Dr. Wong and his wonderful team make the experience of getting braces a breeze!!! If possible, would rate a 10+++!! From your first to the very last visit, you are fully informed of your treatment and what to expect. You never leave not understanding what your visit entailed. I felt very comfortable asking any question I had which speaks volumes about the level of professionalism you can expect! As a client, you are highly regarded and treated with kindness which attests to the overall nature of Dr. Wong and his awesome team. The office is always readily welcoming, clean, and has employed the necessary COVID precautions. Highly recommend Dr. Wong and team!!!

My son is usually fearful of the dentist, but he actually enjoys coming to his orthodontic appointments. Dr. Wong has a very calming personality and speaking to my son in a way that is very comforting.  We never feel rushed when we come for our visits and Dr. Wong always explains all of the procedures before he begins his work.  I appreciate all of the time he spends with my son and I each visit and I can honestly say this has been a wonderful experience.  The office is very accommodating and they are able to schedule around my son’s busy school schedule.  As a parent, I feel that it is important to have nothing but the best for my children and I know that this is definitely the case here.

I was on a metal braces treatment plan for a little over two years, but Dr. Wong and his staff made it a really smooth journey! From our first consultation, Dr. Wong had been very patient, empathetic, and informative every step of the way. Treating an adult with an underbite/cross-bite comes with a some risks. I especially appreciate his honesty and clarity when he went over the outcomes of each possible treatment with me. Thankfully, we were able to go with the least invasive, yet successful plan. Now equipped with plastic retainers, I have never been more comfortable with my smile! Each visit was very efficient. Throughout this entire time, Dr. Wong’s staff has been nothing but cordial, and courteous. Each appointment was easy to set up; they also send reminders a few days before each one. Their diligence to having a safe environment really shows through all their extra precautions in response to this pandemic (e.g. limiting the number of people in the room, adding extra partitions, temperature checks, and symptom surveys). I highly recommend Wong Orthodontics for your braces needs!

I came to Dr. Wong to correct my bottom teeth which were shifting. I had never had braces before. Everyone on his team is super nice, efficient, and easy to work with. Every appointment I was in and out. I highly recommend Dr. Wong I will be sending my kids here as well and have already referred him to other friends and family!

After 3 consultations, I’m confident that I found the best orthodontist for my daughter in the 626 area. Dr Derek Wong is knowledgeable and made the process very easy. During the consultation they took free digital x-rays and identified all the problem areas. They also made sure to always involve my daughter and made her comfortable. In comparison to the other 2 consultations we got, office #1 which is a highly rated office in Pasadena, recommended to install an expander device on her uppers for 10 months (also $1,200 more expensive) and office #2 recommended my daughter to wear a face-brace at night. Dr. Wong didn’t recommend any of these extra devices. He said that my daughter’s crowding and over-jet were not severe enough and adding spacers with traditional braces will do. After just a month, I’m satisfied to see her teeth aligning nicely. I’m glad to find a doctor that will use the best and most reasonable method for the correction. The end result is all the same but it’s important that the Doctor has his/her patients’ best interest and not have them go through unnecessary steps for the correction. The staff were all attentive and friendly. And the office is also nice. My daughter is looking forward to come back and play with the arcade machine that is in the waiting area.

I never thought I would be happy about getting braces, as an adult patient, I was really nervous about the process. I am relieved my coworker referred me. During the (free) consultation, I received information about the ortho options and it was easy to understand. Dr. Wong was clear and honest about his recommendations for my case, and I appreciated that he was direct and also took the time to address any issues I had. I am 13 months into my treatment, and I am really happy with the results so far. Financially, I think the practice provides flexible options for payment. My regular visits are easy and I actually look forward to them. I think I must have really thought braces would be a nightmare (I’ve heard bad stories), but it’s actually been the opposite. Maria, Lupe and Gladys are amazing! They make each visit feel comfortable and easy. They are very organized and provide great service. I’m looking forward to bringing my kids when they’re ready – I know they will be in great hands! Can’t say enough good things!

To be honest, at first I was quote on quote ‘ortho-shopping’ and I was skeptical about which orthodontist to choose but I’m glad that I made the decision of continuing my journey of getting straight teeth with Dr.Wong. All his staff are super friendly, great smiles at first impression, and accommodate with your needs. If you were to have any concerns you can always rely on him and his staff to explain everything to you with detail. So far, I’m on my second month of having braces and I already see significant improvement ! I will continue on adding more updates in the future as my journey of getting that perfect smile continues !

Yesterday was our last appointment and let me tell u I wasn’t ready to say goodbye . Dr. Wong , Lupe, Maria, and Gladys are the best! So professional and friendly. They always made me feel welcomed and any time I had to reschedule it was so easy. Dr. Wong is amazing! These past few years flew by and and I’m so happy with the outcome of my daughters teeth. From the beginning till the end he and his staff explained everything and made sure I understood and most importantly made my daughter feel comfortable. I totally would recommend him to my friends and family . Thank you for everything and most important thank you for giving my daughter that beautiful smile

Dr. Wong is the best orthodontist around! My youngest needed braces to correct a cross bite. I was very nervous as she was seven years old at the time she began her treatment. The entire process, which was around two years long, was easier than I imagined it would be. Dr. Wong is very gentle, a concern for me with a young child, and as nice as can be. You will get reminder emails/calls for your appointments and if you happen to miss one (whoops!) rescheduling is easy. It’s never a long wait to be seen and the appointments are quick and as painless as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Wong for your orthodontic needs, particularly if you have a child on the younger side.

Dr Wong and his office have been very nice and professional in providing the treatments for my children. No hassle with our insurance, no waiting, plenty of parking in the structure. He is always available to answer your questions of concerns. Best opens on Saturdays and it’s busy but not overcrowded as many orthodontic offices. I always recommended him to all my friends! 🙂 07/11/2020 Our family is very pleased with the service and kind attention of the staff and Dr Wong. As a mother working in the medical field, our family understands and takes covid19 precautions seriously.
