They were super thorough and not only informed me about teeth facts more than anyone else, but they also spent more time cleaning my teeth than any other dentist which had a clear effect when I looked in the mirror. My teeth looked better than they ever have after an appointment!  They were also very friendly and welcoming, and I will happily go back and refer any friends in the area or even a bit further out of the area since they are that worth it! Also, parking is easy and they have a lot in the back.

I dropped off masks to my favorite dentist team at My Family Dentist. If you’re looking for a local dentist, this is the spot! I can’t say enough good things about this team of professionals. They utilize new technology, are very communicative and frankly, they renewed my spirit in dealing with dentists. Thank you Dr. Kamelia Mallak and team for treating me like family! Do not be afraid! If you don’t have a dentist go to the best! DR MALLAK is THE MOST KINDEST, PROFESSIONAL human being ever! Her work is perfect and I’VE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. Her staff IS THE KINDEST MOST PROFESSIONAL HUMAN BEINGS EVER. I went in yesterday with an emergency, she took care of it and CALLED ME TODAY TO SEE HOW I WAS! Really? She always takes time to talk with you, make you feel comfortable and the music really is awesome. If I’m nervous during a procedure I hum along with the music. I’m 62 and have never ever had such a calming, soothing experience with a dentist. She is the VERY BEST!

Well, I can speak for just about everyone who was and still is a valued patient of Dr. Tavernakis and Dr. Malak. Dr. T had a lot of love and compassion for all of his patients and Dr. Malak has continued his practice with the same values and principles….just putting the patient first!!! I cant believe it’s been 10 years since Dr. M has taken over and to see how far she, her staff and the office has grown, from the lovely and helpful lady at the front desk, the latest technology, and also having specialist on site for any and all needs. But it all comes back to patient care….and that’s where they excel and exceed above any other dentist office!!! Great staff too!!

This place is amazing!!! I was very impressed and I will definitely continue to go back. I found this place by doing a random Google search for great dentists in Long Beach and they had good reviews on Yelp. I’m so glad I gave it a shot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have top notch technology for x-rays, the hygienist was so friendly and made my deep cleaning seem like a piece of cake. Dr. Mallak was so warm and friendly and discussed all my options for future dental care. I am already recommending this place to friends and family, they are great!

I have been going to Dr Mallak ‘s office for almost over a year now,  I can describe the service as “Pain free, quick and good price too” . not to mention she has also free parking and office is located in an easy access from the street Dr Mallak ‘s office is very clean, she so strict on clean equipment,  not like other dentist i have been to before.  the office itself is so clean and the staff are very nice and welcoming. The front desk lady is  professional and she knows the patients and their needs right away.  Regardless of how busy the office is, The minute she saw me come in, she said Hi and pulled out my file which was ready for the appointment and  right away started to prepare me for the appointments Dr Mallak is such a nice person, I went  in for a deep cleaning. no one was  so detailed and  so patient to do the job. she is so honest to treat my dental needs whether it is something urgent or some regular checks as the deep cleaning. the injection i had was fine, didn’t feel a thing. I even had to ask her few times if she already gave me anesthesia. I’m so pleased also with the assistant , she is so sweet and once the doctor finishes. she stays with me till I’m ready to get up. she kept wiping my mouth and giving me water   and repeatedly tells me to take my time. Well regardless if what others might say. you have got to go to go to Dr Mallak if you have sudden pain or make an appointment for check up. You will never get a better service from anyone else. I have been to many dentist over the years and no one ever treat me as honestly as they do in this office.   Finally I want to say that  Dr Mallak is so generous and she will cater to the need of the patients to the extreme in all ways.

I’ve had a fear of dentist since I was a child due to horrible experiences. After visiting this dentistry I definitely feel more comfortable with dentists. I came a year ago because one of my fillings came out and I was in immense pain. All the dentists and staff were very understanding of my fear of dentists and gave me many options to treat my pain. I ended up getting a root canal which was PAINLESS… I did not feel any pain at ALL. I decided to come back for my 2 wisdom teeth extraction and again the procedure went quickly and flawlessly. I had no pain during the procedure and almost no swelling after. They were very thorough with the after care and the dentist called and checked up on how I felt after the procedure. Even though I’ve moved from the area, I come here regularly now for my dental checkups and teeth cleaning. The dentists, hygienists, and staff actually care and make me feel like a part of the family.

My experience at this office was flawless. Dr. Mallak and staff are the best. I tried out many dentist in the greater Los Angeles area before finally settling with Dr. Mallak. I’m usually in /out of the clinic within the hour, and have never waited more than 10 minutes to bee seen by her. Was referred by a co-worker and glad I decided to come here. Everyone in the office is really friendly and welcoming. Dr Mallak is really nice and thorough. I forget the oral surgeon’s name but he was great too! Alana one the hygienists is awesome! Chatted throughout my cleaning and learned more than I ever have about teeth but she was never judgmental, just very informative. I was also asking her about getting whitening trays and she looked up my insurance while in the examining room and discovered they would cover them! I had a deep cleaning done and when I’ve had them in the past my teeth/gums have been sore afterwards, but my mouth felt fine for the rest of the day – no pain at all!
