I took my child here to be checked out for braces, and I loved that the doctor did a quick estimate and told us there’s no hurry. She told us he can easily wait an year. In this day and age, where everyone’s out to make a quick buck, that was almost shocking. After having visited a few dentists already, her price was also the best. She may not have a very fancy office but her bedside manner and honesty has won us over already. We are definitely returning next year 🙂

I absolutely love Dr. Gum and her staff! I went to her father as a child for my first phase of braces, so when it came time for phase 2 (as an adult) she was my go to orthodontist. Dr. Gum is incredibly knowledgeable and makes you feel completely comfortable with the entire process, she also does an excellent job of explaining the braces process to you. I highly recommend Dr. Gum to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist! She will also be my children’s orthodontist, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with their teeth! 🙂

I can’t say enough good stuff about Dr Nancy and her fabulous team! They are all so welcoming and positive! I always feel like an old friend when I walk in there! Dr Nancy has been so patient with me; so thorough about explaining Invisalign and what I should expect as I wear them! I am thrilled that my own Dentist, Dr Rickey Fong recommended her for Invisalign!

I have been taking my children to Dr. Gum for the past 21 years (and still am).  My son was 6 when we first went for a front tooth that grew in complete sideways – after she took care of that, he went through braces and maintenance – somewhere in his maintenance stage I took my daughter in for braces who is also now in maintenance.  My youngest started seeing Dr. Gum for an under-bite issue (which was quite an under-bite) when she was four.  Dr. Gum worked with her through her growing phases and you cannot tell today that this was ever an issue – almost 8 years later, my daughter is now in braces.  We moved to Fremont from Campbell 15 years ago, and I have not changed orthodontists because I trust Dr. Gum like no other.  Her staff is friendly and personable.  I would recommend her to anyone.

This is hands down the best orthodontist office around. We checked out a few other orthodontists before deciding to go with Dr. Gum. Some of the other orthodontists may have fancier offices, but there was something about this office that we liked. It could be the calm, casual atmosphere. We appreciate Dr. Gums professionalism and she is also very friendly. Her staff is wonderful too, we especially like Caroline. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my sons smile- which by the way, looks amazing now! Thank you Dr. Gum!!

Dr. Gum has been the orthodontist for my daughters and I cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. First and foremost, I believe that she is very measured about deciding whether or not your child actually needs braces. I have a friend whose child was evaluated by another orthodontist for a very pricy regimen beginning at age 8 that would take many years to complete, and after they saw Dr. Gum, she told them that the child would only need the braces for cosmetic reasons, no jaw malocclusion was there, and it would take approx one year, “but not yet.” She did a free exam of one of my children when my daughter was being seen and concluded he would not need braces. We were already in for 2 kids, she could have easily told us he needed braces too and we would have never known. She has always been caring and attentive to my children. Also, she has a wonderful staff, from Caroline at the desk who is always patient with scheduling appts around school, to all of her assistants who are fabulous with kids. You cannot go wrong being treated by the people in this fine office.
