I have been a client of My Face My Smile (originally Ballston Metro Dental) for two years.  I’ve had many trips to the office (oops – took poor care of my teeth in the past) and have never had a bad experience.  They take my insurance and I just hand Tiffany my HSA card for my smaller portion.  Several months ago, Michelle convinced me to use ACT daily.  Last week during a cleaning, Dr. Soltani had just the right tone to convince me to sleep with the mouth guard I obtained a year ago.  He gave me some practical tips to help ensure that I’d actually use it at night.  I started it last Friday and have used it ever since.  If you have to go to the dentist (yikes!), this is the place to go!   Tom C.

I wish I could give this place 100 stars because everyone on this staff, team is absolutely amazing! I won’t go into my big huge long story… but had bad dental work done while living on base in Japan with extreme tooth, mouth, and jaw pain. I was on 800 mg Motrin 3 x a day for over a month. We were moving during this process while vacationing, so we didn’t even have our home yet or anything. Tried a few dentists on vacation… they didn’t want to deal me… So we finally get settled in and I found this place on yelp. Dr. Soltani was absolutely amazing at listening to me, finding the main source of pain, and understanding my pain tolerance. It did take a few procedures and some hours but Dr Solatani and staff made it as comfortable as they could for me! I am pain free now and plan on going back for any other dental needs! I can’t thank Dr. Soltani enough!!

I had bad fear for any dental treatment, but Dr Soltani changed my perspective. With his help, I care a lot more about my dental health and picked up my encouragement to fix those problems. Dr Soltani is very patient and helpful. His bedside manner really clams me down during the treatments. Needless to say, his skill is top notch. He is also sympathetic and understanding to the insurance cap, and able to prioritize the plan to fit the budget. This place was renovated in the year of 2015, with all the new finish, millwork and equipments. It is well maintained and clean. Each of the room has nice amount of privacy, while also takes the advantage of the natural daylight from its floor to ceiling height windows (of course those are shaded with blinds). All of these spatial qualities really enhanced my experience. I enjoyed my treatments from here, and will come back regularly.

It’s hard to find a good dentist– and the process is grueling but Dr. Soltani surpassed my expectations! I found him on my insurance website and hoped the previous yelp reviews were accurate. He is one of the best dentists I’ve ever met (and that’s saying a lot because I get really bad anxiety going to dentists). His bedside manner was superb- he has a calming voice and walks you through the details of your x-rays, explains his treatment plan prior to going into your mouth, and then calmly talks you through as he’s working. I particularly like the way he explains preventative care and why cavities form, how they turn into root canals, how to avoid them in the future etc. The staff were also incredible. I recently went to a dentist that “surprised” me with a $40 fluoride rise (think half a shot glass of listerine) as I was leaving. The dentist didn’t bother to tell me it wasn’t covered by insurance until AFTER the fact. The staff at My Face My Smile, took x-rays (which they indicated would be free) then came to me with a sheet explaining what needed to be and talked me through how much was covered by insurance and what I would expect to pay out of pocket. This practice is the epitome of professionalism, attentiveness to patients, and fantastic customer service. I recommend Dr. Soltani and his staff to anyone looking for a fantastic dentist. I have a root canal scheduled this week and I know I’m in good hands.

Dr. Soltani has cleaned, done root canals and filled cavities without the least bit of discomfort. He explains things clearly and concisely while maintaining the thorough explanation that I needed to understand how to care for my teeth. Kay Kay his assistant is equally professional and remains polished and considerate of my needs because I am so nervous. Her sensitivity while completing her end of the job is priceless.

Although this dentist is not fully experienced paediatrics, they took good care of my son. While other had unfaithful high estimates for cavity. The dentist gave us 1/10 of the fee and did perfectly what we expected. Also, the front office took every care of every communication with the insurance company, which no other dentist offered us.

Dr.Soltani is completely amazing ! He helped me with extracting my wisdom teeth. I was super nervous but his wonderful staff made a warm welcoming . The doctor was super funny and sweet and assured me everything was going to be alright. Him and his Team answered all my questions and concerns. I was referred by my insurance and will definitely bring my family here !!!

I am so satisfied and so happy with Dr. Soltani! I came in for emergency and broke my tooth! He immediately saw me! I live in Arlington in ballston, I happened to walk pass by and walked in. He immediately took care of my tooth and did a root canal! It was a PAINLESS experience! As the anesthesia wore off, I felt so great! I went the next day to do same day crown!! I didn’t have to wait for two weeks to have my real crown like other dentist in past had to make me wait! Not this place! The front desk was so nice and the assistant had excellent bed side manner! I am bringing my family and friends here! They also accept my insurance delta dental too!

This is my family’s first visit and we are extremely pleased with the exceptional quality of customer service. The doctor and staff are very patient by explaining the needed procedures and offering alternate solutions. They fit us in all together and we’re extremely accommodating for follow-up visits. We highly recommend choosing them as your dental carer.

Dr. Soltani and his staff are nothing short of amazing!! They are extremely caring and professional. No matter what your situation is or how much anxiety you have when going to the dentist, Dr. Soltani is worth putting your trust in. They are there to help you, comfort you and work with you! They deserve the 5 stars!!

Came in and got laser hair removal, since I moved and the last place burnt me so I was hesitation. I am so glad I did, the staff are so friendly and Mojie was great! I even got a microdermabrasion and my skin looked amazing after, a little pink though but not red like most people i know who get it done from other places. It’s been a few weeks since my first laser treatment I already see results. I highly recommend this place! 🙂

Dr. Soltani is one of those dentists that make you breathe a sigh of relief. He is incredibly kind and gentle, with top notch skills, an impeccable bed side manner and always clear about prices and procedures. His assistants are amazing as well. I am ecstatic that I found this dentist to go to! I cold seriously not recommend anybody better in the DC area. An incredible value. Go here! You won’t regret it.

I was very terrified of Dentist, but due to pain I had to make a move and go. Just my luck Ballston Metro Dental was open and due to I was in pain the staff and the doctors were very understanding and stayed late to help me. Their office is very clean and State of the Art. They explained everything to me step by step. They even have payment plans that fit my budget. I have been back five times now to complete all my treatment and everytime I’m greeted with a smile. I can finally say I Love going to DENTIST with a smile on my face. My new smile is GREAT. THANK YOU SO MUCH BALLSTON METRO DENTAL
