a special one but this experience was by far the best I’ve had. Its very modern, updated and tidy! The staff(Gina and Cindy) and Dr Rivera go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. From offering coffee, tea, water to giving you a blanket if your cold, I’m mean what hospitality. Before the exam Dr. Rivera and I sat and talked about my previous dental work and what concerns I had about my teeth. Which I thought was so great. Moving on to the exam, it was good, we took x-rays and pictures of my teeth then went over treatment which I needed about 9 fillings replaced. Gina came over after the exam to go over my benefits and payment. We split up my treatment and worked out my financing , which they are willing to work with you! They were able to do my whole right side that day plus my cleaning. The whole exam didn’t feel to long I was distracted by the telly on the ceiling. But Dr made sure to ask how I was doing and did such a great job. I will definitely be following up with them for my second part of my treatment and my 6 month cleanings!

I’ve been going to Dr. Rivera’s for a year now, for about a dozen visits in which some were minor but mostly major work due to years of not taking the greatest care of my teeth. I am still willing to drive 35 miles each way as Dr Rivera and her team are the most competent and friendly staff I have worked with. My latest series of dental work had me a little nervous as it was pretty major and would also be quite visible/cosmetic, something I had been putting off for over a decade because I just wasn’t sure I could trust anyone to do it right. But as I went through the process with Mountain View Dental I became more confident and excited toward my last visit and was not disappointed! I am so happy with the process and results… I feel transformed and am extremely grateful for what they have done for me. I love love love the gals at Mountain View Dental 🙂 Dr. Rivera and the team are so great at what they do and so so friendly. They really make going to the dentist a really pleasurable experience (it’s not everyday you would describe a dentist visit that way). Also, the amenities at the office are great! This was first visit and I left so impressed by my experience with Dr. Rivera and her team. My first experience was with Gina. She is kind, courteous and very welcoming. Next I met Selena. She was welcoming, made me feel at ease and she’s very efficient. I met with Dr. Rivera who took the time to build rapport with me and outlined our plan for the visit. She was easy to talk to, she’s extremely knowledgeable and offered me options. The office is clean, high tech and very welcoming. Dr. Rivera and her team are nothing short of amazing! When I tell you that I HATE going to the dentist, I mean that… like more than the average person, it’s probably my least favorite thing to do. I went to Dr. Rivera for my first appointment in almost 2 years due to the pandemic, and I was blown away by how friendly and calming her and her staff were. This is the most positive experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! I’ve since had two follow up appointments, one where I had to have a crown put on and another to have a filling, and both went so much better than I expected. She made sure to walk me through the entire procedure, put all my worries at ease, and the procedure itself wasn’t bad at all! Dr. Rivera was even kind enough to call me after my crown procedure to follow up and make sure I was doing okay. I can’t recommend Dr. Rivera enough, she is amazing!

Love, love,loved my dental visit today, I was greeted by nice staff and Dr. Rivera walked me in…I have never had that, she asked me what I had come in for and she focused on my issues and didn’t give me an outrageous bill!!!! I have been going to Dr. Rivera for years and she is absolutely great!! I completely trust her to only do dental work that needs to be done – unlike a lot of other dentists who will tell you you need all this work just because they’re trying to meet their quota for the month. Dr. Rivera is very personable and good about making sure you’re comfortable while she’s doing work on you. She is good about explaining why she’s doing what she’s doing and telling you all your treatment options, so that you can decide what works best for you. I have been to many dentists in a wide variety of cities but Mountain View Dental is the first dentist office I don’t dread going to. It has a convenient location and beautiful, relaxing office space with a little carpeted alcove for the kids with toys and their own TV. Gina at the front desk is always warm and makes a point to remember who you are and what work you are having done. One of my biggest complaints about previous dentist offices is that they will say that I need work done and request my consent prior to providing any information regarding cost and what your insurance will cover — that does not happen here. Gina has been very helpful in helping me sort through the insurance side of things in a very painless way. She takes her time explaining expenses, what’s covered, etc. and makes sure that I have a clear understanding before we schedule additional work.

I had a horrible toothache that was obvious I needed help ASAP, I went through the holidays with everyone being closed and by today I didn’t feel like driving to my former dentist all the way in Santa Clarita. I called as soon as they opened and they told me to come right in. I was greeted at the door and they were extremely helpful and understanding. She ordered me antibiotics and referred me to her colleague for a root canal. As I sit here and write this I’m all ready feeling better! Dr. Yvette Rivera Graduated from Temple University, she has been practicing since 2004. Dr. Rivera has always made the care and concern of her patients her top priority. She takes the time to get to know each of her patients and ensures they fully understand any treatment before it begins. In order to stay up to date with the latest technologies and procedures, Dr. Rivera attends multiple seminars throughout the year. She is also a member of the Mt. Baldy Study Club, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club. During her free time, Dr. Rivera enjoys traveling and hanging out with her husband and dogs.
