I have the worst teeth! Since childhood to adulthood my teeth have been worked on in an effort to save them..I have seen many Dentist over the years and hated to go because of the pain I experienced. About 12 years ago I started seeing Dr. Pop..he is Excellent! I have never felt one pain and he constantly is questioning if you are doing ok. He is qenuinely concerned with you health and his work is perfect. Dr. Pop has had to rebuild many of my teeth over the years due to decay from medications.He has managed to save and rebuild my teeth and he has done outstanding work. He never suggest any procedures that are unnecessary, from Sue his Hygienist to Sonya and Melia they are only concerned in providing quality care and services! I love Dr. Pop and his staff, I have become close to them all and consider them my friends. Dr. Pop has a sweet and caring personality.and an excellent Dentist, Sue has been his Hygienist forever and does a Great job in cleaning and checking for problems and always so cheerful, Melia Dental Assistant is so good at what she does and such a sweetheart and funny , Sonya in billing is so helpful and works with you on Insurance and payments, you will never meet a kinder, sweeter person! The entire staff has been with Dr. Pop for years and that says a lot about him and his treatment of people! I have managed with Dr. Pop’s help to save my teeth and have pretty perfect teeth! Dr. Pop will not let you leave until you are happy with his work and he will do everything in his power to make sure you are happy and have excellent care! . I recently got my husband to see Dr. Pop, he has been terrified of Dentist since childhood and refused to go. But he had a tooth that broke and he had no choice so I took him to Dr Pop. My husband is in his seventies so I was expecting to hear he was going to loose all his teeth! Sue cleaned his teeth and Dr. Pop reviewed her findings and amazingly he only had 3 teeth that needed work, Dr. Pop did the work and my husband said he could not find anything not a single thing to complain about since he had no pain and the work looked great!! If you need a Dentist and want a Great one I would not hesitate to refer you to Dr. Pop I promise you will not find a better quality Dentist or Dental office with the best staff anywhere around!!

First off, I don’t normally review places, but Dr. Pop and his staff have given me the best dental work to date. I don’t say this lightly, as my aunt is a dental hygenist and I went quite regularly as a kid. When I found Dr. Radu Pop I had around 6 large cavaties and hadn’t had a proper cleaning in years (don’t tell my aunt). I was worried the cleaning would hurt (it did briefly) but he was able to apply a numbing gel to help with my sensitivity. I absolutely hate fillings, mostly due to getting shot in the mouth and and it always taking forever in the chair while the filling gets done. Dr. Pop works quickly – no appointment ran over an hour and a large portion of that was waiting for the Novocaine to take affect. Of all the visits (there were several) I only once felt a bit of pain and that was due to my nerve being in a totally unexpected place. It wasn’t bad (his hands are light and he stopped right away), and he quickly gave me another shot in a different location and I couldn’t feel a thing afterwards. Oh, and the actual shot? He goes so slow that there’s virtually no pain at all! I also managed to incur several small chips in my front teeth over the years. He took the time to smooth them out, and my smile looks the best it ever has! After several visits, I can say without a doubt that Dr. Pop truly cares about his patients. I am so glad I found his practice. They deserve ALL of the stars!!!

I am really the worst dental patient in the history of dental patients. Dr. Pop and his staff go above and beyond to make sure you’re doing okay, AND he pulled a yucky tooth and I didn’t feel a thing. I also LOVE that he’s not a “pill pusher” as so many doctors and dentists are. Instead of heavy pain killers, IDr. Pop said to take ibuprofen and tylenol, which Maybe I won’t be so anxious to go to the dentists anymore! have worked just fine. Thanks you guys, I appreciate your kind and considerate service to your anxiety riddled patients!

Excellent care and service. The dental hygienist took so much time to take care of my teeth; one of the best cleanings I’ve ever had. I was unable to spend a lot of time with Dr Pop because my infant was screaming, but in that short amount of time, he was able to tell me what he observed and what I need to come back for. My husband went as well and liked him very much. We will keep him as our dentist.

Dr. Pop rocks. (Get it, Pop Rocks?) Seriously, though, when I first moved to Nashville a few years ago, it took me a while to find health care providers I was comfortable with. I can’t remember what brought me to Dr. Pop, probably my wife bullying me, but I’ve been very happy with the care that I have gotten there. Located across the street from the Belle Meade Kroger (and ironically in the parking lot is the headquarters of the notorious quack snake oil salesman “Dr.” Asa Andrew), Dr. Pop just recently renovated his offices and they did a really good job. I’ve never understood the people that get all uptight going to the dentist. My last dentist before I moved out here used to do my fillings without any sort of numbing agent and it never hurt. I go here regularly for teeth cleaning and have had a few fillings replaced. Dr. Pop did use a numbing agent and did a great job. He’s also quite a funny guy, has a great personality. Same with his hygienists. I’ve always thought it is an art form to be able to create conversation when the other party is only capable of make intermittent grunts and gurgles. These guys do a great job. I’ve also never had any issues with their billing or them working with my insurance, which is also a big relief. So yeah, if you need a great dentist, Dr. Pop is the guy.

My fears of the dentist have been put to rest. The staff here is very welcoming and the facilities are very clean. I had to get a filling and was dreading the numbing injection. Dr.Pop’s experience made the injections painless. I had no idea the needle was even there. He talked me through each step of the process and filled my tooth well and made it to where my bite was even. Very great experience and I recommend this service to anyone.

Dr. Pop & his staff are professional, conscientious, & respectful. I have been a patient since the opening of his practice. Dr. Pop has never recommended unnecessary treatment. In fact, for many years my only needs were cleaning with his excellent hygienist, Sue. Recently, I required a difficult extensive procedure. IMO Dr. Pop was meticulous & thorough. He was extremely attentive to my comfort level. I believe he sets high standards & exhibits confidence in his work while maintaining a humility in understanding my needs as a patient. Dr. Pop has retained the same staff with no turnover for years, which I find to be positive & exceptional. Dr. Pop is incredible! I struggled with a fear of dentists for as long as I can remember (due to some dental trauma during childhood) and he and his staff worked with me through that fear. He is patient and takes time to thoroughly explain why he recommends a certain treatment plan, and his work is second to none. He really cares about the work he does and will take the extra time to make sure everything he does is up to his standards and meets your needs. He also genuinely cares about his patients. Dr.Pop is the best dentist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! I’ve been with him for about six or seven years now. He is kind, caring, understanding, very funny, super professional, his team is AMAZING! The lady’s that work for Dr.Pop have been with him for years! I am not a good dental patient. It takes a lot of Novocaine to dull the pain and that much makes me numb and drooling all day. As a result I would rather grab the arm rails and suffer than deal with all the shots. Doctor Pop takes all that into account. His staff works with me, getting me appointments late in the day so that I can go home drooling instead of trying to suffer through a day at work. He works with me on what I need and we have come up with a schedule so that I can have the work I need done and still have it fit my budget. Best of all, he put in a crown that chipped and he replaced it. A month later it cracked and he replaced it with a harder material. He told me in no uncertain terms that he stands by his work and he would fix it as many times as it takes to make certain I was happy with it. The staff is delightful, the service professional and the location is easy. What’s not to0 like?

Dr. Pop and ALL of his staff are absolutely fantastic! From the moment I walk into the office, I am greeted by Sonia and Bahar who are amazing! They are so sweet and just want patients to have the best experience possible. My dental hygienist is Suzanna and I just love her! Like many patients, I see the same hygienist every time I go and she knows my teeth, problem areas and is so thorough with her cleanings! Like all the staff, Suzanna is personable and takes her time. Never do I feel rushed in the dental chair! What I like about Dr. Pop is he always books enough time with his patients— he is not rushed. He takes his time, answers all my questions and gives me the best dental advice and guidance needed! With all that said, I can’t not talk about Melia. This girl is fantastic and the one you see when you have more pressing matters that need to be addressed ( cavities, crowns, etc.). She is a rock star and her work is beyond reproach. Also very thorough and talks you through procedures that can be somewhat uncomfortable! And finally Dr. Pop— his work is exceptional! Hands down the best! There is not enough space on this post to comment about all his abilities but I will say that when you are in his chair, you are the most important patient at that time…he does not fly through procedures, takes his time and most importantly, the quality of his work is outstanding. He uses the best of the best of everything. I know this because I have certainly had a lot of dental procedures and can’t be more pleased—the end results are a true testament to this post. Even if you are having a cleaning done by a hygienist that would not normally warrant a visit with him, he still comes into the room, reviews charts and procedures and simply said, is always available for his patients! Great Dentist!
