I have been going to Jeff Mulford at Mulford dental care on Willamette st in Eugene for several years now and would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a new dentist. Dr. M is very gentle and caring and his staff are all very professional and pleasant to deal with. I just wish I had been able to go to him when I was younger but he was probably just a glint in his parents eye at that time.

When I first moved to Eugene in 2014, I was lucky enough to have found Dr. Mulford. Since being a patient I had had a crown put on, a root canal and been in for bleach trays & every single time I am met with friendly, fast and efficient service. I am not a fan of the dentist, but Dr. Mulford is able to put me at ease and answer any and all questions I have. Michelle, his assistant, is so friendly and great at what she does. The same can be said for the receptionist, Brittany. They always make sure my insurance covers as much as possible and are flexible with payment plans which is always a relief for a college student like myself. I highly recommend their office!

I’ve seen four primary care dentists in my life…Dr. Mulford and staff for several years now. My rating reflects the absolute satisfaction I have with all aspects of his practice and the performance of staff…Friendly, compassionate, professional, cutting edge treatment, top notch facility and convenient location. I highly highly recommend their services to you.

I have been a patient of Dr Mulford’s for two years now along with several of my family members. I have received amazing care from him and his staff. Dr Mulford is kind, gentle, thorough and most of all, he cares about your teeth. It’s the most inviting dental office I’ve ever been in. The office manager greets me with a beautiful smile and does a great job working with busy schedules.

I have been going to Dr. Mulford for dental care for 8 years. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.  They are willing to help in any way they can and have been flexible with my busy schedule.  Dr. Mulford is very gentle and comforting.  The office is always emaculate.  I have had nothing but great experiences with the very helpful staff!

I have been here twice now. I went in December 2017 as a new patient and they were able to get me in same day, not only did we do the new patient stuff; x-rays, went through my concerns, etc., but they were also able to get my in for a teeth cleaning! The hygienist I worked with was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I went to school for human physiology so I alway like to see how engaged someone else is the the medical field. I love that my hygienist named each tooth (anatomically correct) as she went along, and kept me updated as to what she was doing. I went in this morning to get a few fillings, Dr. Mulford was absolutely amazing at asking my opinion – if I felt like I needed to numb up, he let me know he thought that we may be okay since the area was shallow. He also insisted that if this wasn’t the route I wanted to go we could numb up at anytime! I appreciated that. I went without numbing and he constantly asked how I was doing and if I thought I needed to be numbed. I made it through without being numbed and the whole process took about 50min. He also gave me some great recommendations and options for a slight chip in my front tooth. We tried an option right then and there to smooth the area out and I wasn’t to fond of the result, just because of the awkward placement of my chip, so he is going to fill it for me in a few weeks. The receptionist is always so sweet at making sure we schedule any additional appointments to my liking and I am very appreciative of that. I also love the text reminders that the send before the appointments.

When we moved to town 5 years ago we tried several dentists (4 others). I’ve been impressed with the staff and Dr. Mulford. Professional and personable. Our three kids started by going to a local Pediatric Dentist, but we had some had experiences and felt like their office was a used car lot. We were pressured into treatment that I felt was unnecessary and invasive at the other Dentists office. We’ve felt none of that here. Our kids now go to Dr. Mulford and have had great experiences

I am getting on in years, and really want to take care of my “choppers.” Jeff Mulford gets that and helps me keep my ivories happy. The office is like visiting a modern art museum as well. Kathy has been my hygienist for the three years I’ve been getting a cleaning every 6 months, and she is gentle, caring and personable, as are all the staff.

For years, I stayed living in the SF Bay Area because I liked my dentist so much. When he finally retired, I moved to Eugene. And guess what? Jeff Mulford is even better than my last dentist. He’s super communicative, appropriately conservative, does very precise, skillful restorative work, and painlessly so. I just hope he never retires!

1) He listens to your concerns and takes time with you. 2) They don’t try to sell you on everything, like the “chain” dentist offices do. 3) Locally owned! 4) Did Invisaligns–he’s experienced (don’t use a dentist that has no experience) and worked to make it work for me as every set of teeth is different. 5) Reasonable priced (unlike those “chain” dentists).

I’ve always had a “reservation” about going to the dentist, but since going to Mulford 10 years ago I have had so many better experiences so I don’t dread going! Their staff is the kindest and funniest and down to earth staff I’ve had and it makes going in something to look forward to so I can chat with them. 🙂 I highly recommend Mulford Dental!

Since moving to Eugene 8 years ago, I have been going to Mulford Dental Care. Dr. Mulford has gone out of his way to accommodate my schedule and any emergencies. He is an excellent dentist. He is very gentle and I have never experienced any pain. The offices are beautiful and his staff is great. I can recommend him without reservation. T. Schmitz

Dr. Mulford and his staff are great. Good attitudes. Good communication. Efficiently run. Nice, naturally lit, modern roomy building next to a gas station (look at the pictures associated with this Yelp thread). I call it “The filling station next to the filling station.” I have never doubted their professionalism for a moment, everything has been handled well. Honestly the best dental experience I’ve had overall. They’ve taken good care of our teeth for years.

Very professional and kind. Both appointments were completed faster than I anticipated. They are willing to use Nitrous if I needed, but so far that has not been the case, even though one was a long operation that included drilling. They were very understanding when I forgot to take my antibiotics prior to a cleaning and still got me in within a week, during the busy Christmas holiday season. Everyone is friendly and personable. I recommend them highly.

A coworker recommenced that I see Dr. Mulford after the dentist I had been seeing moved away. I have high dental anxiety and I was nervous about going to just any dentist. My first impression was great, the lobby is bright and clean and very modern. The receptionist was super friendly.  Dr. Mulford is very personable and did a great job taking my anxiety into consideration.  I have had 2 crowns and a filling in the last 2 months and I will be going back for a 3rd next year.  I have  been putting those off for several years because I didn’t think i could sit through it. All in all I am happy to have found a dentist that is great at what he does!

I hate dentists. But, like other necessities in life, it doesn’t matter, it just has to be done. Mulford makes it pretty easy- it is a nice office, good music to check out and focus on, they offer nitrous oxide to keep you in the chair, and the hygienist I have been seeing is painless, thorough, and great. Convenient location and good customer service. I am glad I found them and will keep going back.

The doctor and staff are trustworthy, and patient-centered: they take time to establish quality, lasting relationships and treat every person like family – after all they live in the same community they serve. Everyone there goes out of their way to do the right thing- and provide excellent dental treatment and care. The doctor himself is very conservative in his dental practices (meaning he doesn’t diagnose treatment that you don’t need). Finally, as if the high quality care wasn’t enough, the interior design, music selection and atmosphere are ultra-cool!
