This was my initial visit and everyone from the time I entered the office treated me like they have known me for a while and that they were there to assist and help me. Everyone was kind, courteous and professional, I feel very confident that I will be able to get all my concerns for my dental care addressed with Mountainside Family Dental.

I needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction due to an infection, and I couldn’t have been happier with how it went. not only was I in and out in 30 minutes, but the next day, I barely have any pain. They even held my hand during the Novocain shots, which really helped me stay calm.

The office staff was very friendly and courteous from the first phone call to my arrival. They were able to get me in for a same day visit. My hygienist was very patient and gentle, my dentist was kind and thorough, and the staff treated me as though I had been going there for years! I highly recommend Mountainside! Billie was awesome to talk to and work with, very empathetic and warm. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. It was a wonderful experience and this will be my family’s dentistry for years to come!

As you can imagine, getting my teeth cleaned during the current pandemic was a less than happy consideration, but it was beyond my normal cleaning timeframe. It helped that I was the first in, but the waiting room had been reset for physical distancing. I was called in quickly, the hygienist was appropriately PPE’d and my X-rays and cleaning went quickly, with the dentist doing a final check. At no time did I feel that my health was in jeopardy, a major consideration since I’m in the COVID-19 high-risk category.. Definitely a positive experience and I can completely recommend them.

After moving to Arizona, I hadn’t found a dentist I was comfortable with so I was relieved when I found Mountainside Family Dental. They gave me an extremely competitive price for a cleaning as a new patient and did a great cleaning. Dr. Mayer was my dentist and he thoroughly explained all the dental procedures I should undertake along with the seriousness and timeline by which I should get them done. I had braces as a teen and Dr. Mayer knew exactly what had been done and why, and put me on a dental path I felt good about. Everything was explained and the time was taken to figure out my dental history. I don’t have dental insurance so the staff gave me plenty of information and options. I didn’t feel pressured at all but rather someone was looking out for my dental health and explaining how, when, and why it should be done. That’s so relieving to find. There was also a very healthy and professional atmosphere throughout the clinic. I would recommend Mountainside Family Dental and Dr. Mayer.

Had not been to the dentist in a while had an appointment made for me there so I went scared. The staff were so nice & made sure that I was comfortable & alright as they cleaned my teeth & filled an old cavity falling out. They fixed my two front teeth that are super yellow have been like that ever since I can remember. Now I have two front white teeth and not afraid to smile! It was a GREAT Experience! I am so glad that appointment was made for me. Everyone that works there is GREAT & caring & supportive! Thank you so much for what you did for me!

I was having tooth pain and my dentist was unable to see me because I needed a same day appointment. Called Mountainside Family Dental and they were able to get me in that afternoon to perform a root canal. Dental visits are never pleasant but Dr.Mayer and his entire staff provided an atmosphere that was calming, reassuring and caring. Highly recommend Mountainside Family Dental!

Dr. MAYER and his staff are great. From the front desk to his dental assistants you provided with courteous and efficient service. Also on his staff is Dr.Kurt Bazillus who pulled my wisdom teeth. He was very professional and I sailed through the procedure with no discomfort. KUDOS to MOUNTAINSIDE Dental. You guys are definitely A+☺

I am in coming to this place for a very long time and it is absolutely my favorite dentist that I have ever had. I’m 51 years old I have went through probably three dentists in my life and this is hands-down the best place that I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. May make you feel very comfortable from the time you walking to the door until the time that you leave. Very great staff as well, as courteous And professional.

I’ve been through a number of dentists over the years, changing if I don’t like their service or personnel, so I’m not easy to please when it comes to dentistry. I was referred to Mountainside by my wife who raved about them, but it still took me over a year to book an appointment. Now I’m sorry that I waited so long! My wife sees Dr. Wright and I see Dr. Mayer and we have no complaints about the doctors or the staff there. The dental-hygienist, Suzanne, is very gentle but thorough in her cleanings and took the time to explain what I could do to improve my checkups. Everyone is friendly and we have had no issues with the dental care or even the billing! We highly recommend Mountainside Family Dental. We drive 12 miles each way and it’s worth the effort!

Mountainside Family Dental has been one of the best dental experiences. A refugee friend of mine needed dental work and could not afford it. Dr. Mayer and Stacey helped out in a big way. They saw a need in their community and met it. My friend was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. It is the individuals like Dr. Mayer and Stacey that remind me of all the good that exists in this world. Their kindness to a complete stranger in need has left a forever impact on me. I’m still in awe of their act towards my friend. Dr. Mayer, Stacey, and Mountainside Family Dental will forever be one of my favorite dental offices. I’m so grateful that people exist in this world to give back to those in need and be the community in the most loving way. Extremely grateful for this experience, Dr. Mayer, and Stacey for reminding me what kindness is suppose to look like.

This dental office has exceed my expectations. A refugee friend of mine needed emergent dental care, she was not able to afford any care. Dr. Mayer and Stacey made it happen. This dentistry is not your typical dental office. Dr. Mayer and Stacey reached out and met the needs of someone in their community who could not pay in return. Not only did they take care of my friend, from the moment she entered their office she was treated with respect and dignity. She was treated no different than any other client. Currently, she does not speak English, but no words were needed for her to leave their office feeling loved, valued and taken care of. It is with individuals like Dr. Mayer, Stacey, and the rest of Mountainside Family Dentistry that make the world a little bit brighter. I was reminded that day all the good that exists. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. Grateful!

I have been going to Mountainside family dental for a few years now. The entire staff is so friendly. I recently needed two root canals and I was so relieved that I experienced no pain at all. Compared to a previous dental office I visited before Mountainside Dental was referred to me they are amazing.

I just moved to AZ and I must admit I was extremely nervous to find a new dentist after having what I thought was the best dental team anywhere. Based on reviews of Dr. Mayer and the Mountainside Family Dental team, I took a leap of faith and I am certainly glad that I chose this team for my dental care! The entire staff from the front desk, to the x-ray tech, hygienists, and Dr. Mayer are extremely professional and caring! Not only did Dr. Mayer pay compliments to my prior dental team for the work they had done in the past, but he took the time to get to know me…and his is funny! I love a funny dentist! I highly recommend this team if you’re looking for a comfortable environment and caring dental professionals.

I cannot say enough kind words about this office. I came in with terrible pain in my teeth and a fear of dentists. Everyone was very gentle with me, going out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They helped me to get everything taken care of and I was finally able to face my fears and get some relief from the pain. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at mountainside!

I wish I would have found this team of dental professionals 10 years ago! They all seem to really love working together, and they all manage up each other! They never seem to harried to take the time and chat with you. Dr. Meyer is no doubt a busy guy, but he sat down with me until all of my questions were answered. He clearly cares about what he does and it shows in his bedside manner.

Went for a routine annual cleaning of my teeth and my experience was great. The front office staff was very friendly, upbeat and courteous. The hygienist was very knowledgeable and thoroughly explain her process. Doctor B. reviewed my x-rays and made clear exactly what I needed for a beautiful smile� I can’t wait for my next visit !

I just moved to AZ from Los Angeles. This is the first time I have to do something like take a WHOLE tooth out because it was no longer good, all on my own with out family here to comfort me. I was very nervous and the staff made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. As I received my numbing shot (which doc Mayer is amazing at giving) Stacy held my hand. That meant a lot To me. The same day I called for more questions and they never seem bothered or annoyed to help, they are actually happy I do call so they can check on how I’m doing. Dr. Mayer himself called me a day AFTER to see how the bleeding was and how I felt. My check up is Wednesday and I feel more confident and less nervous about going in. I am not a fan of going to the dentist.  However, after coming here for some major dental work, the fear is now gone.  From the people at the front desk, the dental assistants and my dentist……..my care was their top priority.  I cannot say enough about this place.  Outstanding all around and genuinely nice regular everyday people.  Thanks so much!!!!

First time at mountainside and the best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. Front staff was wecoming and friendly. Efficiently got me in and into the dentists chair. My dental hygienist was also freindy and quick to task making the visit quick and virtually painless. X rays and a cleaning and then an examination by dr Meyer. Great guy, very friendly and explained what my options are. Definitely my new dentist.
